After three days of intense poker action, a total field of 414 runners in the 2026 Novibet Greek Poker Odyssea €1,000 Main Event has been reduced to 111 Day 2 qualifiers, all of whom will return at 3 p.m. local time on June 17 to resume battle in the Vergina Theatro at the Regency Casino, Thessaloniki.
Richard Hayes and poker.pro will be on the floor from the start of play, making sure you don’t miss a moment of the action, so stay tuned for all your coverage of what is sure to be a thrilling day of poker in Day 2 of the 2026 Novibet Greek Poker Odyssea Main Event.

Those figures mean a huge €372,600 prize pool is up for grabs, a record for a Novibet event in Greece, with payout details set to be confirmed at the start of Day 2.
Lulei Hu of Italy (967,000) is the player to catch at the start of play, after he decimated the field in the final starting flight to take the overall chip lead.
He holds a narrow lead over hometown hero Traianos-Alexandros Ntavoutis (955,000), while Hu’s fellow countryman Lorenzo Arduini (922,000) completes the podium places.

It is a heavyweight top ten, with Hu having racked up almost $1.6 million in cashes in the course of his career, and fresh off a final table at the PokerStars Open in Belgium last week. Arduini is also over the seven-figure mark in earnings, and is an EPT Main Event final tablist.
Greek Vaggelis Kaimakamis (796,000) is the 2019 WSOPE Mini Main Event champion, while Martin Tsvetanov (756,000) banked $471,862 after victory in the Eureka Main Event at EPT Prague 2024.

Fotios Ntamaris (919,000) and Dimitris Sarris (750,000) are two of Greece’s finest, while Bulgarian Yordan Dichev (869,000) also boasts a six-figure résumé.
