  • Michael St. Pierre-Porter Wins 3rd Chance with Double Bust

It was a bit of a crazy end to the 3rd Chance tonight, after Michael St. Pierre-Porter bypassed heads-up altogether with a double knockout three ways. Weston Pring shoved about 5 bigs, and St. Pierre-Porter called before Anna Morin shipped in her stack.

St. Pierre-Porter called with an ace and the biggest stack, and once the board was out, his ace-high was best for the trophy.

This was St. Pierre-Porter’s 5th live win, and they’ve all come here on the PPT. He picked up four PPT trophies in 2025, and he’s now added a new 2026 design to his collection. While posing for his winner’s photo, the avid juggler put on a bit of a balancing show with the crystal.

  • St. Pierre-Porter Leads

    Level:21 (10000/20000/20000)
    Entries:3/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:12:50 AM

While I’m not watching this game very closely, I did catch a big confrontation between Michael St. Pierre-Porter and Weston Pring. St. Pierre-Porter shoved on Pring, who called with more, but he was pipped with the smallest ace. St. Pierre-Porter held for a double, and he’s sitting at about 800k now, with Pring in second and Anna Morin on the shorty.

  • Glenn Cymbaluk Out in 4th Place for $1,965

    Level:21 (10000/20000/20000)
    Entries:3/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:12:45 AM
    Glen Cymbaluk

They are three ways in the side game now after Glenn Cymbaluk busted for 4th place tonight. I’m still not watching this game as the PLO is still running.

  • Greg “Greg Goes All In” Liow Out in 5th Place for $1,180

    Level:21 (10000/20000/20000)
    Entries:4/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:12:40 AM
    Greg Liow

Greg “Greg Goes All In” Liow hit the rail for 5th place tonight.

I’m still not watching this one very closely, as the PLO Bounty game is still 5-handed. It’s looking like this game will finish before the PLO, so I may not catch any action over here. I’ll grab a winner’s photo when they are done.

  • Ben Grenier Out in 6th Place for $785

    Level:20 (10000/15000/15000)
    Entries:5/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:12:25 AM
    Ben Grenier

Ben Grenier was celebrating his birthday today, and gave himself a final table for a present. He made it to 6th place tonight, pocketing $785, but I missed the action as I’m not watching this one very closely while the PLO game is still playing out.

  • Money Shots

    Entries:6/69

Rob Lothian was the first player out in the money, scoring $590 for 7th place before I got around to the table for pictures. Below are the rest of the cashing players, playing six-handed.

  • Money Bubble

    Level:18 (5000/10000/10000)
    Entries:8/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:11:35 PM

The 3rd Chance is on the money bubble now, with 8 players left. Level 18 has just begun with blinds at 5k/10k/10k.

  • Final Table Time

    Level:16 (3000/6000/6000)
    Entries:9/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:10:55 PM

They are down to the final table now, but still two off the money. Maddie Sharma was the final table bubble tonight, ending her day in 10th place just off the money.

    Level:15 (2500/5000/5000)
    Entries:11/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:10:30 PM

They are 4 off the money in the side game, with about 5 minutes to play in Level 15. The prizes are now in, and the field is confirmed at 69 entries for prizes of $19,665. The winner will pocket just over $7k, with 7 players sharing in the prizes.

  • Lothian Stacking Big

    Level:12 (1500/2500/2500)
    Entries:21/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:9:15 PM

Ron Lothian looks to be one of the biggest stacks in the game right now, with about 200k in front of him. Weston Pring, Michael St. Pierre-Porter, Dave Howat, Greg “Greg Goes All In” Liow, Ben Grenier, Deven Lane, Nate Habte, Tom T, Brian Wells, Bijon Emmanuel, and Lap Chi Duong are among the other players still alive.

  • 21 Left

    Level:11 (1000/2000/2000)
    Entries:21/69
    Prizes:$41,325 ($23,925 prizes, $17,400 bounties)
    Local Time:9:10 PM

They are down to 21 remaining in the side game, with about 5 minutes to play in Level 11. I’m still waiting to see the prizes to confirm the numbers, but there should be seven paid spots tonight, putting them 14 away from the prizes now.

  • 69 Unofficial Entries

    Level:10 (1000/1500/1500)
    Entries:27/69
    Prizes:$19,665
    Local Time:8:50 PM

Entries are now closed for tonight’s side game, with 69 on the board. That is still unconfirmed, but if it holds, it will mean 7 paid spots sharing $19,665 in prizes later tonight. I’ll confirm the numbers when the prizes are posted shortly.

  • 50 Entries with Just Under an Hour to Enter

    Level:7 (400/800/800)
    Entries:30/50
    Prizes:$14,250
    Local Time:7:35 PM

There are about 50 minutes left to enter the side game tonight, and the field is now at 50 entries. That puts the prizes at $14,250, but I’d expect to see at least 10 more entries before it closes.

The final field here is likely to be between 60 and 70 today, for 7 paid spots and something like $20k in prizes. Among the players in the mix for this one are Antoine Saddleback, Weston Pring, Jo Teliani, DJ Sharma, Lap Chi Duong, Deven Lane, Rob Lothian, Ben Grenier, Krista Tellier, Brian Wells, Nate Habte, Jared Dobson, Mehmet Siginc, Bijon Emmanuel, and Amir Khan.

  • Nearly 50 Entries

    Level:7 (400/800/800)
    Entries:27/43
    Prizes:$12,255
    Local Time:7:20 PM

The entries are picking up a bit in the 3rd Chance NLH today, with the field now up to 43 entries. Just over an hour remains in registration for this one, and I expect to see more than 50 entries before it all shuts down around 8:30 PM.

  • Up to 24 Entries

    Level:3 (200/300/300)
    Entries:21/24
    Prizes:$6,840
    Local Time:6:00 PM

The early action in the 3rd Chance NLH continues to be a bit slow, with just 24 entries on the board in Level 3. I suspect the pace of entries might pick up now that registration is closed on the PLO game, with many players who bust that one moving over here for this game.

Entries for Event #10 are still open for about 2.5 hours, with the desk set to close at 8:30 PM tonight.

  • Slow Start for 3rd Chance

    Level:1 (100/100/100)
    Entries:12/12
    Prizes:$3,420
    Local Time:5:15 PM

The side game for Tuesday is off to a bit of a slow start, with just 12 entries on the board and Level 1 more than halfway finished. That said, the PLO Bounty game is still registering, so entries for this one might pick up a bit after registration closes for the main game and players are no longer able to rebuy for four cards.

  • 3rd Chance NLH is the Tuesday Evening Side

    Date:Mar 3, 5 PM
    Blinds:20 Minutes
    Starting Stack:25k
    Late Entry:9 Levels (~8:30 PM)
    Day 1 Ends:One-Day Event

The 3rd Chance NLH game kicks off at 5 PM on Tuesday evening, with a 25k starting stack and 20-minute blinds. Entries are open for 9 levels of poker, putting the last chance to enter at about 8:30 PM. This is a one-day event that will finish late Tuesday night.

I likely won’t get to watch this one until pretty late in the game, if at all. It’s entirely possible that this game starts and ends while the PLO Big Bounty is still running, and that game will be my main focus on Tuesday. If it ends early enough, I’ll finish the night on this one.
