Patrik Antonius and Ossi “Monarch” Ketola face each other tonight at Les A Casino in Jeju in what Triton has confirmed as the biggest televised heads-up match in poker history: $10 million each, $20 million combined, streaming live on Triton Poker’s YouTube channel and the Triton Poker Plus app. The match runs under the Duel Heads Up banner, the co-branded series between Ketola’s Duel.com casino and Triton Poker.

Antonius vs. Monarch

Patrik Antonius is a well-known Poker Hall of Famer and one of the two biggest online cash game winners in history, both online and live. His live tournament record shows nearly $35 million, according to The Hendon Mob, including two Triton titles and the $200,000 Triton Invitational in Monte Carlo in November 2024 for $5,130,000. He won that event with Ketola as his invited VIP partner. Tonight the arrangement is reversed. Heads-up, deep-stacked, no structure to hide behind: this is exactly the format that made Antonius famous.

Ossi Ketola is a Finnish entrepreneur who built his fortune through CSGOEmpire, a Counter-Strike skin-gambling platform he started with an €11,000 loan in 2016, and later launched Duel.com, a crypto casino that became an official Triton sponsor in September 2026. He is not a professional poker player.

He is a businessman who plays nosebleed poker on camera as a marketing strategy, and increasingly, as a genuine competitive pursuit. He has also been one of poker’s most divisive figures: suspended from X in October 2025 (alongside the Duel and CSGOEmpire accounts) for violating platform rules, condemned by parts of the poker community for using racist language in streams and social media, and associated with Andrew Tate through a Duel ambassador deal signed in November 2025. The poker has been extraordinary. The surrounding noise has not always been.

What Happened This Week

Ketola opened Jeju II by challenging Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski to a $1 million-each heads-up freezeout on September 9. Malinowski won it inside a few hands on a brutal cooler: Ketola’s turned straight against Malinowski’s rivered full house, $1.81 million pot. Ketola doubled the stakes to $4 million and won the rematch. He leaves the Malinowski series up $6 million, per SoMuchPoker’s match tracking.

The $11 million pot between Monarch and Foxen at Triton Jeju 2025, the first eight-figure hand ever broadcast.

That is the backdrop. Ketola arrives at the Antonius match profitable and with momentum, having already beaten Malinowski twice in 2026 after losing to him twice in 2025. The pattern across his entire heads-up run has been consistent: lose, double the stakes, sit back down. It does not always work. Dan “Jungleman” Cates took €13 million off him across six matches in Cyprus last August. But the approach has produced some of the most-watched moments in poker history: a $12.7 million pot against Bjorn Li at Jeju 2025, the largest ever shown on a poker livestream, and the $10.99 million pot against Alex Foxen, the first eight-figure hand ever broadcast.

The Unusual Part

Antonius is not just Ketola’s opponent tonight. He is his Duel investor, his poker mentor, and the professional he specifically chose to partner with in tomorrow’s $200,000 Triton Invitational. Before they play together, they play against each other for $20 million. This kind of match has no real precedent.
