Finally in the Money

The interminable bubble has finally terminated, with Colten Yamagishi out on the bubble. He shoved a couple big blinds from the small blind, and Mike Malm called him blind.

Malm was on the dirty diaper (trey-deuce off) against ace-five for Yamagishi. They both hit the flop, with Yamagishi finding a five and Malm finding a three. Malm tripped up when the three paired on the turn, and the river bricked for Yamagishi.

Immediately afterwards, Peter Darlington hit the rail from the other table for 10th place. Ken Tarabula followed him out shortly after for 9th place, and after about 2.5 hours on the bubble, they lost two players in less than 5 minutes in the money. The field is now on the bubble to the final table, with about 15 minutes remaining until the next break at the end of this level.
