Although only 11 players returned to Olympic Casino, Lietuva for the final day of the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event, a full 11 hours of combat were required before hometown hero Jurgis Beinoras was crowned as a worthy champion, taking the trophy and final portion of the prize pool following a three-way ICM deal.

Beinoras was the last player standing from a 121-entry field, which created a €114,950 prize pool. At the time the deal was struck, the stacks of Beinoras, fellow countryman Sergej Babincev, and Romans Lihacovs of Latvia were almost even. Babincev had a slight lead, and banked €19,255, while Lihacovs and the champion secured €18,680 and €18,665 paydays respectively.

    Sergej Babincev

The deal left €6,290 and the trophy still to play for, and a titanic struggle ensued that took almost four hours to come to its conclusion. Lihacovs exited in third after jamming with second pair into Beinoras’ turned straight, before almost three hours of heads-up dueling took place before Beinoras and Babincev could be separated, sending Beinoras the trophy and a €24,995 bankroll boost.

The result appears to represent Beinoras’ largest recorded live tournament score, and the same can be said of former professional footballer Babincev, who was previously on the books of SFK Rotalis as a goalkeeper. Lihacovs meanwhile continues his fine form, having racked up around $250,000 in cashes in the last year.

    Final Day Recap

Linas Leščiauskas started the final day as the chip leader in a tightly-packed field, with the title completely up for grabs. Babincev stormed into an early chip lead when he coolered Tomas Kovalenka in a two pair versus straight scenario, before he got lucky on the river to cause the first casualty of the day by cracking the aces of Dominykas Morkunas.

Leščiauskas crashed out in tenth to set the final table, after he got rivered in two big pots in quick succession, with Artūras Antonianas and Lihacovs the beneficiaries.

Babincev had a healthy lead over Albert Ostrovskij at that point, who secured yet another OlyBet Main Event final table finish, while Beinoras was in fifth.

Short-stack Vadims Milovs was the first casualty at the final table, falling to Stanislovas Viničenka, before Tomas Kovalenka found doubles in quick succession to move into contention.

Beinoras lost a flip to double Antonianas, before Ostrovskij got unlucky to exit in eighth in a huge three-way all-in with Lihacovs and Kovalenka. Lihacovs secured the triple-up, and rode that momentum all the way to his third-place finish.

    Albert Ostrovskij

After a very quiet start to the final day, Beinoras suddenly exploded into life, finding successive doubles against Babincev and Viničenka. The champion proceeded to take a four-bet pot, and cracked Kovalenka’s aces, sending him to the payout desk in the process, to move into the lead.

Antonianas got unlucky to fall to Lihacovs in sixth, although he had been continually short at the final table, and he was followed out the door by Viničenka shortly after, whose stack had also dwindled.

Babincev doubled through Lihacovs with two pair, and Beinoras claimed his second scalp of the final table when he sent Adomas Juozapavičius to the rail in fourth. At this point Beinoras had a significant lead over Babincev and Lihacovs, but Babincev came back into it when he bluffed the champion, before Lihacovs got lucky to crack Babincev’s queens.

Lihacovs doubled through Beinoras when in a dominating position, and after the eventual champion also doubled Babincev, the stacks were almost even, and the deal was agreed.

The battle was far from over however, as the final three, and then final duo, went to war in an intense confrontation for the last €6,290 of the prize pool, and the trophy. Lihacovs took the lead for a period, but he would ultimately hit the buffers in third, running into Beinoras’ one-card straight.

    Romans Lihacovs

A back and forth contest between Beinoras and Babincev then broke out, with Beinoras in the lead for most of it, but seemingly unable to land the decisive blow.

Babincev came back to almost even after showing a bluff, but Beinoras put daylight between them again when he check-jammed the turn in a big pot, and got a fold. In the decisive hand, Babincev got it in good, but Beinoras hit a pair, and Babincev missed a flush draw, bringing to an end an epic battle.

That concludes poker.pro‘s coverage of this event, but stay tuned for our recap’s of the action this weekend at 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius, and be sure to check out our reporting from other tournaments around the world.

Albert Ostrovskij has been the personification of consistency in 2026, registering four top-ten finishes in flagship OlyBet events, including finishing sixth in the Showdown Voodoo Spring Edition in Riga in March, and tenth in the Showdown Main Event in Tallinn in April.

A trophy has so far eluded the Lithuanian, however, and he returns today, May 16, at noon to Olympic Casino, Lietuva sitting sixth out of 11 final day qualifiers, with the sole aim of hunting down chip leader Linas Leščiauskas, and lifting silverware by the end of play. Ostrovskij revealed to poker.pro yesterday he is determined to turn close calls into a trophy, and it is unlikely anyone wants it more.

In a condensed field, every player will feel they have a chance of taking the title and chunky €29,370 first-place prize, representing the lion’s share of the €114,950 prize pool.

All final day qualifiers have guaranteed themselves a €2,980 payday. Lithuanian Leščiauskas starts the day on 802,000, and leads fellow countrymen Tomas Kovalenka (764,000) and Sergej Babincev (746,000), both of whom went deep in the main side-event, the €555 NLH Championship.

A fifth-place finish would represent a new career-best recorded tournament score for Leščiauskas, while all 20 of Kovalenka’s recorded results totaling $40,231 come from events here at Olympic Casino, Lietuva.

Plenty of quality players remain in the field, and a Latvian pair will be hoping to gatecrash the Lithuanian party. Roman Lihacovs (402,000) hit a huge $200,000 score a year ago in the Merit Millions in Cyprus, while Vadims Milovs (229,000) also has a six-figure career record, with cashes of over $165,000.

Adomas Juozapavičius (286,000) is another OlyBet regular, amassing total career-recorded cashes of $26,658, and a fourth-place finish here would be good for a new career-best live result. Dominykas Morkunas (646,000) meanwhile, boasts three wins in OlyBet Showdown side events among his total cashes of $19,782 (All figures courtesy of The Hendon Mob).

Leščiauskas leads fellow countrymen Tomas Kovalenka (764,000) and Sergej Babincev (746,000), both of whom went deep in the main side-event, the €555 NLH Championship.

    Day 2 Recap

A total of 45 players from 98 entrants had qualified from three starting flights, with Ostrovskij leading the way at the start of play, and with late registration open for two levels in Day 2, a further 23 entries were logged, to bring the prize pool to €114,950.

Those figures meant 15 places would be paid, with a minimum cash good for €2,290, and by the time late registration closed, 42 players were still seated.

2025 runner-up Rasmus Sihvonen and Ville Keranen, who has picked up a trophy already this week, were among those who fell before the three-table redraw, where Kovalenka led the way.

Defending champion Ridas Skridulis would exit thereafter, and Leščiauskas found a double to stay in it against Artūras Daukševič.

    Rokas Skridulis (Photo: Mantas Repecka)

The bubble would arise shortly after the third break, and it proved to be a tense, nerve-shredding 90-minute affair, with numerous doubles for short-stacks, while Stanislovas Viničenka rose to the top of the standings for a period after hitting trips against Sergej Babincev.

The dam eventually burst when short-stack Audrius Šiaulys busted to Daukševič, after he hit the front on the turn, but was then brought back down to earth by the river.

    Audrius Siaulys (Photo: Mantas Repecka)

Svajūnas Šeduikis was first to go in the money when he ran into Ostrovskij’s queens, before Babincev got lucky to eliminate Daukševič. The cruelest exit of the day belonged to Vytautas Kačerauskas, who flopped two pair in a flip against Artūras Antonianas, only to be two-outed on the turn.

OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Riga Spring Edition champion Justas Vaičiulionis was the last casualty of the day, after Ostrovskij left him drawing dead on the turn with trip jacks.

The players will return at noon on May 16 to Level 22, with blinds of 10,000/15,000/15,000, where play will continue until the trophy is hoisted.

    Linas Leščiauskas (Photo: Mantas Repecka)

  • Paulius Kisielius Earns First Live Trophy in 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship Win (*€17,100 After Heads-Up Deal)

    Prizes:€80,275

Paulius Kisielius tasted the pain of a runner-up finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in November 2025, and although the blow was softened by a career-best score of €47,630, secured after a heads-up deal with the eventual champion, Mantas Bagocius, the Lithuanian has nursed a burning desire to go one better since.

Today, Kisielius got his wish as he emerged as the last player standing in the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship, from a Day 3 field of nine, to finally get his hands on a live trophy.

Another heads-up deal came into play when the 169-entry field was reduced to its final duo, after Andrej Sidinevskij eliminated short-stack Robertas Visockas in third.

    Andrej Sidinevskij (Photo: Mantas Repecka)

Despite holding a more than 2:1 lead over Kisielius, Sidinevskij was content to agree a chop of €14,000, with only the destination of the trophy, and the final €3,100 of the €80,275 prize pool, still to be determined by the heads-up contest. Kisielius quickly turned the deficit around, and the end came when he had his opponent drawing dead on the turn with two pair.

    Winner’s Reaction

Kisielius was surprised by the deal, saying “Yeh it was a bit of a strange agreement, I definitely didn’t expect it. He was tired after three days of playing I think, although today had been quick. It was a tough field, got a bit lucky at certain points, but yeh it all ended well.

“I’m really happy because it’s my first trophy. I’ve had some runner-ups and thirds, so finally got it. So it’s really nice, and yeh pleased and proud of myself.”

Kisielius would describe himself as a serious amateur, and maintains that despite his recent successes, his business commitments do not allow him time to pursue the game in a more serious capacity. He fully intends to play whenever he can, however, and as a regular at OlyBet events in Vilnius, he is thinking about spreading his wings further afield and joining the action in Riga and Tallinn.

“I play for fun, and it’s good to compete against strong players. You can win, many are stronger than me, but you can win if you try. I will probably get to Tallinn, it’s difficult to take too much time away, but any time I can you’ll see me!”

    Final Day Recap

Ville Keranen started the day with a decent lead over Sigitas Raila and Sidinevskij, while the champion was sitting in the middle of the pack.

Kisielius got moving early, after being on the right end of an aces versus queens cooler against Onni Harmaala. The Finn was left short, and was the first casualty of the final table shortly after, falling to Sidinevskij.

The final duo tangled in a big four-bet pot, which went Sidinevskij’s way following a jam over Kisielius’ flop lead, to send him to the top of the standings. Algirdas Saveikis was now the short-stack, and he hit the wall when he ran into Visockas’ ace-king to lose a flip.

Alex Heinonen had less than ten bigs when he jammed the small blind with a weak ace, but ran into Visockas’ pocket nines to exit in seventh. The champion had now become relatively short, but he doubled in crucial fashion with a dominating ace against Visockas.

    Robertas Visockas

Raila proceeded to pick up rockets at the perfect time, ending up in a three-way all-in situation with Keranen and Sidinevskij, both of whom had decent hands, but which proved to be no match for the strongest of pocket pairs, sending Keranen to the rail in sixth.

Kisielius picked up crucial chips when he check-jammed the turn in a chunky three-way pot to take it down unopposed, before Tomas Kovalenka came off worst in a flip versus Raila in a big blind versus button scenario, to reduce the field to four.

A huge cooler erupted between the chip leaders, Raila and Sidinevskij, in what proved to be the key hand of the tournament prior to the deal. In an under the gun versus big blind spot, Sidinevskij four-bet jammed with aces and was snapped by Raila’s jacks. There was no escape for Raila, who was left with dust, and was finished off in fourth by Sidinevskij in the next hand.

    Sigitas Raila

Visockas was next to go, after jamming his short-stack from the small blind into Sidinevskij’s stronger ace, and it appeared the stage was set for a heads-up contest between Sidinevskij and Kisielius, Sidinevskij holding a more than 2:1 advantage.

However, the heads-up deal was swiftly agreed, and Kisielius quickly reversed the position to get his hands on the trophy and final portion of the prize pool, securing a handsome €17,100 payday.

That concludes poker.pro‘s coverage of this event, but be sure to join us from noon tomorrow for our coverage of Day 2 of the €1,100 Main Event.

Time has been called on Day 2 of the €555 NLH Championship at the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius 2026, and after the dust settled at Olympic Casino Lietuva, Ville Keranen of Finland soared to the top of the standings after bagging 1,460,000 to lead a final table of nine players.

Keranen has put himself in pole position to claim the €18,685 first-place prize, representing the lion’s share of the €80,275 prize pool created by the 169-runner field, while the final nine have guaranteed themselves a €2,140 payday.

The final table will kick off at noon on May 14, and will be contested between Finland and Lithuania, with the combatants split between the two countries. Keranen is stalked by Lithuanian pair Sigitas Raila (1,020,000) and Andrej Sidinevskij (935,000), while local duo Robertas Visockas (415,000) and Algirdas Saveikis (345,000) bring up the rear. Keranen, meanwhile, is joined by fellow Finns Onni Harmaala (720,000) and Alex Heinonen (505,000).

Keranen’s stack was gained primarily through waking up with rockets at the perfect time against fellow big-stack Matas Budginas’ ace-king. All the chips hit the middle on the basis of the starting hands, and Keranen comfortably held. At that point the Finn was close to the two million mark, but he took a couple of hits towards the end of play.

Keranen is a regular at OlyBet events, but surprisingly does not yet have a Lithuanian flag on his record. A sixth-place finish here will push him over $300,000 in recorded live earnings.

Raila’s biggest tournament cash is a fourth-place finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in 2024 for $23,900, while Sidinevskij appears to have a limited recorded live record. Paulius Kisielius (655,000) is in good form, and will be a dangerman, having bagged a runner-up finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in November 2025 for $55,078. Day 2 Recap

A total of 48 players had qualified from 138 entries across two starting flights, but with late registration open for two levels in Day 2, the final figure reached 169 entrants.

Those statistics meant 20 places would be paid, with a minimum cash good for €1,150. Heinonen led the way from Sergej Babincev at the start of play, who would ultimately fall in twelfth.

The knockouts came thick and fast from the outset, and as the bubble approached, Keranen had risen to the top of the standings. With the tension rising after about 30-minutes of play, Morten Bremseth of Norway was the unfortunate player to leave empty-handed, and it was in the most brutal fashion, his pocket aces being two-outered on the river by Justinas Adomauskas’ pocket nines.

    Justinas Adomauskas

Keranen cemented his lead by busting Žygimantas Skvarčevskis with a full house, the first player to exit in the money, and Skvarčevskis was soon followed by Adomauskas and Jonas Lapinskas.

Budginas got lucky to bust Gerardas Lukšėnas with an inferior ace, but any thoughts he might have had of a run at the title proved to be short-lived, as he got coolered with Big Slick by Keranen’s aces shortly after.

Harmaala proceeded to claim the scalps of Saulius Visockas and Babincev, before Tomas Kovalenka got in on the act, busting Kęstutis Jungevičius and Marijus Dirgela to set the final table, and bring a close to the day’s play with 35 minutes left in Level 25.

  • Jurgis Beinoras Bags Olybet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event Win After Epic Battle (*€24,995 After Deal)

A total of 121 entries were logged for the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event, and after an action-packed Day 2, Linas Leščiauskas of Lithuania (802,000) leads 11 players who return for the final day, scheduled for noon on May 16, at Olympic Casino, Lietuva.

Leščiauskas leads fellow countrymen Tomas Kovalenka (764,000) and Sergej Babincev (746,000), both of whom went deep in the main side-event, the €555 NLH Championship.

In a condensed field, every player will feel they have a chance of taking the title and chunky €29,370 first-place prize, representing the lion’s share of the €114,950 prize pool. All players have guaranteed themselves a €2,980 payday.

Leščiauskas claimed the chip lead after taking a big pot by jamming the river in the final hand of the day, shortly after he was the beneficiary of a top set versus two pair cooler against Jurgis Beinoras.

A fifth-place finish here would represent a new career-best recorded tournament score for Leščiauskas, while all 20 of Kovalenka’s recorded results totaling $40,231 come from events here at Olympic Casino, Lietuva.

Albert Ostrovskij (554,000) has been a consistent performer in OlyBet Main Events, finishing sixth in the Showdown Voodoo Spring Edition in Riga in March, and tenth in the Showdown Main Event in Tallinn in April, and it could be his time to finally lift the trophy.
