2026 Summer Super Stack – Event #13: $600 PLO

The final three players decided to chop up the prizes, roughly based on ICM. Mike Malm got a bit more than the ICM 3rd, for a score of $10k. Ali Khani got $10,673, while chip leader Dylan Skiffington (whose name I was spelling wrong earlier, with a u instead of an i) took an even $11k for the win.

Ali Khani raised the button to 27k, and both Dylan Payne and Mike Malm called from the blinds. Payne fired 40k on the Q♠6♥7♣ flop, Malm folded, and Khani raised to 175k, enough to force Payne all-in.

He called it off with K♥Q♦J♥9♥ against Q♥Q♣7♠5♣ for Khani. 10♣3♥ on the runout left Khani’s set of queens in front, and Payne was off to collect $5,027 for 4th place.

It’s been very quick action on the final table so far, and most of the chips since the last break have moved to Dylan Skuffington’s stack. He just added a few more after sending Larry Chernenkoff out in 5th place.

Gerry Edwards was on the short stack, and got the rest of it in when he woke up with ace-king. Big stack Dylan Skuffington called off with diamonds, and hit a pair of nines to take down the pot and send Edwards to the rail in 6th place.

Dylan Skuffington is the leader right now with about 1 million in play. Ali Khani looks to be second with about 700k. That leaves about 1.2k for the other four combined.

I was grabbing some food when Peter Darlington hit the rail for 7th place tonight. It’s clearly an action table, however, since Darlington was the big stack at the last break.

I missed the action while writing the previous post, but Michael Wo was on fumes at the break, and he’d already gone through a round of blinds to dilute those fumes even more.

After a call from Larry Chernenkoff on the hijack, Gerry Edwards called the button, and Peter Darlinton and Dylan Payne called from the blinds. It checked around to Edwards on the 4♠7♠10♦ flop, and he potted to 40k.

Darlinton folded the small before Payne repotted to 160k. Chernenkoff mucked, and Edwards hit the tank as a call would put him all in. He eventually called for his tournament life, and Payne was on a pair of tens with a spade draw with A♠10♠6♣2♠ against two pair for Edwards with A♦10♥9♥7♦.

[invalid notations] on the runout gave Payne two pair as well, but Edwards still pipped him for the win.

The PLO game is already in the money, with 10 players left. They are still on two tables, with the PLO final table coming at 9 players after the next exlimination.

They got to the bubble very quickly in the PLO game tonight. The clock is now paused, and they’ve already played a few hands on the bubble. 5:54 remains in Level 15, and the clock will resume normally after the next elimination.

The prizes are posted, and 10 players will be getting a piece of $50,274 in prizes later tonight. The winner will be taking more than $14k, with 2nd place also getting a 5-figure score.

The field is already down to 12 players remaining, so they are one away from the bubble, and 2 off the money.

The registration desk is closed for the PLO game, and the final total was 98. That is still to be confirmed by the prizes, but if it holds, it will mean 10 players sharing in a bit more than $50k at the end of tonight. The winner will be getting well over $10k for this game.

About 10 minutes remain in Level 12, with the entries closing at the end of the break following this level. It looks like this will be a field of 90+, but it seems like it’l end short of 100.

The PLO prizes are nearing $40k, with Level 10 about to finish. There are two more levels of poker, plus a 15-minute break, before the reg-desk closes for this game, and it’s looking like the field could flirt with 100 entries or more.

With about 5 minutes to play until the next break, the PLO field is at 60 entries, for more than $30k in prizes. Entries are open for another 4 levels following this break, so this field could break 80 entries before it closes.

The PLO prizes are over $25k with 49 entries on the board. Level 6 has about 5 minutes to play, with more than 3 hours remaining in entries for this game.

About 20 minutes remain in Level 5, with the field at 39 entries. That puts the prizes just over $20k, but there are still 4 hours left to enter today’s game, so I expect the entries to push past 60 at least before it closes.

The PLO game is at 33 entries with about 12 minutes to play in Level 4. They’ll take their first break of the day following this level, with entries open for about another 5 hours.

The PLO game is up to 27 entries, for $13,851 in prizes. Level 2 has about 5 minutes to play.

Event #13: $600 PLO ($540 + $60)

The side game on Wednesday is the $600 PLO, the biggest 4-card game of this series. The action starts at 2 PM on Wednesday, with entries open for 12 levels of poker. Including breaks, that will put the end of entries at about 8:45 PM.

Players sit down with 30k in chips for 30-minute levels. Once entries close at the start of Level 13, play will continue until a winner is crowned late in the evening.

In the Spring of this year, Julius Roque took down Kurtis Ruhl heads-up for the $600 PLO crown. The game got 73 entries for more than $37k in prizes. Last Summer, there was no $600 PLO, but instead it was an $800 PLO Megastack. BC’s Homan Mohammadi was the last player standing in this one. There were 47 entries in that game for prizes of about $32k.

Expectations for this Summer’s game should put the field somewhere between 70 & 80 entries.
