Stecey Diederich, runner-up in Event #5 Heads up was a pretty quick affair tonight. Varan Sidhu had the chip lead going in, but Stacey Diederich wasn’t far behind. They traded small pots for a few hands before both players woke up with gapped hands. Sidhu was suited with seven-nine in spades, while Diederich was best preflop with king-jack off.
Sidhu flopped a nine and turned trips to reverse the hand, however, and send Diederich out in second place for $4,365 while Sidhu bagged another PPT trophy and $6,652.

Players have 9 levels to enter or rebuy, with the final chance to enter this one coming at about 9:50 PM. After that, it will be a race to the trophy. I should be able to catch a lot of the late-game action in this one, but it will depend on how late Day 1b of E3 runs.
