The Deepstack Hyper is now over, with Josh Myers taking the win. Randy Vecchia ended his day in 3rd place just before Myers and Ryan Cairns made a deal. They chopped the money straight up, with Myers securing the trophy with the biggest stack.

The stacks are pretty short in the Deepstack Hyper now. Aaron Syrenne was the chip leader with almost a million a couple of minutes ago, but that was still less than 20 big blinds. While I missed the action watching the other game, Syrenne went from chip leader to the next player out in just a couple of hands, with Josh Myers collecting most of his chips.

Mark Hutchinson ended his day in 5th place tonight. I’ve just had a look at the remaining stacks, and Aaron Syrenne has a slight lead over Randy Vecchia. Both are playing more than 900k.

The Deepstack Hyper is in the money now, with 7 players left. I’m having some issues uploading photos tonight, however, so for the time being, I won’t be able to post the final table faces. Below is a look at the players in the money, but I’m not watching this game closely as the $560 NLH is in the money as well, so I don’t have a good handle on the stacks here.

The side game is down to 24 players left now, and the action is moving quickly, as expected. It’s looking more and more likely that this game will finish before the main game today, so this will likely get very limited coverage tonight.

I’m not sure how much coverage this game will get. It’s quite possible this game finishes before the main game on Wednesday, and if so, I will likely only be able to report results here. However, if Event #11 finishes early, I’ll move to this one for the rest of the night.
