The first multi-day game kicks off at noon on Friday with Day 1a of Event #3. Day 1b will run on Saturday, with the top 12.5% from each starting flight moving on to the money play on Sunday’s Day 2.
The Day 1 action starts at noon, and players sit down with 30k in chips. Blinds are 40 minutes long throughout this game, though they drop to 20 minutes heads-up. After that, Day 1 play continues until they hit 12.5% of the starting field, no matter how long it takes.
This past July, it was Eric Wasylenko who took this one down over a field of 221 entries for a total of almost $126k in prizes. Last September in the 12025 PPT #4, David Boyer beat out 209 entries for his share of almost $120k.
