The Friday night side game, playing out alongside Day 1a of the Main Event, is the PLO Bounty. $100 of the $340 goes to the bounty, with $200 going to payouts, with $40 as the reg fee.
The action starts at 7 PM, and players get 25k to start. Entries are open for 9 levels, which will put the final chance to buy in at about 10:30 PM. After that, it will be a race to the winner before the end of the night.
Given the late start, this could be a late finish. With blinds at 20 minutes, it should be a bit of a turbo, and the PLO Bounty format does tend to drive action, so it may run quickly, but players should expect at least a 3 AM finish, if not later.
Last Summer, Mike Malm took down this game over 110 entries for prizes of $31,350 ($20,350 prizes, $11,000 bounties). Meanwhile, this past Spring it was Haven Taylor with all the chips at the end, after she went through the field of 126 entries for the biggest share of $35,910 ($23,310 prizes, $12,600 bounties) in prizes.
