2025 Summer Super Stack – Event #7: $340 1Day Deepstack NLH

The ending of Event #7 was like something out of a movie script tonight. After a four-bet shove from the runner-up Ivanna Yatsiuk, Singh called off her kings with his aces.

The aces held, turning a set for insurance, and Singh had all the chips, and the win. I didn’t get much of a chance to watch this one, but by the time I got to the table when it was five-handed, Singh was already the big leader, and he stayed that way throughout the rest of the night.

This was Singh’s first live win, but will only be his second-best score after his runner-up finish in the May 2023 Circuit’s Big 30 Stack for $12k.

Everyone was looking around for movie cameras when the final hand of the 1Day Deepstack played out tonight. Guneet Singh limped, Ivanna Yatsiuk raised to 100k, Singh made it 315k, Yatsiuk shoved, and Singh snapped it off.

It was the coldest of cold decks with Singh on pocket aces and Yatsiuk on pocket kings. Singh turned a set just for insurance on the board of 5♣Q♠8♠A♠2♦, and Yatsiuk was out in 2nd in a final hand from a movie script.

Guneet Singh shoved and Ivanna Yatsiuk snap-called to set up a race between Singh’s A♦9♦ and pocket fours for Yatsiuk. The board of [invalid notations]8c8hQh7dJc[/pcm] ran clean for the pair, and Ytasiuk doubled to 775k.

Michael Retuya was the 3rd place finisher tonight. I missed the action writing the previous update, but he was very short with only a couple of hundred thousand in front of him. Heads up is now underway between Guneet Singh and Ivanna Yatsiuk, with Singh holding the lead.

In a recent hand, Guneet Singh raised the small blind to 75k and Ivanna Yatsiuk called from the big to see a flop of 2♥9♥2♣. Singh bet 90k and got the call, but when he shoved the 4♦ turn, Yatsiuk got out of the way.

Singh has 2.3 million of the 3.1 million in play.

They are three-handed now in the 1Day Deepstack after Chad Winnick busted in 4th place tonight.

Shortly after I got the pictures taken, Ramaz Haymour busted off of his second final table so far this series. He was 9th in EVent #5 earlier in the week, and just took 5th in this one when he got it in with a suited ace, but ran into a bigger ace-queen for Michael Retuya. The ace-queen held, and Haymour was out in 5th.

They are down to the final five in the 1Day Deepstack game with Level 21 just underway. I’ll grab photos shortly, but with the average stack at a bit more than 30 big blinds, the game could go on for a while.

The winner later tonight should pocket $9,442 and 8 players have cashed out already tonight.

The 1Day field is nearing the money now with 18 players remaining and 13 paid spots. I’m still watching the four-handed final table of Event #3, but it looks like I should make it over to this one for at least some of the money play.

The final field of 125 entries is confirmed, putting the prizes at $35,625. There are 25 players remaining in the game, putting them 12 off the 13 paid spots tonight. Full prizes are detailed under the Payouts tab, but the winner today is set to pocket

Entries are closed on the 1Day Deepstack with the unofficial total at 125 entries. If that number holds, it should mean 13 players taking a piece of more than $35k in prizes. I’ll confirm the numbers when the prizes are posted, but I won’t be able to watch much of this game until Event #3 finishes its final table.

Level 3 has about 10 minutes remaining, and the Event #7 field is up to 71 entries. That puts the prizes at $20,235 with more than 3.5 hours left to get into the game. Entries for this one close at the start of Level 11, which should be at about 6:40 PM.

The 1Day Deepstack game has 64 entries, with about 5 minutes to play in Level 2. That puts the prizes so far at a bit more than $18k and climbing. We are expecting something like 125 entries for this one, so the prizes are likely to double before the end of entries in about 4 hours.

Day 2 of Event #3: $340 Deepstack NLH is the main game on Sunday, but the secondary main is the turbo version of the same game, the 1Day Deepstack. With 25-minute blinds and 25k to start, it’s just a quicker version of Event #3.

The cards go in the air at 2 PM, and players have 10 levels to get into the game. That should put the last chance to enter at 6:40 PM. This game will finish on Sunday, but expect it to be a late one. I’ll mostly be focused on Day 2 of Event #3, but once that finishes, I’ll move over to this one.
