Mantas Bagocius has emerged as a worthy champion in the OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo €555 NLH Championship, converting his final table chip lead into the trophy and a €13,115 payday after defeating Davis Modans heads-up.
Stay tuned for a recap of the final day and an interview with the champion.
With 135,000 in the middle on a flop of 6♠2♠2♦, Mantas Bagocius checked from the big blind to Egidijus Matonis on the button, who slid out a bet of 85,000.
Bagocius responded with a check-raise to 225,000. Matonis took some time to think, before he pumped it up further to 375,000.
Bagocius called, and the 8♦ hit on the turn. Matonis jammed for around 500,000, and Bagocius snap-called.
Egidijus Matonis: 7♠5♥ Mantas Bagocius: 6♣2♣
Matonis had a wrap draw, but was drawing dead versus Bagocius’ full house, and the 5♦ river completed the board.
Bagocius is now heads-up with Davis Modans, holding a nearly 4:1 chip lead. The players have taken a short break before battle commences.
Jurgis Beinoras opened to 40,000 under the gun, and received calls from all three of his opponents.
Action was checked to Beinoras on the A♣8♥3♠ flop, who slid out a bet of 25,000.
Only Mantas Bagocius called to see the 6♠ turn, where he check-called a further bet of 45,000 from Beinoras.
The A♥ hit on the river, and Bagocius checked once more. Beinoras took some time before moving all in with a bet of around 190,000, and grimaced when Bagocius snap-called.
Beinoras tabled K♠10♣ for air, and Bagocius had found a good call with 9♦8♦ for two pair.
The players have been sent on a 15-minute break.
Mantas Bagocius – 825,000 Egidijus Matonis – 915,000 Davis Modans – 1,080,000 Jurgis Beinoras – 0
Jurgis Beinoras opened to 40,000 under the gun, and received calls from Egidijus Matonis on the button, and Davis Modans and Mantas Bagocius in the blinds.
On the J♠9♣6♣ flop, action was checked to Beinoras, who slid out a bet of 30,000.
Matonis folded, but Modans responded with a check-raise to 95,000. Bagocius folded, and Beinoras called.
The Q♠ hit on the turn, and Modans jammed for around 305,000, forcing a fold from Beinoras.
Modans breathed a sigh of relief and tabled 5♠4♠ for the turned flush draw.
Davis Modans – 652,000 Jurgis Beinoras – 370,000 Mantas Bagocius – 685,000 Egidijus Matonis – 1,095,000
Egidijus Matonis opened to 30,000 from the cutoff, and received a call from Davis Modans on the button, before Lasse Melby three-bet jammed for 260,000 from the small blind.
Matonis rejammed, and Modans got out of the way.
Lasse Melby: A♠5♣ Egidijus Matonis: 10♠10♣
Melby was in trouble with a solitary overcard, and he bricked the K♥7♠3♠7♦Q♠ runout.
Mantas Bagocius opened to 30,000 from middle position, and was met with a three-bet jam of 270,000 from Eriks Krumins in the small blind.
After some thought, Bagocius called to put Krumins at risk.
Eriks Krumins: K♦J♣ Mantas Bagocius: A♠J♦
Krumins was dominated, and the 6♠3♠3♦ flop was no help. The K♠ hit on the turn to put Krumins in front, but it also gave Bagocius the flush draw, and the 7♠ duly rolled off on the river to send Krumins to the rail.
Jurgis Beinoras completed from the small blind, and Eriks Krumins knuckled his option.
On the J♦6♠5♠ flop, Beinoras check-called a bet of 22,000 from Krumins.
The 2♣ hit on the turn, and Beinoras checked again. Krumins fired out a bet of 60,000, but snap-folded to an all-in bet of around 280,000 from Beinoras.
With 190,000 in the middle on a board of 10♦4♣3♦J♠K♥, Mantas Bagocius fired out a bet of 85,000 from under the gun, and was met with an all-in bet of 195,000 from Erik Krumins in the cutoff.
Bagocius shook his head and went into the tank, but ultimately folded.
Egidijus Matonis has taken a number of pots relatively uncontested, and here he opened to 20,000, and received calls from Girts Niedritis and Jurgis Beinoras in the blinds.
On the A♦8♥6♣ flop, action was checked to Matonis, who fired out a bet of 16,000.
Only Beinoras called to see the 2♦, where Beinoras check-folded versus a double-barrel of 55,000 from Matonis.
Lasse Melby opened to 20,000 from middle position, and received a call from Mantas Bagocius in the cutoff, before Jari Mahonen three-bet jammed for 70,000 from the button.
Both of his opponents called, and proceeded to check down the A♥K♠2♦A♣5♣ runout.
Mahonen showed 10♠10♣ for two pair, but Melby had better with K♥J♦, while Bagocius had 8♠7♠.
Lasse Melby – 430,000 Mantas Bagocius – 705,000 Jari Mahonen – 0
With 80,000 in the middle on a completed board of Q♥7♠5♠J♠8♥, Mantas Bagocius slid out a bet of 40,000 from the big blind, forcing a fold from Eriks Krumins in the cutoff.
Mantas Bagocius opened to 16,000 from middle position, and Egidijus Matonis defended the big blind.
On the Q♣4♦2♦ flop, Matonis check-called versus a bet of 16,000 from Bagocius.
The 7♥ turn was checked to the A♣ river, where Matonis checked once more. Bagocius fired out a bet of 47,000, and was faced with a check-raise to 162,000 from Matonis.
Bagocius spent some time in the tank, but called, and tapped the table and mucked when Matonis showed 7♠7♦ for the turned set of sevens.
The €555 NLH Championship Final Table is underway at Olympic Voodoo Casino. With 94 entries in the books and a €44,650 prize pool, the field has been trimmed to nine players, and one of them will walk away with €13,115, the largest first-place prize awarded so far at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition. Mantas Bagočius leads with 725,000, more than the next two stacks combined. Tomas Dailidonis is in immediate danger with just 24,000, barely four big blinds.

The Final Nine
Mantas Bagočius – 725,000: The big stack and the most decorated player in the field. Won the Kings of Vilnius €1,100 Main Event in November 2025 for €58,130 from 327 entries after a marathon 10-hour final day. One of Lithuania’s most prominent online MTT players. Enters the final table with nearly double the second-place stack.
Ģirts Niedrītis – 516,000: The deepest live tournament run of Niedrītis’s recorded career. An OlyBet regular from Latvia, he built his stack late in the day with back-to-back eliminations inside a single level. Everything from here is a new benchmark.
Egidijus Matonis
Egidijus Matonis – 380,000: The form player in the field. Led the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn €1,500 Main Event final table chip counts before finishing 5th for €49,300 after four knockouts on Day 3. Active across the Lithuanian circuit throughout 2026.
Dāvis Modāns – 369,000: The most internationally active player at the table. Finished 9th in the 2025 WSOP $5,000 Mystery Bounty PLO for $33,280 and 6th at the Battle of Malta 2025 for €48,450. Won the €250 PLO4/PLO5 Progressive Bounty at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Spring Edition. Just returned to Riga after making the trip to the Diamond Poker Series in Tallinn last week.
Lasse Melby – 379,000: The only non-Baltic player at the table, based in Nybergsund, Norway. $51,576 in confirmed live earnings, best cash $8,569. A regular on the Baltic festival circuit with a 7th-place finish in the Festival Weekend Tallinn TORSES €555 Mixed Games Main Event in July 2026.
Jari Mahonen – 121,000: Twenty big blinds. The Finnish player reached the final nine despite a short stack that will demand early action. Needs a double quickly to stay relevant.
Jurgis Beinoras – 150,000: Won the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event in May for €24,995 after a deal from 121 entries. Already put a cooler on chip leader Matonis during the final day. With 25 big blinds and a title on the board this year, Beinoras knows how to close.
Ēriks Krūmiņš – 156,000: Two WSOPC gold rings: the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn €250 NLH Opening Event for €31,620 from 788 entries and the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn €350 Online Ring Event for €11,162. Led the final 10 in the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo AE Main Event before finishing 5th for €9,650. $168,093 in total live earnings. Short but dangerous, the deepest tournament pedigree at this table by some distance.
Eriks Krumins
Tomas Dailidonis – 24,000: Four big blinds. Dalidonis has been a consistent presence at Lithuanian OlyBet events throughout 2026, and his place at this final table reflects that, but the math is about as brutal as it gets. Needs a miracle double on the first hand or close to it.
Payouts
The nine remaining players have all locked up at least €1,360 with their eyes on the trophy and the €13,115 top prize. Latvia’s Patriks Svinka finished 11th for €1,170, and Estonia’s Hendrik Uibo followed him to the rail in 10th for the same amount.

Hendrik Uibo was all-in for 93,000 and at risk against Mantas Bagocius in a small blind versus button spot, after Uibo three-bet jammed over an open from Bagocius.
Hendrik Uibo: 8♠8♣ Mantas Bagocius: A♠K♣
It was a fair fight, and Uibo looked in amazing shape after he flopped a set on A♣J♦8♣, while Bagocius hit top pair.
However Bagocius went runner-runner on the 10♥ turn and Q♠ river to hit the broadway straight, to the disbelief of both Uibo and the table.
With 72,000 in the middle on a flop of Q♥9♥9♣, Patriks Svinka led out with a bet of 25,000 from the small blind, and was met with a raise from Mantas Bagocius covering Svinka’s total stack of 110,000.
After a brief spell in the tank, Svinka called.
Patriks Svinka: A♥J♥ Mantas Bagocius: Q♠J♠
It was the nut flush draw versus two pair, but Svinka bricked the 6♦9♦ runout.
Aroun 105,000 had made its way into the middle on a completed board of 10♦9♠5♠7♥2♣, in a hand between Jurgis Beinoras under the gun and Patriks Svinka on the button.
Beinoras check-called a bet of 55,000 from Svinka after some thought, and tapped the table and promptly mucked when Svinka showed J♥8♣ for the turned straight.
Patriks Svinka – 292,000 Jurgis Beinoras – 245,000
With 29,000 in the middle on a flop of J♦5♣5♦, in a hand between Hendrik Uibo in the small blind and Davis Modans under the gun, Uibo check-raised to 20,000 versus a bet of 7,000 from Modans.
Modans called to see the 8♠ turn, where he called a further bet of 35,000 from Uibo.
The 6♥ river completed the board, and Uibo checked to his opponent. Modans quickly slid out a bet of 43,000, sending Uibo deep into thought.
“Lets think this through”, mused Uibo, staring at the board and his opponent. After about a minute he said “Sorry guys, I don’t know, I need a bit more time.”
After around 20 more seconds Uibo flicked in calling chips, and mucked when Modans tabled K♥J♠ for two pair.
Around 68,000 was in the middle on a completed board of Q♠8♦6♠Q♥2♥, in a hand between Davis Modans under the gun and Patriks Svinka in the big blind.
Svinka led out with a bet of 35,000, and after some time in the tank, Modans folded.
Modans had earlier claimed the knockout of Dimitrijs Tarbejevs after his tens held in a flip against his opponent’s ace-queen, while Gatis Reigass has also hit the rail.
Liutauras Armanavicius was getting up out of his chair looking stunned, and his final 89,000 was being passed to Girts Niedritis, after he came off on the wrong end of a nuts versus second nuts cooler.
On a board of J♥9♥6♥2♠5♦, the chips hit the middle, and Armanavicius confidently tabled K♥5♥ for the second nut flush, but Niedritis had A♥8♥ for the nuts.
Egidijus Matonis has bounced straight back from the cooler with Beinoras to double via Davis Modans.
With 46,000 in the middle by the turn on a board of 10♠9♦3♠7♦, Modans checked to Matonis, who fired out a bet of 43,000.
Modans responded with a check-jam with the covering stack, sending Matonis into the tank. He didn’t appear to like it, but Matonis made the call for his 95,000 total stack after about 40 seconds.
Egidijus Matonis: A♣10♣ Davis Modans: J♠10♦
It was top pair versus top pair, and Matonis had the best of it, although Modans had a gutshot.
The 7♠ river was a brick, sending Matonis the double-up. “Nice hand”, acknowledged Modans as he counted out his bill.
Jurgis Beinoras was sweeping in a full double-up after he inflicted a set-over-set cooler on Egidijus Matonis, Beinoras holding pocket kings and Matonis having pocket fours.
Jurgis Beinoras – 305,000 Egidijus Matonis – 130,000
In a battle of the blinds, around 55,000 had made its way into the middle on a completed board of A♣9♠7♠4♣7♥, and Dmitrijs Tarbejevs check-called a bet of 22,000 from Jurgis Beinoras.
Beinoras tabled A♥6♠ for two pair, and Tarbejevs mucked.
Jurgis Beinoras – 188,000 Dmitrijs Tarbejevs – 100,000
Two of the Baltic’s finest have entered before the close of late registration, in the form of Kings of Vilnius Main Event winner Mantas Bagocius and Kings of Tallinn Main Event runner-up Matiss Celmins .
After jamming the river over a lead from Eriks Krumins in a big pot, and getting a fold, Davis Modans is the only player above the 300,000 mark at the first break, with the top counts as follows:
Davis Modans – 325,000 Tomas Bulksas – 272,000 Hendrik Uibo – 240,000 Eriks Krumins – 205,000 Lasse Melby – 200,000
Late registration closes before the start of the next level.
Cards were on their backs and stacks were in the middle, with Martins Poritis and Kristaps Vismanis all-in for 9,500 and 110,000 respectively, and at risk against Davis Modans in a three-way all-in scenario.
Martins Poritis: A♣Q♣ Kristaps Vismanis: 7♥7♠ Davis Modans: Q♦Q♠
Modans looked in great shape to send two opponents to the rail, and there were no surprises on the 9♦8♦2♥5♦J♣ runout.
Roberts Krigers raised to 6,000 from the small blind, and Tomas Bulksas defended.
On the 6♥6♦2♥ flop, Krigers continued with a bet of 7,000, which failed to shake off Bulksas.
The 3♣ turn was knuckled to the 7♦ river, where Krigers slid out a bet of 21,000. Bulksas responded with a raise to 65,000, sending Krigers, with 25,500 behind, into the tank.
After around 90 seconds, Krigers sighed and sent his cards to the muck, and Bulksas tabled A♠A♥ as he raked in the pot.
poker.pro is delighted to be back in the historic Latvian capital of Riga to provide extensive coverage of the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition.
The festival is in full flow at Olympic Voodoo Casino, with five champions already crowned, and poker.pro will be on the floor covering all the action for the remainder of the festival as attention turns to the showpiece events, the €555 NLH Championship and the €1,100 Main Event.
Two starting flights of the €555 NLH Championship have already been completed, and we pick up the action from the start of Day 2, which kicks off at noon today, September 23. The starting flights attracted a total of 75 entries, creating a €35,625 prize pool, with 22 players managing to negotiate twelve 40-minute levels to progress to Day 2.
Those figures will rise further, with registration remaining open until the start of Level 15, while players who register on Day 2 will sit down to a 30,000 starting stack, with the clock set to 40-minute levels.
The Day 2 qualifiers are led by Tomas Bulkšas of Lithuania (225,000), with Gatis Reigass (212,000) and Ēriks Krūmiņš (141,500), both of Latvia, his closest challengers, and the leaderboard featuring plenty of big names from the Baltic poker scene.
Bulkšas is hunting his third OlyBet trophy, while Reigass is targeting his second win of the festival, after going wire-to-wire in the €250 NLH Opener to secure a €5,638 payday.
Gatis Reigass
Krumins is also no stranger to OlyBet success, with two victories at previous Showdown festivals in Riga among his five recorded tournament wins, which include two WSOP Circuit Tallinn gold rings, namely the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn €250 NLH Opening Event for €31,620 and the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn €350 Online Ring Event for €11,162.
Normunds Rumba of Latvia claimed the trophy in the equivalent event in the Spring Edition, overcoming a 181-entry field to claim the first-place prize of €19,435, after defeating fellow countryman Vladislavs Petrovs heads-up.

Day 3 of the OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition crowned two more champions at Olympic Voodoo Casino. Latvia’s Toms Čivčs came from just behind overnight leader Dāvis Daugaviņš to win the €350 NLH Deepstack Progressive Bounty, a 59-entry field. It’s his second OlyBet-powered title of the summer after he won a side event at the WSOP Circuit Tallinn in July. In the €200 PLO4/PLO5, Oskars Rolovs lifted the trophy after a three-way deal with Denmark’s Peter Due and Finland’s Joonas Moilanen, although Due took the biggest payday at €2,800.
The €555 NLH Championship also got underway, and Lithuania’s Tomas Bulkšas bagged a commanding 225,000 chips to lead the nine Day 1A survivors, well ahead of Latvia’s Ēriks Krūmiņš on 141,500. Day 1B runs today, and the combined field returns on Wednesday, September 23, for the Final Day, which poker.pro will cover live on-site. Get the full results, the final table payouts, and today’s schedule here.

Cards were on their backs and stacks were in the middle, with Roberts Krigers all-in for 48,500 and at risk against Eriks Krumins.
Roberts Krigers: J♥J♣ Eriks Krumins: K♦K♣
Krigers was crushed, but he found a two-outer on the A♠Q♦J♠ flop.
The 10♦ rolled off on the turn to give Krumins the broadway straight, but it was followed by the Q♥ river to give Krigers the full house, to gasps of shock from the table.
Krigers clapped his hands and shouted “Yes!”, almost more in disbelief than celebration, and offered his condolences to Krumins when he sat back down, who accepted them graciously.
Jens Jensen was sweeping in a big pot of around 60,000, after he made a set with 8♠8♥ on a board of K♠8♦5♣3♦K♣ against Justas Vaiciulionis, whose cards had already been swept away.
Level 14 is underway, representing the last level of late registration.
Jens Jensen opened to 3,000 from the hijack, and received a call from Roberts Krigers on the button, before Eriks Krumins produced a three-bet to 17,500 from the small blind.
Justas Vaiciulionis was in the big blind, and he took some time for thought before four-bet jamming for around 101,000, leading to snap-folds from all of his opponents.
A pot of 48,000 had brewed by the river on a board of 9♦6♥3♠5♦7♠, in a button versus big blind spot between Baris Borsa and Egidijus Matonis.
Matonis checked, and Borsa fired out a bet of 22,000, sending Matonis into the tank.
Matonis, who had 37,500 behind, spent at least three minutes counting out his stack, peering at the board, and giving his opponent periodic sideway glances. Eventually he said “I don’t know what to do”, and folded.
Ryhor Karapanau opened to 3,000 from middle position, and was met with a three-bet to 9,500 from Mantas Bagocius in the cutoff.
Vladislavs Petrovs was in the small blind, and he produced a cold four-bet to 20,000 from the small blind. Karapanau quickly folded, and after some thought, Bagocius followed suit.
After the completion of two starting flights, a total of 23 players have qualified for Day 2 of the €1,100 Main Event at the 2026 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Autumn Edition, led by French player Baptiste Caim (211,500), who is closely followed by Ryhor Karapanau of Belarus (178,500) and Nikita Zarovs of Latvia (156,500).
Day 2 gets underway at 2 p.m. on September 26. The clock will be increased to 60-minute levels, and late registration remains open until the start of Level 15, with Day 2 entrants sitting down to a 40,000 starting stack.
Caim has a remarkable record in the Baltics, bagging four trophies in various OlyBet events since October 2025 alongside ten final table appearances, and will be a tough player to stop.
Karapanau boasts recorded cashes of almost $250,000, his biggest score being a 30th-place finish at EPT Barcelona in 2022, and his sole live tournament win came in the OlyBet Christmas Series in Riga in 2025.
Ryhor Karapanau
Zarovs finished third in the Main Event of the Olybet Showdown Voodoo Spring Edition in March this year, banking his biggest recorded score of €16,810, and will no doubt be desperate to turn bronze into gold this time around.
€1,100 Main Event Start of Day 2 Top Ten Counts

Day 2 kicks off at 2 p.m. on September 26, and late registration remains open until the start of Level 15, while the final day is scheduled for noon on September 27.
poker.pro will be on the floor from the start of play, while we will also bring you our daily recap of the side event highlights, so stay tuned!
In the last hand of the day, Roberts Krigers opened to 2,500 from the cutoff, and received a call from Vladislavs Petrovs on the button, before Baris Borsa produced a three-bet to 6,000 from the big blind.
Both of his opponents called to see the A♦6♠2♣ flop. Borsa continued with a bet of 6,200, and while Krigers folded, Petrovs called.
The 6♣ turn was checked to the 2♦ river, where Borsa check-folded versus a bet of 25,000 from Petrovs.
Play has now concluded in Day 1c, with 19 players joining the four qualifiers from Day 1b. Stay tuned for updated chip counts.
Day 2 kicks off at 2 p.m. on September 26, with late registration remaining open until the start of Level 15.
Roberts Krigers opened to 2,500 from early position, and received calls from Ryhor Karapanau in the cutoff and Saku Naesman in the big blind.
Action was checked to Karapanau on the 6♥5♣2♥ flop, who fired out a bet of 3,700.
Only Naesman called to see the J♠ turn, where he checked to his opponent. Karapanau fired out a bet of 11,000, and Naesman responded with a check-jam to 47,200.
Karapanau spent a bit of time in the tank, but made the call. As soon as he did, Naesman put his head in his hands, and chucked his cards towards the muck.
As it was an all-in, they were retrieved and tabled.
Saku Naesman: 10♣7♥ Ryhor Karapanau: K♣J♣
Naesman was drawing stone dead against Karapanau’s top pair, and the 10♠ river completed the board, sending Karapanau a huge pot and vaulting him to the top of the counts.
There was 38,000 in the middle on a completed board of 10♥9♥6♥4♦J♦ in a hand between Baptiste Caim in the cutoff and Tomas Dailidonis in the small blind.
Dailidonis led out with a bet of 20,000, and Caim was in the tank.
After a while he shook his head, and said “You’ll show if I fold?” Dailidonis shrugged and said “One.”
He may have been better keeping quiet, as Caim immediately called, and Dailidonis said “Good call”, and mucked his hand, Caim taking the pot without having to show his cards.
Caim now appears to be the chip leader, while Dailidonis’ previously huge stack has dwindled significantly.
Tomas Bulksas opened to 2,500 from early position, and received calls from Baptiste Caim in the cutoff, Jan Jensen on the button, and Paulius Zakas in the big blind.
The 7♦6♥3♣ flpp was checked through to the Q♦ turn, where action was checked to Bulksas, who fired out a bet of 3,200.
Caim responded with a raise to 12,200, and both Jensen and Zakas got out of the way.
Bulksas called however to see the 3♠ river, where he checked, and was faced with a bet of 16,600 from Caim.
Bulksas spent a bit of time in the tank before he made the call, and he tapped the table and mucked when Caim flipped over 7♣7♥ for a full house.
Justas Vaiciulionis has jumped straight back in, and here opened to 2,500 under the gun, receiving calls from Tomas Bulksas in the next seat and Mariam Bashir in the big blind.
The A♥9♣3♦ flop was checked to the Q♠ turn, where action was checked to Vaiciulionis.
He fired out a bet of 4,500, and Bulksas called, before Bashir check-jammed for 15,600.
Both of her opponents called to see the 3♣ river. Vaiciulionis checked to Bulksas, who slid out a bet of 17,500. Vaiciulionis hated the spot he found himself in, and after around 90 seconds of contemplation, flashed the A♠ as he folded.
Bashir confidently tabled A♣3♥ for the full house, but Bulksas had a better one with 9♠9♣ in a brutal hand.
It took Bashir a moment to realize she was beaten, and she offered good luck to the table as she departed.
The all-in triangle was in front of Egidijus Matonis who was playing 17,300, and calling chips were in front of Darius Narmontas, while Mantas Bagocius had 48,000 in front of him, with Narmontas in the tank.
Narmontas took a bit of time before folding, leaving Matonis and Bagocius to fight it out.
Egidijus Matonis: A♠K♣ Mantas Bagocius: K♠K♣
Matonis looked in trouble, but the ace was in the window on the A♥7♥4♦ flop, and Bagocius could not find a one-outer on the remaining 3♣10♥ runout.
Kaspars Mallons opened to 2,000 under the gun, and received calls from Jens Jensen on the button and Mariam Bashir in the big blind.
Action was checked to Mallons on the K♠7♥7♣ flop, who continued with a bet of 2,500. Jensen responded with a raise to 6,000. Bashir folded, and Mallons called.
The 3♠ turn was checked to the Q♦ river, where Mallons led out with a bet of 8,500, leading to a swift fold from Jensen.
With around 43,000 in the middle on a board of K♠Q♦4♥3♦4♠, Saku Naesman was all-in from the big blind, and Roberts Krigers was in the blender in early position.
Krigers had around 19,000 behind, and after about 90 seconds, sent his cards to the muck.
“Show the bluff!” asked a table mate, and Krigers said “No, I want to sleep tonight!”
Naesman smiled and shook his head, and suggested it was not a bluff while not revealing his holding.
Tomas Dailidonis and Saku Naesman, two of the biggest stacks in the tournament, are seated together at Table 6, and a battle of the blinds quickly got out of hand, to the benefit of Dailidonis.
Dailidonis raised to 2,700 from the small blind, and Naesman responded with an almost instant three-bet to 7,500.
Dailidonis quickly four-bet to 21,000, and almost before his chips hit the middle, Naesman had announced “All-in” with the covering stack.
Dailidonis was playing 88,700 total, over 100 big blinds, and snap-called. Naesman started giggling, and Dailidonis said “I don’t have much.”
Tomas Dailidonis: A♠K♠ Saku Naesman: A♥10♣
Naesman was crushed, and there was no miracle escape on the J♥8♠6♥7♠Q♥ runout, despite picking up additional outs on the turn, sending a huge pot to Dailidonis.
“F*ck around and find out”, quipped table mate Matti Lasanen.
With 5,400 in the middle on a board of Q♥J♥2♦9♥, Baptiste Caim led out with a bet of 2,200 from the small blind, and was met with a raise to 6,600 from Mariam Bashir in the big blind.
Caim called to see the J♦ river, which was checked through, much to Caim’s disappointment.
He tabled Q♠J♠ for the full house, and Bashir had found a good check back with 10♥9♥ for the flush.
Kaspars Renga opened to 1,300 from early position, and received a call from Arturas Dauksevic on the button, before Aigars Gibuzis produced a three-bet to 3,600 from the big blind.
Both of his opponents called to see the Q♣5♠2♦ flop, where action was checked to Renga, who slid out a bet of 3,600. Dauksevic folded, but Gibuzis called.
The 10♣ hit on the turn, and Gibuzis checked again. Renga fired out a bet of 10,600, sending Gibuzis into the tank.
After asking to see his opponent’s stack, and fiddling with his chips for a while, Gibuzis folded.
The players are about to be sent on their second 15-minute break of the day.
