2026 Summer Super Stack – Event #4: $450 PLO Double Board Bomb Pot

It was destined to be a battle between Gavin Lee & Nick Lee when they got heads-up. Gavin had the big chip lead, but both players were dialed into the game in a serious way. A few hands before the deal, Nick just flatted a spot where he had a boat on the bottom, running into quads on top for Gavin. Heads-up, that’s a spot the money easily could have gone in for Nick, so getting away with just a flat call on the river showed how in tune he was.

That said, Gavin wasn’t giving anything back either. He maintained a solid lead throughout heads-up, and though Nick clawed some chips back here and there, he wasn’t able to find enough traction to challenge Gavin’s stack at any point. Finally, at the end of Level 23, with the game threatening to move to the Poker room for a potentially long heads-up battle, the two Lees decided to do a chop where Nick took $6,500, leaving $7,455 for Gavin for the win.

Both players checked the Q♠4♦K♣ flops, and Gavin Lee led for 30k on the 5♥ & 6♣ turns. Nik Lee called to the Q♣ & 3♦ rivers, where Gavin fired 75k.

“I’m just calling,” Nick said, sliding out 75k for the call. Gavin hit quad queens on the top with pocket queens, and a boat on the bottom with pocket sixes for the scoop. Nick said he had pocket fours for the boat on top, so it’s a bit surprising the money didn’t go in.

The money went in on the flops of 7♦4♣Q♦ & 8♦6♦5♣. After a check from Nick Lee, Adam White potted to 75k before Gavin Lee repotted to 300k. Nick folded, but White put in the rest of his stack for the call.

Lee hit a boat on the top and a straight on the bottom when the runouts came 10♦7♣ & 9♣2♣, scooping the pots and sending White out in 3rd.

On the final hand of the previous level, after a check from Adam white on the flops of 7♦5♦6♠ & 3♥9♣8♦, Gavin Lee bet 40k. Nick Lee called, while White folded.

Gavin check-called for 80k on the 5♠ & 4♥ turns, but he check-mucked to Nick’s all-in on the Q♣ & 8♠ rivers.

That hand left Nick & White pretty even in chips, with Gavin still out in front.

All three players checked the flops of 10♣7♥8♥ & 4♥10♦Q♣, and after a check from Adam White on the 9♠ & 2♣ turns, Gavin Lee bet 40k.

Nick Lee called, but White mucked his hand. On the 4♦ & A♥ rivers Gavin bet 65k. “I don’t really fold for that price,” Nick said, putting in his call.

Gavin showed J♦8♥5♣3♠ for straights on both boards and a scoop. White scored a recent double to get him back into the game, and with the recent pot between the Lees, Nick is now the short stack.

The final three players are on a break before Level 21, and Gavin Lee is in the lead with 800k. Nick Lee isn’t too far behind with 680k, while Adam White is the short stack with 220k.

As I was collecting the stacks, White said, “Make sure to note that I’m still the favorite.” Chip leader Gavin Lee agreed.

After Adam White checked the flops of 4♠7♠J♥ on the top and 2♣8♣9♠ on the bottom, Gavin Lee fired 40k. Nick Lee called before Jake Sujata shoved for 66k. Everyone called to the 6♠ and 10♣ turns.

White and Gavin Lee called before Nick Lee made it 115k to go. White folded, but Gavin Lee made the call, and both active players checked the A♥ & 9♥ rivers.

Sujata flopped a set of jacks on top, and looked to be chopping the main pot, but Gavin Lee had a boat on the bottom with nine-eight, and a straight on the top with three-four, while Nick Lee’s flopped set of fours was no good, and Gavin Lee took both pots to send Sujata home.

After a couple of checks from the first two players to act, Jake Sujata shoved his short stack of 42k on flops of 6♦Q♠10♠ on the top & 10♣J♣A♦ on the bottom. Two players folded before “Doctor” Nick Lee potted to 186k. Muhammed Shamir repotted all-in, and Lee called it off with the most.

While I was processing and uploading the pictures, Sean Singh and Darrell Moore busted together on the same hand. Moore had more chips, so he got 6th place.

This is an 8-handed game, so they are still playing at two tables, with the final table expected when they get to nine after the next elimination. After that, there are two more eliminations required before the money spots.

The side game is down to 13 players remaining now, 6 off the money spots for tonight. Level 15 is nearly complete, and I’m expecting them to hit the money sometime late in Level 17 or early 18.

The side game is down to 21 players left. That puts them 14 eliminations away from the 7 paid spots tonight. The full prizes are loaded under the Payouts tab, with the winner set to pocket more than $8k.

Entries are closed for the PLO Double Board Bomb Pot, with the final field at 68 entries. That caps both the Spring game as well as last Summer’s total.

The field is also confirmed, with the prizes already posted. Seven players will get a piece of almost $36k in prizes later tonight.

Level 7 is just underway, and the field is now at 52 entries, for prizes just shy of $20k. Cindy Kerslake is among the players in action today, along with Darlene Hernandez, Carl Sellars, Roman Brar, and Stefan Maloney.

The side game is closing in on 50 entries now, as they approach the first break of the day. The past two runnings of this game drew 60-65 entries, and I expect today to settle out at about the same number.

The PLO Double-Board Bomb Pot game is up to 40 entries, for more than $15k in prizes. Just over 15 minutes remain in Level 3, with entries open until the start of Level 11.

Level 1 of the Double Board Bomb Pot game is underway, with 25 entries on the board. That puts almost $10k into the prize pool already, and I’m expecting this field to top out between 60 & 70 entries later tonight.

If you’re looking for action & variance, the place to be is the Chrome Room at 4 PM on Thursday for the PLO Double Board Bomb Pot. It promises to be action-heavy, with every hand played in the double-board bomb format.

The action kicks off at 4 PM, with players sitting down with 25k in chips. Blinds are 25 minutes, and players have 10 levels to enter the game. That should put the chance to buy in at about 8:40 PM Thursday evening. After that, they’ll race down to a winner before the end of the night.

In the 2025 Summer series, Skyler York took down this game after an epic heads-up battle against Teo Sanchez. They prevailed over 63 entries, for the biggest shares of nearly $24k in prizes. In the Spring series earlier this year, Peter Darlington once again put on his PLO wizard’s cap to take down another four-card game. Darlington got through the 62-entry field to get heads-up against Gord Chen, and they took the biggest prizes out of the $23.5k in prizes.
