Although only 11 players returned to Olympic Casino, Lietuva for the final day of the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event, a full 11 hours of combat were required before hometown hero Jurgis Beinoras was crowned as a worthy champion, taking the trophy and final portion of the prize pool following a three-way ICM deal.
Beinoras was the last player standing from a 121-entry field, which created a €114,950 prize pool. At the time the deal was struck, the stacks of Beinoras, fellow countryman Sergej Babincev, and Romans Lihacovs of Latvia were almost even. Babincev had a slight lead, and banked €19,255, while Lihacovs and the champion secured €18,680 and €18,665 paydays respectively.

The deal left €6,290 and the trophy still to play for, and a titanic struggle ensued that took almost four hours to come to its conclusion. Lihacovs exited in third after jamming with second pair into Beinoras’ turned straight, before almost three hours of heads-up dueling took place before Beinoras and Babincev could be separated, sending Beinoras the trophy and a €24,995 bankroll boost.
The result appears to represent Beinoras’ largest recorded live tournament score, and the same can be said of former professional footballer Babincev, who was previously on the books of SFK Rotalis as a goalkeeper. Lihacovs meanwhile continues his fine form, having racked up around $250,000 in cashes in the last year.

Final Day Recap
Linas Leščiauskas started the final day as the chip leader in a tightly-packed field, with the title completely up for grabs. Babincev stormed into an early chip lead when he coolered Tomas Kovalenka in a two pair versus straight scenario, before he got lucky on the river to cause the first casualty of the day by cracking the aces of Dominykas Morkunas.
Leščiauskas crashed out in tenth to set the final table, after he got rivered in two big pots in quick succession, with Artūras Antonianas and Lihacovs the beneficiaries.

Babincev had a healthy lead over Albert Ostrovskij at that point, who secured yet another OlyBet Main Event final table finish, while Beinoras was in fifth.
Short-stack Vadims Milovs was the first casualty at the final table, falling to Stanislovas Viničenka, before Tomas Kovalenka found doubles in quick succession to move into contention.
Beinoras lost a flip to double Antonianas, before Ostrovskij got unlucky to exit in eighth in a huge three-way all-in with Lihacovs and Kovalenka. Lihacovs secured the triple-up, and rode that momentum all the way to his third-place finish.

After a very quiet start to the final day, Beinoras suddenly exploded into life, finding successive doubles against Babincev and Viničenka. The champion proceeded to take a four-bet pot, and cracked Kovalenka’s aces, sending him to the payout desk in the process, to move into the lead.
Antonianas got unlucky to fall to Lihacovs in sixth, although he had been continually short at the final table, and he was followed out the door by Viničenka shortly after, whose stack had also dwindled.
Babincev doubled through Lihacovs with two pair, and Beinoras claimed his second scalp of the final table when he sent Adomas Juozapavičius to the rail in fourth. At this point Beinoras had a significant lead over Babincev and Lihacovs, but Babincev came back into it when he bluffed the champion, before Lihacovs got lucky to crack Babincev’s queens.
Lihacovs doubled through Beinoras when in a dominating position, and after the eventual champion also doubled Babincev, the stacks were almost even, and the deal was agreed.
The battle was far from over however, as the final three, and then final duo, went to war in an intense confrontation for the last €6,290 of the prize pool, and the trophy. Lihacovs took the lead for a period, but he would ultimately hit the buffers in third, running into Beinoras’ one-card straight.

A back and forth contest between Beinoras and Babincev then broke out, with Beinoras in the lead for most of it, but seemingly unable to land the decisive blow.
Babincev came back to almost even after showing a bluff, but Beinoras put daylight between them again when he check-jammed the turn in a big pot, and got a fold. In the decisive hand, Babincev got it in good, but Beinoras hit a pair, and Babincev missed a flush draw, bringing to an end an epic battle.
