2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Wraps Up in Style

It’s a wrap on another fantastic 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. Across Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park, 12 coveted gold rings were handed out and more than 60 players lifted trophies in the side events, once again proving why this festival is Northern Europe’s biggest stop on the poker calendar.

The headline story, of course, was Julian Selinger’s win in the record-breaking Main Event for €210,000. However, this wrap-up turns the spotlight on the other Ring Events that concluded over the weekend: Sviten, Mystery Bounty, an online ring, and the festival-closing €3,000 NLH.

Burger Denies the Nordics to Win Ring Event #9: €555 Sviten

Ring Event #9 €555 Sviten kicked off with Day 1 on Friday and drew 130 entries to what might be Northern Europe’s darling game. The €61,750 prize pool set the stage for 20 players to return on Saturday and settle who would take home €15,510, a gold Circuit ring, a WSOP Paradise Bahamas package, plus the bragging rights as the best in the world at Sviten.

In the end, it was the Netherlands’ Jelco Burger who left the entire Nordic and Baltic contingent behind, defeating Sweden’s Nicklas “Rullekung” Nordblom heads-up for the ring. It was another heartbreak for the Swede, who found himself in the Sviten heads-up for the second year running. Last year, he had to shake hands with Finland’s Jarkko Suokas, who claimed the historic first-ever WSOP Circuit ring awarded in the event’s debut. Nordblom still walked away with €10,280 for the runner-up finish.

Lapinskas Wins All-Lithuanian Battle in Ring Event #10: €1,100 NLH Mystery Bounty

Friday also saw the launch of one of the most popular formats in recent years, the €1,100 NLH Mystery Bounty. A field of 279 entries built a €265,050 prize pool, of which €125,550 was in regular payouts and €139,500 in mystery bounties. Forty-two players advanced to Saturday’s final day, where the mystery envelopes came into play, including a golden €25,000 top envelope and a couple more worth €10,000 apiece.

The lucky recipient of the biggest jackpot was Finland’s Jari-Pekka Juhola, who busted in 16th place for a modest €1,260 in regular winnings but walked away a big winner regardless, thanks to the envelope.

Four of the last five players standing were Lithuanian, and fittingly, the final heads-up came down to two of them. Jonas Lapinskas prevailed over Vilius Zabarauskas, pocketing €27,660 along with the gold ring and a WSOP Paradise package. Zabarauskas collected €18,250 for the runner-up finish, with both players also cashing in on their share of mystery bounties along the way.

Grislis Adds an Online Ring to a Big Weekend

While 11 rings were contested live at the Hilton and Olympic Park Casino, one was decided entirely online. Event #12, the €350 WSOPC Tallinn Online Ring Event, carried a €35,000 guarantee and kicked off at 20:00 on Saturday, drawing 130 entries for a €42,900 prize pool shared by the top 17 finishers.

After a little more than 6 hours of play, it was Latvia’s Raivo Grislis who came out on top, securing a €9,403 top prize, the WSOP Circuit ring, and a $5,000 WSOP Paradise Bahamas package. Grislis is no stranger to the live felt either as he also won Friday’s side event, the €750 NLH Mystery Bounty, for €7,560 plus bounties, capping off quite the weekend.

Pedersen Fends Off Sootla to Win the Festival’s Final Ring

The last ring of the festival went to Ring Event #11, the €3,000 NLH. The two-day event kicked off Saturday with 92 entries, pushing the prize pool to €249,872, with 14 players advancing to Sunday’s final day.

Norway’s Patrick Pedersen brought the biggest stack into the final table and held strong throughout, fending off a late surge from Sootla, who briefly grabbed the chip lead of his own, to close out the win. Pedersen collected the ring, €69,372, and (as has become the refrain all festival long), a $5,000 WSOP Paradise Bahamas package.

In the heads-up, he defeated Estonian poker legend and past Circuit ring winner Ranno Sootla, who took home €44,960. Sootla started the day tenth in chips, clawed his way to the overall chip lead during the final table, but ultimately came up just short of a home-soil ring. Finland’s Jussi Mattila rounded out the podium in third for €30,310.

It was Pedersen’s first WSOP Circuit ring, and he arrived at the table on the back of a deep Main Event run, having busted in 39th place for €5,610. Not a bad weekend at all for the Norwegian.

What’s Next in Tallinn

With that, the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn concludes on a high note. Another spectacular festival for the books, but the action at Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park is far from over.

The 2026 Queens of Tallinn returns to the same venues from August 27-30, just four weeks after the Circuit wraps up. Created by OlyBet Tournament Director Teresa Nousainen, the festival has grown into Europe’s premier women-only poker event since its 2023 debut, and this year’s edition brings its biggest headline event yet: the €555 NLH Queens of Tallinn Main Event, an upgrade from last year’s €350 buy-in. The three-day Main Event culminates in a TV-streamed final table on August 30, and the broader schedule features more than 10 events across four days, alongside a revamped Team Challenge and round-the-clock cash games. The ring is already claimed. The queens table is already set. August 27 is not far away.

And in October, the second installment of the popular Kings of Tallinn returns, with the autumn edition running October 9-18 at Olympic Park Casino. Details are still to come, but it’s already worth saving the dates.
