It’s probably safe to say Benny Glaser knows poker. The record-holder for WCOOP and SCOOP titles online, and the now 7-time WSOP bracelet winner, has conquered essentially every form of the game that exists against some of the best competition in the world.
Glaser’s latest success came in Event #15: $1,500 Mixed: Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, his seventh bracelet. While all of his bracelets have come in various kinds of mixed games, he does have some two-card titles online as well, with big titles in essentially every variant of the game.
For bracelet #7, Glaser had to battle through 1,239 entries in the $1,500 game that combines various forms of Omaha Hi-Lo. His $258,193 top prize was the biggest share of $1,644,773 in total prizes at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas.
This was Glaser’s second bracelet this week after he took down the $1,500 Dealers Choice game just a few days ago, predicting a potential run for the ages in the 2025 series for the British mixed-game phenom. This second bracelet early is sure to put Glaser in a commanding position in the Player of the Year race this year.

2025 WSOP Event #15: $1,500 Mixed: Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Final Day Recap
“We fired our guns and the British kept a-comin’. There wasn’t as many as there was a while ago.”
So goes the Johnny Horton classic, The Battle of New Orleans, recounting a famous battle from the American Revolution two and a half centuries ago. In that classic song, and the original battle, the Americans prevailed, but at the 2025 WSOP, the “British kept a-coming” and one in particular held the day. After all the bullets were fired, it was mixed-game wizard Benny Glaser holding the title for the UK this time around
Glaser was the only non-American to make the final table. He recognized the talent at the table, giving props to his heads-up opponent, but he was still able to prevail against the 8 Americans.
“(Heads-up) was really a tough battle. I was overall impressed with how (Pearson) played. I hadn’t really played him before this tournament. There were one or two hands that were pretty rough, but I was able to re-center myself back in.”
Just three players had to come back for the impromptu Day 4 action, but it was down to 2 almost immediately after the short-stacked David Shmuel (who is also a bracelet winner in 2025) hit the rail after just a couple of hands. Runner-up Travis Pearson had the lead going into the final two, but Glaser got a quick double-up to even it out.
They played a marathon session from there, with the chip lead moving back and forth multiple times. At one point, Pearson thought he’d binked the bracelet when the money was in with him holding a queen-high flush and the winning low, but he missed the king-high flush for the Brit and the over-flush allowed Glaser to chop the pot and stay alive.
They took a break and Glaser returned to take a sizable lead. Pearson fought back with a double, but it wouldn’t be enough as Glaser took him out a few hands later.
