Swarms of players again descended upon Casino Malta on October 31 for Day 5 of the 2026 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition, and the tournament room was packed full to the brim as two starting flights of the Main Event were completed, sending the prize pool over the €2 million mark.

Luigi Shehadeh of Italy (975,000) and Terry Jordon of the United Kingdom (950,000) topped the standings in Days 1g and Day 1h of the Main Event, leading 257 and 33 qualifiers respectively.

In addition, Erik Navratil of Slovakia and Tommy Skagestad of Norway earned victories in the €220 Bounty Hunter Days and €330 Pot Limit Omaha side events.

Day 1g of the Main Event gathered an obscene total of 1,714 entries, and as a result 257 players were scheduled to qualify.

Shehadeh (957,000) led the way from Jakub Skurzynski of Poland (959,000) and Karl Karlsson of Sweden (933,000), all of whom secured a chip leader bonus package worth €1,500 to the Battle of Malta in May 2027.

A total of 442 entries were recorded in Day 1h, and Jordon (950,000) topped the standings to secure the chip leader bonus package, ahead of Kajetan Renke of Poland (703,000) and Alaa Galem of Israel (538,000).
