It was an all-visitor heads up tonight in the PLO Deepstack Hyper. While all the local familiar faces at the final table, like Tony Ma, Anthony Madden, Mike Mal, and Michael Bingham dropped out, the two visitors, Joel Cortes from Mexico and Latvian Sindijs Anspoks (who resides on Paraguay at the moment), ended up facing own for the trophy.
John Donnelly was also in the mix three ways, with the final three making an ICM deal that took $150 from each player to leave $450 to play for. Donnelly had the 2nd stack, so he earned $4,363 in the deal, with Anspoks on the short stack for $4,325 guaranteed. Cortes was playing most of the chips, and secured $5,787 in the deal.
It didn’t take Donnelly long to end his night in 3rd, setting up the visitors’ heads-up. Anspoks grabbed a double to get even, and a few hands later they got it all in on a 3♠Q♥4♥ flop after pot-all action preflop.

Cortes found top pair on the flop, but Anspoks had the other two queens in his hand for the flopped set and a heart draw added for good measure. The runout bricked for Cortes, leaving Anspoks’ set in front for the win.
