2025 WSOP: Allan Le Outgrinds Shaun Deeb to Win $1,500 Razz Bracelet

Allan Le 2025 WSOP Event #43: $1,500 Razz Bracelet Winner

The 2025 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas rolled on with one of poker’s most polarizing formats. It’s Razz, of course. It’s a game you either hate or love, and 472 players clearly leaned toward the latter, generating a $626,580 prize pool.

Whether Allan Le had strong feelings about Razz before this event is unclear, but he surely loves it now. Le battled through the lowball streets and emerged as the newest Razz champion, claiming his second WSOP bracelet, nine years after his first, which came in the $1,500 Mixed PLO8/Big O event back in 2016.

Le has been one of the most active grinders at the WSOP in recent years, and this marks his seventh cash of the summer and the 91st of his career. His total lifetime earnings now exceed $4.7 million.

To win the bracelet, Le had to overcome one of the toughest opponents in the game, Shaun Deeb. The six-time bracelet winner was looking for number seven and even held the chip lead during the final stages, but couldn’t close it out. For now, the $84,221 second-place prize will have to do. Another accomplished player, Maxx Coleman, also reached the final table but bowed out in fourth.

2025 WSOP Event #43: $1,500 Razz Final Table Recap

Nine players returned to settle who would claim gold in the $1,500 Razz event, with Allan Le leading the way at the final table holding 20 big bets, closely trailed by Clinton Wolcyn with 19. As is often the case with limit formats like Razz, it was still very much anyone’s game, even for the five players starting with single-digit big bet stacks.

Jackson Spencer was the first to fall. He lost a big pot early to Jason Lipiner and soon after committed the rest of his chips against Le. Things started well for Spencer with 6-5-2 against Le’s K-J-8, but in the cruel twist only Razz can deliver, Spencer made a full house while Le cruised to a nine-low. Spencer exited in ninth for $8,877.

MengQi Chen was next. After completing and picking up two callers, he committed his final chips on fourth street. Le and Maxx Coleman checked it down, and it was Coleman’s 7-low that scooped the pot to send Chen packing in eighth for $11,459.

Shaun Deeb then began his push, stealing the chip lead from Le and climbing to over 25 big bets. Le kept pace with the elimination of Gabriel Ramos, who was all-in on his bring-in. Ramos ended up with a full house, and once again, Le’s modest king-low was enough. Ramos settled for seventh and $15,134.

Le continued the momentum by knocking out Jason Lipiner in sixth ($20,438), regaining the chip lead just as Deeb eliminated Jeanne David. David had completed with 8-2-4, while Deeb started with A-6-5. By the end, Deeb made an eight-low, and David bricked out with a high card on seventh, busting in fifth for $28,213.

Wolcyn surged into the lead with four players remaining, but Deeb kept the pressure on and eliminated Maxx Coleman next. All the chips went in on sixth street. Coleman had 8-4-2-9-2-8 and Deeb held A-3-6-K-Q-8. A low card on seventh was all Deeb needed, and the dealer delivered, peeling a seven for an eight-low to end Coleman’s run in fourth for $39,787.

Three-handed play saw all players take turns at the top, but Wolcyn eventually ran out of steam. He got it in on fourth with 6-3-J-8, while Le was ahead with 9-2-T-7. Wolcyn’s board got worse by pairing his jack and picking up two nines, while Le caught clean as you can, low cards to bust Wolcyn in third for $57,296.

Deeb entered heads-up with a nearly 2:1 chip lead and extended it to 3:1, but from there, it was all Le. The second to last hand was peak Razz frustration: Deeb put the majority of his chips showing 5-7-7-7 and made a full house with a five on seventh, while Le showed 4-8-9-Q for a queen-nine low that was somehow still best.

The final hand came right after. Deeb went all-in at the start and ran out 8-6-T-3-K-Q-8 for a queen-low and Le sealed the title with 7-4-9-A-2-6-8, good for a strong seven-low.

Allan Le captured his second WSOP bracelet—and his first in Razz—along with a $126,363 payday. Shaun Deeb, denied bracelet #7, had to settle for $84,221 as runner-up.
