Once the final two players made a deal, it sped things up quite a bit. While Daniel Lefebvre was the short stack when they struck the deal, he quickly flipped that around to take the lead, putting Mosher on his heels.
The final confrontation saw Lefebvre’s two-pair best the flopped ace for Mosher. Mosher raised to 165k and Lefebvre called to see A♣Q♠8♣ on the flop. Lefebvre check-called for 150k to the 7♥ turn. Lefebvre checked again, but raised to 800k when Mosher fired 300k.
Mosher shoved and Lefebvre snapped it off with queen-seven for the turned two pair against ace-three for Mosher. The river didn’t help him and it was all over. Mosher secured $72,425 in the deal.
