There are a few things poker players value more than WSOP Circuit Rings. Ever since the first-ever WSOP Circuit event back in 2005, it has established itself as one of the most prestigious live poker tours of all time. No matter which stop on the tour, a big turnout is always to be expected; many players are joining the determined chase for eternal poker glory.
When it comes to the European live poker scene, Tallinn is often mentioned as one of the best cities for major events. Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel, in particular, have acted as host for some of the biggest and most prestigious events in Northern Europe, such as OlyBet’s flagship tournament, Kings of Tallinn.
Now, it’s soon time again for Estonia’s number one poker venue to roll out the red carpet, and, for the fourth year in a row, players from all over the world will travel to Tallinn and compete for prestigious rings. The schedule for the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn has now been released, and all things considered, this 11-day poker festival is destined to be one of the highlights of the 2026 poker calendar.
The Tale of the 12 Rings
That’s right, ladies and gentlemen; for the fourth consecutive year, WSOP Circuit is returning to the Estonian Capital. OlyBet Tournament Director Teresa Nousainen, WSOP Circuit Tournament Director Andy Tillman, and their respective crews will ensure that all players traveling to Tallinn this summer have a live poker experience like never before.

The 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn will be held July 23-August 2 at the Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. The tournament schedule is fresh off the press, and to call it “vast and exciting” would be an understatement. Truth to be told, there are no words in the English dictionary that can make the schedule justice. With 72 unique events (including satellites), there won’t be a dull moment at the majestic venue.
Out of the 72 events, 12 of them are prestigious WSOP Circuit Ring Events. The undisputed star of the show is, naturally, the €1,500 Main Event. With a €1,000,000 guarantee, the Main Event is destined to be one of the most prestigious tournaments in Europe this year. There are five starting-day flights available; however, late registration will also be open during the first two hours (and 20 minutes) of Day 2. Day 1a kicks off on Tuesday, July 28, and a winner will be crowned after Day 4 wraps up on August 2, the final day of the whole festival. It’s impossible not to reminisce about last year’s edition, when Sweden’s Jenny Westerlund claimed a historic win, eliminating her final two opponents in the same hand and claiming the €200,200 first-place payout, the title, and the prestigious ring.

The “Little Brother” of the Main Event, the €350 Mini Main Event, is the tournament to kick off the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn on July 27. For this event, there are four starting-day flights, and each one of them will be played down to 15% of the field. Those who survive will advance to Day 2 (July 26), which will play down to the final table. The last man/woman standing on July 27 will then claim the first ring of the festival. Last year, Sweden’s Simon Hesserud Persson put all of his poker skills on full display to claim the win, which saw him earn €45,700.

History indicates that Ring Event number three, the €555 NLH Championship, will be one of the most popular tournaments. This event has stood the test of time and proved to be a very appealing tournament. Take last year, for example, when the tournament attracted 744 entries, creating a whopping €353,400 prize pool. Finland’s Toni Niinivaara emerged victorious, taking home a €72,928 alongside the trophy. The tournament will be played over the course of three days, with three starting-day flights for all brave warriors to tamper in.

This Swedish poker.pro journalist might be a tad biased in selecting to highlight the €555 Sviten, which is the Ring Event number nine. On the other hand, almost everyone who has played Sviten admits that it’s their favorite game, and it’s understandable; the Five-Card Draw/PLO5 hybrid of a game offers action that is hard to find in any other discipline, and kudos to OlyBet and WSOP for putting it on the Tallinn schedule, considering how popular the game is in the adjacent countries. The tournament returns after last year, when Sviten was played for the first time ever as a certified Ring Event. It still has the record of the biggest Sviten tournament ever in terms of prize pool (€53,675); the biggest slice of the cake (€14,035) went to Jarkko Suokas, who defeated Swedish Sviten legend Nicklas Nordblom heads-up. Perhaps 2026 will be the year the WSOP Circuit Sviten ring comes “home” to Sweden, the country where the game was invented by Anders “Bengan” Bengtsson.

Mixed Games enthusiasts have not been forgotten, and they will also have the opportunity to chase the sought-after rings. Perhaps, the €1,100 8-Game could be viewed as some kind of Mixed Games Main Event during the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. The popularity of 8-Game is on the rise; more and more people are discovering the wonderful world of Mixed Games in particular. Day 1 will be played on what may prove to be the busiest day of the festival, July 29; also scheduled that day is the €5,000 NLH (Ring Event number 7), and the aforementioned Sviten.
Other WSOP Circuit Ring Events on the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn schedule include the €350 NLH Queens, the €1,100 PLO4/5, the €350 OlyBet Online Ring Event, and more. Just by browsing the schedule above, it becomes clear that there will be a lot of glory to fight for at the oval, felted tables; this poker.pro journalist gets goosebumps just by glancing at the 12-course menu.

While the Ring Events might be the 12 most intriguing tournaments, there are, as previously stated, there are 60 more (side) events on the schedule. This is really where the diversification of the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn shines through; Open-Face Chinese, Baducey, PLO4/5 Bomb Pots, and T.O.R.S.E.S. are a few of the more niche disciplines on the schedule. One side event in particular has proven very popular (during the 2026 Kings of Tallinn, for example): the €200 Five-Card Mix. It consists of Sviten, PLO5, and Five-Card Triple Draw (Button round each), and as is often the case when there are five cards, the action won’t be anything but immense.
There is, of course, also a swarm of various Texas NLH and PLO side events, such as the €200 NLH, the €350 PLO5, and the €200 NLH WSOP Circuit Tallinn Special (which will feature surprise bounty envelopes on certain selected guests and celebrities participating in the tournament). One last tournament that deserves to be dissected is the €750 NLH Progressive Bounty & Mystery Bounty. From the get-go, the tournament will feature €200 Progressive Bounties, and when players reach the money, the Mystery Bounty phase will also kick in. It’s very rare to see this format in tournament poker, but one must admit, it’s exciting.
