The combined prizes are currently just over $40k, with $23,375 in the prize pool and $17k in the bounty pool. DJ Sharma immediately jumped into this one after he busted Event #3 for 18th place, so Sharma Time is now in effect for the PKO.

PKO Game Plays Alongside Day 2 on Sunday

Event #6: $560 NLH PKO ($300 + $200 + $60)
Date: Mar 1, 2 PM Blinds: 30 Minutes Starting Stack: 25k Late Entry: 8 Levels (~6:45 PM) Day 1 Ends: One-Day Event The side game on Sunday is the $560 PKO game, playing out alongside Day 2 of Event #3. The PKO action gets underway at 2 PM, and players sit down with 25k in chips.
They can enter or rebuy for the first 8 levels of play, with the entry desk shutting down after the dinner break following Level 8. That should put the last chance to enter at about 6:45 PM. After that, they’ll play down to a winner before they end.
I likely won’t catch much of the early action in this one as I’ll be focused on Day 2, but once Event #3 awards the trophy, I’ll finish my Sunday at the PKO game.

2 Off the Money
Level: 16 (3000/6000/6000) Entries: 14/118 Prizes: $56,050 ($32,450 prizes, $23,600 bounties) Local Time: 11:00 The PKO game is just about to head to the break following Level 16, with the field now at 14. That puts them 2 off the 12 paid spots tonight, and among the players still fighting for the prizes are Thomas Taylor, Michael “Berny” Bernstein, Weston Prong, Daniel Lefebvre, Ron Lauzon, Ali Razzaq, Ken Kaneda, Benny Sarnelli, and Shawn Taghavi.
I’m still watching the final four in Event #3, so it looks like this one might get into the money before I have a chance to catch any action.

-
First Break
Level: 4 (2100/400/400) Entries: 58/85 Prizes: $40,375 ($23,375 prizes, $17,000 bounties) Local Time: 4:05 PM The PKO Side Game is on its first break of the day, with the field at 85 entries. There are still a bit more than 2 hours left to enter, so it looks like an easy bet for a field of more than 100 by the time it closes.
The combined prizes are currently just over $40k, with $23,375 in the prize pool and $17k in the bounty pool. DJ Sharma immediately jumped into this one after he busted Event #3 for 18th place, so Sharma Time is now in effect for the PKO.

There are currently 40 entries on the board with 37 players still in action. The bounties in this one start at $200 per person, but the PKO format means that as players eliminate others, half the busted bounty gets added to the winning player, with the other half going to their pocket immediately.
