Date: Feb 26, 5 PM Blinds: 20 Minutes Starting Stack: 25k Late Entry: 9 Levels (~8:30 PM) Day 1 Ends: One-Day Event While the first game of the series has entries restricted to players 50 years of age or older, the full field gets their first shot at a 2026 trophy on Thursday, Feb 26. Event #2 gets going at 5 PM with players sitting down to play 25k to start.
Blinds will be 20 minutes long, and unlimited rebuys are available for the first 9 levels of play. That should mean the last chance to enter comes about 8:30 PM. The one-day event will then play down to a winner before they end for the night, with play likely going until 2 or 3 AM alongside the Seniors final table.
Alek Gillies is handling the reporting on opening day, while I get to play my first live poker of 2026 in the Seniors event. I’ll be on-task starting on Friday, but Alek will be hanging around on a few other days as well to help me out a bit.
