Event #7: $450 PLO Double Board Bomb Pot

The PLO Double Board Bomb Pot game is a new addition to this series, and it promises to be action-packed, with a bomb pot on every hand of the game. That puts the whole table in every hand, at least to the two flops.
The action gets going at 1 PM, and blinds are 25 minutes. Note that this game doesn’t have small/big blinds due to the structure. Instead, the ante starts at 500 and increases with every level, and all players will pay an ante on every hand.
Entries will close at about 5:35 PM when they return from the 30-Minute dinner break following Level 9, and then they race to the trophy in this one-day event.
As this is the first time this format has run on the PPT, there is nothing to compare it to. However, with one or two notable exceptions, the excited buzz around the Pearl Room today about this game has been palpable, and it will be very interesting to see the field size.
I’ll be focusing on this as my main game on Monday, but expect me to be late to the floor.
