David Doherty bagged up a huge stack of 908,000 to lead 34 qualifiers in Day 1b of the £150 Mini Main Event, taking the overall chip lead in the process. Doherty was tailed by Brian Etheridge (717,000) and Trevor Mills (564,000).

Multiple PartyPoker Tour trophy winner Oliver Hutchins (417,000) also bagged big, while PartyPoker Tour ambassador Jaime Staples (274,000) progressed.

Bernard McGinley was the unfortunate player to bubble after being rivered in a brutal three way all-in.
