With his elimination of Imran Primohamed in second place, Anwar Kanj is now crowned the winner of the £150 Mini Main Event during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester. He takes home the prestigious title, the coveted trophy, and the £15,500 first-place payout.

Imran Primohamed limped on the Button before Anwar Kanj made it 2,000,000 from the Big Blind. Primohamed decided to pull the trigger; he moved all in for 12,500,000 and was swiftly called by Anwar Kanj.

Primohamed was dominated, and things weren’t exactly looking brighter on the 8♦J♦7♥ flop. “It’s never easy,” Kanj said as the dealer revealed the 3♦ turn. The 5♣ river ultimately sealed the deal, though. Primohamed finished as the runner-up for £10,000, while Kanj became owner of all the chips.

Ten players made it through to Day 3 of the £150 Mini Main Event. Nim Ratta will be the chip leader when Day 3 kicks off at 16:00 tomorrow (Thursday, June 18). Below are the chip counts.

Tournament director Jacobo Marcelletti announced that five more hands would be played before the remaining players would bag and tag. During the very last hand, Kyle Hamilton opened to 250,000. Antony Horn moved all in for roughly 1,400,000 from the Cut-off. Short-stacked Dominic Bedling decided to go all in for 520,000 on the Big Blind. Hamilton folded; Horn and Hamilton tabled their holdings.

Bedling didn’t favor from the Q♥6♦4♥K♣6♥ board. He went out in eleventh, and the 10 survivors bagged their chips. They’ll be reunited with them tomorrow at 16:00.

The dealer revealed the Q♥ turn, and Ratta swiftly moved all in. “I’m not that strong, but I just don’t think you have anything,” Liu tried to get a reaction from Ratta. After some contemplating, Liu ultimately made the call.

The turn was quite a good card for Ratta. Liu improved to a weaker two-pair on the J♦ river; the bigger part of his chips went to Ratta, who’s seeking to become the first-ever female £150 Mini Main Event champion of the PartyPoker Tour. She seem to be the current chip leader.

The 10♠ river was pointless, and Zglavoci was eliminated in seventeenth place for £550.

“I thought I’d try pre-complaining and see if it worked,” Roberts said as he stacked his newly-won chips.

After an initial check from Poleszczuk, Greenough continued for another 80,000 on the 5♣7♠K♥ flop. Both of his opponents made the call, and the dealer revealed the 5♦ turn. This time, action was checked to Kearney, who bet 225,000. After contemplating his decision for a minute or two, Poleszczuk moved all in for 547,000. Greenough swiftly folded, whilst Kearney spent three minutes in the tank before letting his hand go.

This was quite the intriguing fight, seeing as Ryder and Hardisty have some history; during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Madrid, Hardisty taught Ryder how to play Tennessee Hold ‘Em half an hour before the €60 Tennessee Hold ‘Em Seville Championship turned off. Ryder won the tournament, whilst Hardisty finished third.

Hardisty didn’t hit an ace or receive any other help on the 9♥J♦5♥6♦10♠ board. She was eliminated in forty-fourth place for £400, and Ryder extended his chip lead even further. It’s the fifth day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester, and Day 2 of the £150 Mini Main Event will be the star of today’s show. Day 1f, the final starting-day flight of the tournament, is currently ongoing; the flight has scored 118 entries, meaning that 18 will go through to Day 2 (unless more than one player goes out on the bubble).

In other words, 101 players are destined to take their seats in Day 2. The prize pool has landed on an impressive £83,500; it’s safe to say quick work was made of the £50,000 guarantee. Unless someone in Day 1f bags more than 907,000, Henry Owen will begin the Day 2 as the chip leader.
