What's Waiting in Panama City
The Sortis Hotel, Spa & Casino is one of Panama City's finest properties, and it is the full venue for the series: the poker room, the accommodation, the restaurants, all in one building. For players who are entering multiple events across the 11 days, that proximity matters more than it might sound. No daily commute to the casino. The full schedule runs November 5 through 15, with the Main Event playing down to a winner on the final day.
The 12-event lineup spans buy-ins from $300 to $3,000 and covers NLH, PLO, bounty formats, and turbo structures. Cash games are also on the program, with NLH and PLO starting at $1/$3 and bigger games scheduled throughout the series. The $2,500 High Roller Bounty Championship runs November 10 and 11. The $3,000 WSOPC High Roller closes the series on November 14 and 15, running alongside the Main Event final day.
Michael Mizrachi Is Playing, and There Is a Bounty on His Head
Florida's Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi is arguably the most decorated active player in the world right now, and he is coming to Panama City. Mizrachi won the 2025 WSOP Main Event for $10,000,000. He then won the 2026 WSOP $10,000 PLO Championship for $1,350,203. He is a four-time winner of the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, the most wins in that event's history. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2025. He holds nine WSOP bracelets and has over $28 million in live tournament earnings. He is now a GGPoker Global Ambassador, and he will be at the Sortis for this series.
The nine bracelets span 16 years and nearly every poker format. Four of them came in the PPC, the game's most grueling mixed-game event. One came in the 2025 WSOP Main Event, the biggest prize in poker. The most recent came at the 2026 WSOP in PLO, confirming that his game has not narrowed with success. He is one of eight players in history to win nine or more bracelets.

GGPoker has added a bounty to his presence in Panama. Players who qualified through a GGPoker satellite and knock Mizrachi out of any event he enters will receive their buy-in back in cash, with their tournament still live. Eliminate him from the $1,700 Main Event, and you get $1,700 back, plus your seat intact. For anyone who entered through GGPoker's satellite route, it is a real added prize on top of the normal payout structure.
Win a Ring, Get to the Bahamas
Every ring winner at WSOP Circuit Panama receives a $5,000 package to WSOP Paradise in December. The WSOP Circuit Championship is the season-ending event that brings together ring winners from stops around the world. Win in Panama, and you have a second major poker destination on your schedule within weeks. The package covers your entry, so you won't have to pay anything extra to enter the Championship.
There is also a $10,000 leaderboard prize for the player who tops the series standings. To compete, you need to cash in at least three events over the 11 days. Points follow the same formula as the WSOP Player of the Year race, so larger fields and higher buy-ins carry more weight. For players building a deep schedule, every cash in every event adds to the running total.
Panama Opens the Door to Punta Cana
Registering for any ring event in Panama makes you eligible for a discounted package to WSOP Super Circuit Punta Cana in January 2027. Eligible players can get the package for $7,500, down from the published price of $10,500. That is a $3,000 saving on a package that includes entry to the $3,500 Main Event and two $500 side events. If your 2027 poker calendar is already taking shape, Panama is the place to start.
