The Player of the Series race is coming down to the wire once again. Ali Razzaq is sitting second in chips in the Main Event right now, and if he can get into the top two spots, he’ll jump ahead of the current leader Benny Sarnelli.
Sarnelli surged into the PoS lead last night on the back of his 5th cash in the series, 3rd place in the $340 NLH. He hasn’t won a trophy this time around, but consistent cashing in about 1/3rd of the games in the series has pushed him to the top.
He’s in action across the casino in the Last Chance event today, so he’s still battling for cash #6, and if he can score 6th or better in the final trophy event today, he should have it locked up no matter what anyone else does.
Stefan Maloney, Bash Ramahi, Cam Stewart, and Pete Fylyma are among the other players with an outside chance at the title depending on the results of the Last Chance, but they all have to run pretty much perfect to take it down.
