In Event #64: $1,000 Super Seniors, it’s Damir Stefanic leading the Canadian charge as the field heads into the final day. Stefanic bagged a towering 8,275,000 chips—good for 4th overall—and now finds himself firmly in the hunt for a bracelet in one of the WSOP’s most iconic events.
It’s been a masterclass from Stefanic so far—steady play, sharp reads, and big hands at the right time. With just the final table left, he’s now within striking distance of a career-defining moment.
Singh and Siginc Run Deep in Tag Team
The team of Pushpinder Singh and Mehmet Siginc made a strong run in Event #65: $1,000 Tag Team, ultimately bowing out in 19th place for $6,454. The Canadian duo brought the right mix of chemistry and composure, staying alive through the chaos of one of the WSOP’s most unique formats.
They may not have made the final push, but their teamwork got them past hundreds of teams and deep into the money—a solid showing under the Vegas lights.
Girotti Bags Big in the Gladiator
In the low buy-in, high-mayhem Event #67: $300 Gladiator NLH, Gary Girotti is off to a red-hot start. Girotti ended Day 1b with 2,070,000 chips—7th overall—as the giant field continues to take shape.
The Gladiator structure is a sprint from start to finish, and Girotti came out swinging. With plenty more flights to come, he’s already locked in a strong seat heading into the combined Day 2.
Xing He Eyes Final Table in $3K NLH
Over in Event #68: $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em, Xing He has emerged as a serious threat with just a few tables left. He bagged 820,000 chips—good for 4th overall—as Day 2 wrapped, and now sits well-positioned for a final table charge.
The $3K NLH always attracts a tough field of mid-stakes crushers and sneaky sharp pros, but He has more than held his own. If momentum holds, a huge score could be coming his way.
Lugibihi Contending in Stud Hi-Lo
In the mix-heavy streets of Event #69: $1,500 Stud Hi-Lo, Aaron Lugibihi is making waves. Lugibihi ended Day 2 with 2,350,000 chips, sitting 3rd overall as the split-pot showdown moves toward a final table.
Stud Hi-Lo requires patience, precision, and the ability to dodge brutal runouts—and Lugibihi has been doing just that. With a stack like this, a bracelet sweat is officially on the radar.
