Brian Rast Adds Seventh Bracelet to His Collection
After four days of grueling battling at the poker tables, Brian Rast beat Andrew Yeh in a heads-up to win his seventh World Series of Poker bracelet in Event #50: $10,000 Razz Championship at Horseshoe Events Center, Las Vegas.
Rast had to beat the field of 134 entries, which generated a prize pool of $1,246,200, to add $306,644 to his total live earnings of $28,046,685. Rast is currently in 33rd place in Hendon Mob’s All-Time Money List, and his most significant cash came in 2015, when he won $500,000 in No Limit Hold’em—Super High Roller Bowl for $7,525,000.
This is Rast’s seventh cash in the 2025 World Series of Poker and the most significant one for now, symbolically giving him his seventh WSOP bracelet. This achievment has been reached by only 13 players in whole WSOP history!

The Final Table
At the start of the final table, Andrew Yeh was chip-leading with 39 big blinds, and there were two really short stacks. David Funkhouser had three big blinds, and Christian Roberts had the same number of big blinds, while Brian Rast was third with 23 big blinds.
The first elimination came after David Funkhouser completed and called a raise from Joao Vieira. Both of them checked on fourth, and Funkhouser shoved the rest of his chips on fifth, and Vieira called. Funkhouser had 5xAx/4x2xKxTx/Kx vs Vieira’s 8x7x/Ax5xKx2x/Jx. Vieira drew an eight, and Funkhouser was drawing on seventh, but Kx left him with a ten, and he was out in ninth place for $28,547.
David Funkhouser
The next elimination came when Brian Yoon completed and was raised by Maksim Pisarenko and Yoon called. Both checked on the fourth, then Pisarenko bet on the fifth, and Yoon called; Pisarenko was all-in on the sixth, and Yoon called, covering him in chips. Pisarenko had 3xAx/5xAx8xQx/6x vs Yoon’s 5x4x/3x7x3xKx/6x. Yoon drew 6x on the seventh to improve to a seven, and Pisarenko had only eight, which was enough to finish in eighth place for $34,817.
Maksim Pisarenko
Just a few minutes later, Roberts completed, and Eslami called. Eslami put his last chips in on the fourth and got called. Eslami had 9x6x/QxAxKx/2x against Roberts’s 8x3x/8xAxJx9x/Qx and was eliminated in seventh place in the Razz Championship for $43,706.

The row of eliminations continued, and Christian Roberts completed it and was called by Vieira. Roberts bet on fourth, and Vieira raised, putting Roberts all-in. Roberts called, and he was at risk. Roberts had 7xAx/3x4xQx7x/Jx against Vieira’s 6x5x/8xAxKx2x/4x. Vieira hit six-low, and Roberts was drawing dead by seventh and was eliminated in sixth place for $56,424.
Christian Roberts
Nikolay Ponomarev completed and was called by Vieira. Ponomarev bet on fourth and was called by Vieira. Vieira then led on fifth, and Ponomarev raised just to face an all-in from Vieira, which he called. Ponomarev was at risk, and he had 9x2x/Ax6xKx2x/Jx and was against 4x3x/Tx5x7xKx/8x. Ponomarev hit the duce and drew to a jack-low, but Vieira had an eight, eliminating Ponomarev in fifth place for $74,857.
Nikolay Ponomarev
After eliminating Ponomarev, Vieira was next on his way out after Andrew Yeh completed. Joao Vieira was forced all-in from the ante, and Yoon folded. Vieira had KxJx/2xJxAxKx/Ax against Yeh, who had 7x4x/2x5x6x7x/9x. There wasn’t much to see, as Vieira was drawing dead by fourth. Vieira was eliminated in fourth place for $101,983.
Joao Vieira
Andrew Yeh completed, and Brian Yoon called. Yeh then bet on fourth, and after a few raises, all the money was in the middle, putting Yoon at risk of elimination. Yoon had 4x5x/9xAxQx7x/3x, which wasn’t enough against 6x4x/2xAxAx9x/3x of Yeh. Yeh managed to catch a 3x on seventh to make 6-5-4-3-2 and eliminated Yoon in third place for $142,579.

The Heads-Up
The heads-up started with Yeh ahead in chips with almost 2:1, and the game was on. With eyes on the prize, both players seemed ready to go into deep waters to bring home the gold. After hands were played, both players decided to call it a day and continue the next day, opening Day 4 of the event. Yeh closed the day as the 3:1 chip leader.
As the game continued the next day, Rast lost another hand and was short on chips, but then he started to win hand after hand for the next two hours and turned tables around before he completed with a 2x; Yeh raised all-in with Kx, and Rast called. Rast ended with 3x3xAxQxTx9x hitting T-9-3-2-A, and Yeh had 8x2x5x2xQx and was eliminated before even seeing his last card. Yeh shook Rast’s hand and accepted he was out in second place for $204,423.
