A total of 121 entries were logged for the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event, and after an action-packed Day 2, Linas Leščiauskas of Lithuania (802,000) leads 11 players who return for the final day, scheduled for noon on May 16, at Olympic Casino, Lietuva.

Leščiauskas leads fellow countrymen Tomas Kovalenka (764,000) and Sergej Babincev (746,000), both of whom went deep in the main side-event, the €555 NLH Championship.

In a condensed field, every player will feel they have a chance of taking the title and chunky €29,370 first-place prize, representing the lion’s share of the €114,950 prize pool. All players have guaranteed themselves a €2,980 payday.

Leščiauskas claimed the chip lead after taking a big pot by jamming the river in the final hand of the day, shortly after he was the beneficiary of a top set versus two pair cooler against Jurgis Beinoras.

A fifth-place finish here would represent a new career-best recorded tournament score for Leščiauskas, while all 20 of Kovalenka’s recorded results totaling $40,231 come from events here at Olympic Casino, Lietuva.

There are plenty of other quality players in the mix, with the trophy destined to remain in Lithuania or make the short trip to Latvia.

Albert Ostrovskij (554,000) has been a consistent performer in OlyBet Main Events, finishing sixth in the Showdown Voodoo Spring Edition in Riga in March, and tenth in the Showdown Main Event in Tallinn in April, and it could be his time to finally lift the trophy.

Day 2 Recap

A total of 45 players from 98 entrants had qualified from three starting flights, with Ostrovskij leading the way at the start of play, and with late registration open for two levels in Day 2, a further 23 entries were logged, to bring the prize pool to €114,950.

Those figures meant 15 places would be paid, with a minimum cash good for €2,290, and by the time late registration closed, 42 players were still seated.

2025 runner-up Rasmus Sihvonen and Ville Keranen, who has picked up a trophy already this week were among those who fell before the three-table redraw, where Kovalenka led the way.

Defending champion Ridas Skridulis would exit thereafter, and Leščiauskas found a double to stay in it against Artūras Daukševič.

The bubble would arise shortly after the third break, and it proved to be a tense, nerve-shredding 90-minute affair, with numerous doubles for short-stacks, while Stanislovas Viničenka rose to the top of the standings for a period after hitting trips against Sergej Babincev.

The dam eventually burst when short-stack Audrius Šiaulys busted to Daukševič, after he hit the front on the turn, but was then brought back down to earth by the river.

Svajūnas Šeduikis was first to go in the money when he ran into Ostrovskij’s queens, before Babincev got lucky to eliminate Daukševič. The cruelest exit of the day belonged to Vytautas Kačerauskas, who flopped two pair in a flip against Artūras Antonianas, only to be two-outed on the turn.

OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Riga Spring Edition champion Justas Vaičiulionis was the last casualty of the day, after Ostrovskij left him drawing dead on the turn with trip jacks.

The players will return at noon on May 16 to Level 22, with blinds of 10,000/15,000/15,000, where play will continue until the trophy is hoisted.
