Short-stacked Matthew Archer appeared to be card dead for quite some time. Eventually, he was forced all in from 100,000 from the Small Blind. Kye Hamilton got a “free” chance to eliminate an opponent.

It was a crucial time for Archer to pick up a premium hand, to say the least. The board spelled out 34A3Q, and he was now playing 400,000.

Two hands later, he moved all in for the aforementioned 400,000 from the Hi-jack. Andrew Matthews (Small Blind) and Anwar Kanj (Big Blind) both made the call.

Matthews and Kanj checked down every street of the 69AJQ board.

A pair of aces granted Archer a triple-up. Is this the beginning of something extraordinary?
