With more than $1.5 million in guaranteed prizes, the WPT® Global Summer Million at Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, just outside Montreal, looks to be the hottest poker action in Canada in late July. After a couple of days to regroup following the final hands at the Vegas summer party, live poker action will be underway at Canada’s premier poker club starting July 20.
There is a full schedule of events running from July 20 through Aug 3, including a $1,150 Main Event with $600k guaranteed. That’s in addition to a Mystery Bounty game, early in the series, with $250k guaranteed, and a High Roller for $2,200 with $150k guaranteed.

The other big game of interest to highlight is the Mystery Bounty. There is $250k guaranteed for the $350 buy-in, and, as with the Main Event, players have a chance to qualify for Day 2 online, from the comfort of their own home in addition to the live day 1s on the schedule.
Mystery Bounty action kicks off live at Playground on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, with the first of 10 live flights to Day 2 on Jul 27. Add in an additional online Day 1 to get 11 shots at a Day 2 bag in the Mystery Bounty, making the $250k guarantee look pretty easy to beat.
