2026 Summer Super Stack – Event #12: $560 Megastack NLH

As soon as they got heads-up, Glenn Tarasoff and Ali Razzaq decided to chop up the money. They took $30,832 each, with Tarasoff taking the win with the biggest stack.

It’s a swingy game when the blinds get big. Daniel Lefebvre was the chip leader at the break, but he doubled up Glenn Tarasoff shortly after the break and was on the short stack when he shoved over Ali Razzaq’s raise to 400k. Razzaq called with pocket fours for a race against K♦Q♦.Razzaq turned the straight on 3♥2♦6♠5♠J♣ and Lefe was out for 3rd.

The final three players are on a break following Level 29, with Daniel Lefebvre in the lead.

After a raise from Ali Razzaq in the small, Daniel Lefebvre shoved the big stack from the big blind. Razzaq called with A♥6♥ against K♠J♠ for Lefebvre. Razzaq flopped an ace and rivered trips on 7♦A♦3♦4♣A♠. There is a break coming in less than 5 minutes, and I’ll update the chips then.

Thomas Taylor followed Alex Liu out the door tonight. I missed the action while writing up the Liu bust, but Taylor was on around 20 bigs, and it looks like those chips went to Glenn Tarasoff.

Alex Liu raised under the gun to 220k, then shoved after Daniel Lefebvre reraised the button to 480k. Lefe called it off with a bit more, and was ahead with kings against A♣5♣ for Liu. The kings held on 8♠7♦J♠2♣6♥. The hand put Lefe to the lead, with close to 5 million of the 10.8 million in play.

Thomas Taylor raised the button to 200k, then snapped it off when Glen Tarasoff shoved 990k from the big blind. Tarasoff needed an ace with ace-ten against pocket tens for Taylor. It looked like they’d be down to 4 until the river of 4♥2♣5♥9♣A♣.

Shortly after he doubled with aces over the eights for Thomas Taylor, the same two tangled again, but this time, Taylor came out on top. It was a race when Hoffert shoved around 700k with ace-eight of clubs, and Taylor called off with pocket sevens. Hoffert flopped an eight, but Taylor rivered a set of sevens on 6♦8♦K♦J♠7♦. Neither player had a diamond, so Taylor’s set took it down.

Wayne Hoffert shoved the middle for 325k, and Thomas Taylor called from the cutoff. Taylor was looking for an eight with pocket eights against aces for Hoffert. The aces held on a runout of 7♥3♦K♣6♣3♥.

I missed the action while writing Alex Liu’s chip up, but Colten Yamagishi is out in 7th place tonight for $5,907.

Alex Liu just chipped up to around 2 million through Daniel Lefebvre. Liu was on pocket queens, against king-queen of hearts, with a heart draw on the board for Lefe. He bricked the runout to leave the queens in front.

I missed the final action, but Todd Oakley ended his day in 8th place today. He recently doubled up Wayne Hoffert in a blind-on-blind cooler to leave him short.

Wayne Hoffert shoved the small blind, and Todd Oakley called with more. It was a blind-on-blind cooler with Hoffert on ace-king against ace-jack for Oakley. The king played on a board of Q♠Q♦8♠10♣6♣ and Hoffert doubled to about 1.8 million.

Matt Gudmundson (10th) and Jordan Banfield (9th) busted while I was processing the pictures (I had some computer issues, so it took me longer than usual), so the field is now down to 8 remaining.

Razzaq was behind with Q♥8♥ against A♥K♣ for Lade, but Razzaq had trips by the time the K♦4♦8♣8♦A♦ board was out, and Lade hit the rail for 11th place. Right after he busted, he let out a whoop and announced it was the most money he’s ever made playing cards, so he’s pretty happy.

Just before the break, there was a huge hand on Table 35. Daniel Lefebvre raised to 60k under the gun, and Alex Liu reraised from the small blind to 400k. Lefe shoved the covering stack, and Liu called off for his tournament life.

Liu was dominated preflop with ace-jack into ace-king, but by the time the K♥3♠J♦J♣4♠ board was complete, Liu tripped up the big slick for Lefe and doubled to more than a million.

Todd Oakley raised under the gun to 40k, and Thomas Taylor called the cutoff, as did Go Geocdancski in the big blind. After a check from the big blind, Oakley bet 60k on the 8♠6♣A♠ flop. Both players called to the 4♠ turn, where they all checked to the K♥ river.

Geocdancski checked, and Oakley bet 125k. Taylor mucked his hand, but Geocdancski called, then mucked when Oakley showed red sixes for the flopped set.

Petere Darlington shoved his shorter stack with king-queen, but ran into ace-three suited for Go Geocdancski. Geocdancski flopped two pair with an ace and a three on the flop, and that was all he needed to send Darlington out.

Event #12: $560 Megastack ($500 + $60) Day 2

Day 2 is set, but it will be a little smaller than expected. A double knockout at the end of a long bubble on Day 1b meant that only 20 bags survived for Day 2. Added to the 14 from Day 1a, 34 players will be coming back to compete for a share of $167,675.

Thomas Taylor stacked up big during bubble play on 1b, and ended as the top stack with almost 900k. Jordan Banfield was doing something similar on another table, and he bagged just shy of 750k, with 1a leader Julius Roque in 3rd with 625k.

The reduced field for Day 2 means that the prizes posted earlier are incorrect. The numbers won’t change a huge amount, but the payout structure currently online is based on 35 players rather than 34. I’ll update the payouts on Friday when I get in.
