It’s heads up now after Joseph Leung got his short stack in with K♣8♣6♠5♠ against A♣A♦8♥6♦ for Julius Roque, and Q♦Q♠J♠7♥ for Kurtis Ruhl. Ruhl and Roque checked it down through 9♥8♠4♣9♠2♦, and his aces were good for the pot, sending Leung out in 3rd place.
Roque, who has led from the start of this final table, is heads up against Ruhl, who was the short stack for much of this table. He’s still the short stack, but it’s a lot closer now, with Roque on about 1.2 million to 1 million for Ruhl. Roque is looking for his first win this series, but Ruhl crushed the HORSE game the other day, so he’s looking for win #2.
