It was another day of fast and furious poker action in the Vergina Theatro at Regency Casino, Thessaloniki, as a Day 1b field of 110 entrants in the 2026 Novibet Greek Poker Odyssea €1,000 Main Event was reduced to 30 Day 2 qualifiers, after 13 levels of combat.
They are led by Traianos-Alexandros Ntavoutis of Greece (955,000), who also takes the overall chip lead, after surpassing Day 1a chip leader Lorezno Arduini (922,000).
Ntavoutis is followed by fellow countryman Fotios Ntamaris (919,000), both of whom stretched well ahead of Vasyl Vorynka of Russia (657,000) in third.
Ntavoutis is a Regency Casino regular, and will be hoping to surpass his current career-best recorded tournament score of $3,347 in the coming days.
Ntamaris is a seasoned professional with almost $400,000 in recorded career earnings, while the bulk of Vorynka’s recorded results come from a win in an EAPT Main Event in 2024 for €52,350.
Plenty of other quality players found a bag, including Ivan Popov of Bulgaria (381,000) and David Kozma of Hungary (377,000), with the full counts below.
