The 2026 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju II is officially in the books. Fourteen events, the $150,000 10th Anniversary Special, and a heads-up cash game match billed as the largest in livestreamed poker history ran over 14 days at Les A Casino on Jeju Island, South Korea, delivering one of the poker calendar’s highlights.
Nick Schulman won the Main Event on the eve of his 42nd birthday. Joao Simao banked $9,767,090 across two events. Dan Dvoress won his seventh career title and extended his lead in the Ivan Leow Player of the Year race.
Nick Petrangelo and Wang Ye then closed the festival in style. Petrangelo won the 10th Anniversary Special after a heads-up deal with Simao, then settled the trophy with three consecutive blind all-ins between longtime friends, and Wang Ye claimed the series’ final trophy in the closing $30,000 Turbo. The festival produced $103.2 million in prize money from 1,752 total entries. The Triton Super High Roller Series heads to North Cyprus in November.

Petrangelo and Simao Close the Festival in Fitting Style
The $150,000 10th Anniversary Special drew 67 entries for a $10,050,000 prize pool, with 11 places paid. It was the kind of final table only Triton can produce: Adrian Mateos, Thomas Boivin, Danny Tang, Dan Dvoress and Seth Davies all at the same table, all with a realistic shot at a title that honored the tour’s first decade. Dvoress went out ninth when Miroslav Atanasov cracked his queens, the first player in his own tournament to win that day. Davies fell eighth after ace-eight ran into Petrangelo’s ace-queen. Boivin rallied from 15,000 chips, a number that sounds unplayable, all the way to contention before losing a flip to Mateos in fifth. Mateos went third for $1,286,000 when ace-ten lost a race against Simao’s pocket threes.
That left Petrangelo heads-up against Simao, down 3:1 in chips with a longtime friendship on the line. The pair had been playing against each other since the online poker boom of the late 2000s. “
Yeah, we just played against each other forever,” Petrangelo told Triton Media after the match. “I mean, like you were saying, back to playing, grinding online against each other in 2008, we’ve been playing forever. He’s a great guy.”
They agreed to an ICM deal. Simao’s chip lead translated to $2,517,090, and Petrangelo’s 21 big blinds converted to $2,212,910. Then, in a move that fit the spirit of the occasion, he settled the trophy with consecutive blind all-ins. It took three hands. Petrangelo doubled twice and took the rest, collecting the trident and his second career Triton Poker title.
“You can finish ninth in a bunch of these, or you can get lucky and get three-handed or heads-up, and I’m happy it worked out,” Petrangelo told PokerNews. For Simao, the runner-up was an afterthought. He had already won the $200,000 Invitational for $7,250,000 four days earlier. His combined total across the two events: $9,767,090.

Wang Ye Takes the Final Trophy
With Petrangelo lifting the trident, only the $30,000 NLH Turbo remained between Jeju II and the history books. Twenty-three players entered for a $690,000 prize pool, a small field by Triton standards but a highly competitive one, with five players reaching the money. China’s Wang Ye took his first Triton title and second overall tournament win of 2026, collecting $256,000 after defeating four-time Triton champion Kiat Lee heads-up. Lee had led going into the final hand but ran his straight into Wang Ye’s sevens full of jacks on a board of J♣10♠7♠9♦7♥. Lee took $176,000 for second, a fitting runner-up to end a strong week that had already included a $40,000 Mystery Bounty win earlier in the festival. It was Wang Ye’s seventh final table of 2026.

Player of the Year: Dvoress Leads Into North Cyprus Finale
Dan Dvoress heads into the Triton Super High Roller Series season finale in North Cyprus as the clear leader in the Ivan Leow Player of the Year race, per Triton Poker Series.
He won four events across Jeju II and Montenegro: three titles at Montenegro in May, the first player ever to win three at a single Triton festival, and Event #6 at Jeju II. His lead is substantial, but North Cyprus carries POY points, and the $200,000 bonus isn’t confirmed until the season closes. He has seven career Triton titles, second only to Jason Koon’s record 12. The Super High Roller Series heads to North Cyprus in November for the season finale.
