2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn

Those who won’t be in Day 2 of the €1,500 Main Event tomorrow might be intrigued to take their shot in Ring Event #9: €555 Sviten. This is the second-ever WSOP Circuit Sviten Ring Event, after the inaugural edition last year.

Back then, many Swedes made their way to Tallinn to prove that they were the best Sviten players. The tournament registered 113 entries, which translated to a €53,675 prize pool, and the final table consisted of three Swedes, three Finns, and one American. Nicklas Nordblom was close to securing the win for Sweden, but he ultimately lost a thrilling heads-up to Finland’s Jarkko Suokas. Only time will tell who snags the ring this year.

The Sviten Ring Event will kick off at 14:00 tomorrow (Friday, July 31).

Here comes a general status update of everything that’s going on at Olympic Park Casino & Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel right now.

The €200 Five-Card Mix side event attracted 60 entries, which translated to a €9,690 prize pool. Sixteen players are left in the field, and the top nine will get paid. One of the players still in the mix is the reigning €1,500 Main Event champion Jenny Westerlund.

More side event action, the €750 NLH Mystery Bounty attracted 77 entries. The prize pool reads €49,010, and the 14 remaining players are approaching the bubble, seeing as 12 players will get paid.

Late registration in the €555 NLH 6-Handed is open for another hour and a half. Prominent player Niko Koop is one of the biggest names in the mix as of now.

Late registration in Day 1e of the Main Event is open for another four and a half hours; this is the final starting-day flight, so players would be very wise to take their shot in the flagship tournament. By the looks of it, Mehdi Yazdanpanah, who won Ring Event #3: €555 NLH, had the third biggest stack after the most recent break.

Last but not least, there are two more tournaments on today’s schedule: the €200 PLO4/5 Bomb Pot will kick off at 21:00, while he €200 NLH Turbo will wrap things up at 22:00.

Late registration has closed for Day 1d of the €1,500 Main Event. The tournament registered 346 entries, and the current chip leader is Norwegian Jae Kim.

Day 1e, which is the final starting-day flight, is currently ongoing. All in all, the tournament has currently registered 808 entries, and the prize pool is €1,036,260, meaning the €1,000,000 guarantee is reached. Of course, the prize pool will continue to grow; late registration is still open for Day 1e.

After a swingy and lengthy heads-up, Aki Pyysing has now defeated Marius Toverud heads-up to secure his second WSOP Circuit Ring.

It all ended during a round of Razz. With the Q♦, Toverud brought in for 50,000. Pyysing and his 7♠ raised to 150,000, and Toverud responded by going all in for 360,000. Pyysing made the call without hesitation, and the two players tabled their hole cards, revealing their hands:

The dealer gave Pyysing the 10♠, and Toverud the K♠. Pyysing then received the decent 6♠, while Toverud didn’t benefit from the 3♣. “That should do it,” Pyysing said as he then got the 4♣, while Toverud got the 6♥. The players finally received their seventh card faced down, and then, they tabled their full hands.

With that, Pyysing got all the chips, the €18,380 first-place payout, the coveted ring, and the $5,000 package to the 2026 WSOP Paradise. Toverud has to wait for his first live poker tournament title (source: The Hendon Mob), but he should still be happy with the €12,220 he got for finishing second. There are only two players left in Ring Event #8: €1,100 8-Game. Norwegian Marius Toveurd plays 1,900,000 against the 1,300,000 of Aki Pyysing as heads-up kicks off. According to The Hendon Mob, Toverud is chasing his first-ever tournament win. Meanwhile, Finnish poker legend Pyysing is going for his second WSOP Circuit Ring (seeing as he won the €350 PLO4/5 Progressive Bounty during the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn.

The poker.pro live blog hasn’t focused too much on Ring Event #5: €1,500 Main Event so far throughout the festival, but that’s about to change tomorrow, when Day 2 starts.

Norway’s Tarjei Forus may be the “Player of the Series” with a few days still to go of the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. On July 25, he won the €350 PLO5/PLO 5 Hi-Lo side event for €3,365. Then, yesterday, July 29, he won Ring Event #6: €1,100 PLO4/5 for €43,930. He is trying to write an even bigger story, as he’s one of the six players remaining in Ring Event #8: €1,100 8-Game. Sascha Manns was the first to bust from the seven-handed final table; that’s one player less standing in Forus’ way.

Day 1d of Ring Event #5: €1,500 Main Event is currently on a break. The field is getting bigger and stronger by the minute; below are some of the most notable names; God knows there are many.

The fourth and penultimate starting-day flight of Ring Event #5: €1,500 Main Event was the one affair to kick off today’s action, about 30 minutes ago. Day 1e, i.e., the final starting-day flight, will kick off at 18:00. Before that, it’s the exciting conclusion of Ring Event #8: €1,100 8-Game. Ten players are remaining, all guaranteed the €2,210 min-cash. They’re fighting for the €18,380 up-top, and amongst the remaining players are chip leaders Michael Schmitz and Tarjei Forus, Finnish poker legend Aki Pyysing, poker.pro team member Jason Glatzer, Mixed Games virtuoso Riku Koivurinne, and overall funny guy Sascha Manns.

That’s it, what goes for Ring Events, but that doesn’t mean it’s a slow day; quite the contrary. The most popular affair of the day should be the €750 Mystery Bounty; it’s a one-day event that has proven to be very popular during earlier live poker festivals in Tallinn. After eliminating Estonian Mairo Tori heads-up, Sweden’s Mehdi Yazdanpanah is now crowned the winner of Ring Event #3: €555 NLH during the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. He takes home €59,465, the trophy, the title, and the $5,000 package to the 2026 WSOP Paradise.

Mairo Tori opened to 800,000 on the Button, and was forced all in for 9,750,000 by Mehdi Yazdanpanah (Big Blind) within seconds. After some consideration, Tori decided to call for his tournament life.

Tori was ahead, albeit by a small margin. This would be a crucial pot for whoever won it. Tori maintained his lead on the 6♦3♦8♣ flop, but the Q♣ completely flipped the script. When the 10♣ river came on the river, the Swedish rail erupted, and they roared so loud that you could hear it from both Riga and Vilnius. The dealer counted the stacks to make sure, and indeed, Yazndanpanah had Tori covered, meaning that Tori was declared the runner-up of Ring Event #3: €555 NLH for €39,330.

Yazdanpanah check-called a 400,000 continuation bet from Tori on the 7♦10♣Q♥ flop. Yazdanpanah checked again on the K♦ turn, and Tori sized up to 1,000,000. Now, Yazdanpanah pulled the trigger; he moved all in for 4,600,000. After a few seconds’ worth of consideration, Tori made the call.

Yazdanpanah grimaced as he saw the bad news; he needed a miracle on the river. Sure enough, his Swedish rail absolutely erupted as the dealer put out the 6♣ river. With a superior two-pair, Yazdanpanah secured the pot and claimed the chip lead.

Yazdanpanah check-called 600,000 from Tori on the 8♠4♥5♣ flop. Action repeated itself on the 3♥ turn, the only difference being that the sizing from Tori now was 1,500,000. Both players checked the 7♦ river.

Action went check-check on the 3♠9♠J♥ flop. Yazdanpanah dipped his toes in the waters with an 800,000 bet on the 2♣ turn, and Tori made the call. Yazdanpanah pulled the trigger on the 6♥ river; he moved all in for 4,500,000. This sent Tori deep into the tank; after putting up with three minutes’ worth of Yazdanpanah table talk, he decided to let his hand go.

Before raking in his newly-won chips, Yazdanpanah revealed the 3♣.

Yazdanpanah check-called 300,000 from Tori on the 7♦K♦9♠ flop, then another 700,000 on the 8♠ turn. After a third check from Yazdanpanah on the K♠ river, Tori forced his opponent all in for roughly 3,000,000. Yazdanpanah sighed, contemplated his options for one minute, then folded.

Mairo Tori opened to 500,000 on the Button. When the decision was on Arasch Mirzai, he moved all in for 3,500,000. Tori made the call without hesitation.

Mirzai was disappointed to see what he was up against. Tori maintained his lead on the 9♦4♥K♥ flop. Mirzai’s outs were swapped from tens to queens on the J♦ turn, but the 8♣ didn’t help him. Gracious in defeat, Mirzai wished his opponents “Good game,” before leaving to collect his €26,830 earned for finishing third.

As such, the stage is set for a heads-up between Tori and Mehdi Yazdanpanah. The players went on a 20-minute break and will later resume play on Blinds 150,000/300,000.

Tori tabled 7♠4♠ for two pairs. Yazdanpanah nodded disappointedly; he flashed the A♠ before folding. Tori is now the new chip leader.

Mirzai bet 250,000 on the 6♦Q♣6♥ flop, and was then faced with a 550,000 raise from Tori. Mirzai made the call, then check-called another 650,000 from Tori on the 3♥ turn. Both players checked the 2♠ river.

First to show, Mirzai tabled Q♠8♥. Tori acknowledged he was beat, and threw his cards into the muck.

Mirzai sighed as Neagoe took the lead on the 6♦10♦K♠ flop. His frown turned upside-down on the A♣ turn, though, and the 4♦ didn’t bring any nasty surprises for him. As such, Neagoe was eliminaed in fourth place for €18,670.

Neagoe maintained his lead on the 4♦7♦3♥ flop. The K♥ turn was a scary card for him, but the J♣ secured him a full double-up.

It was a classic coin flip confrontation. Soriano maintained his lead on the K♦7♦3♥ flop, but Yazdanpanah hit his flush on the 9♦ turn. “Oh, you’re alive!” Yazdanpanah gasped as he realized the suit of the turn. The 2♦ river didn’t pair the board, though, and Soriano was eliminated in fifth place for €13,250. Meanwhile, Yazdanpanah is extending his lead over the field.

Gonzalo Soriano opened to 400,000 from the Hi-jack, and Mehdi Yazdanpanah defended his Big Blind.

Both players checked the 7♠10♠3♣ flop. Yazdanpanah then bet 200,000 on the 8♣ turn, and Soriano made the call. On the 4♦ river, Yazdanpanah sized up to 775,000. After 10 seconds’ worth of consideration, Soriano made the call.

“Nuts,” Yazdanpanah said as he tabled J♣9♦. Soriano nodded, then folded.

Ring Event #3: €555 NLH has kicked off at the center stage in the main tournament room. Germany’s Sebastian Von Toperczer became the first casualty of Day 3, going out in sixteenth for €2,180. Fifteen players left then, and, as previously stated, there’ll be some hands coverage from that tournament once the final table is reached.

Day 2 of Ring Event #6: €1,100 PLO4/5 is also up and running, with 28 players left. There are some seriously good players still in, such as Roope Tarmi, Ranno Sootla, and Joona Nyholm.

Day 1b of Ring Event #5: €1,500 Main Event is halfway through Level 1 with 50 players currently. Last but not least, the prestigious Ring Event #7: €5,000 NLH is scheduled to kick off in 10 minutes.

In other words, the venue is boiling.

It’s Day 7 of the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, and the festival just keep getting more and more intense everyday.

There are five WSOP Circuit Ring Events on today’s schedule, and three rings will be distributed. Ring Event #3: €555 NLH and Ring Event #6: €1,100 PLO4/5 both start at 12:00, and it’s the final flight for both tournaments. The NLH is down to its last 16 players, with Sweden’s Arasch Mirzai in the lead. The tournament scored 677 entries in total, and the final 16 are fighting for the €59,465 first-place payout, the biggest slice of the €321,575 prize pool.

Day 1 of the PLO4/5 played down to the money last night, meaning 30 players return today (from 198 entries). They’re all guaranteed €2,280, but are fighting for the €43,930 up top. Three Finns are topping the current chip count, with Rasmus Ekström in the lead.

Ring Event #7: €5,000 NH and Ring Event #8: €1,100 8-Game both kick off today, too. Alongside side events, satellites and two starting-day flights for Ring Event #5: €1,500 Main Event, it’s another busy day.

Today’s live coverage on poker.pro will commence at 12:00 with some general updates. Once the final table of the €555 NLH is reached, that will be the focus of the blog until a winner is crowned.

After an initial check from Saeteröy, Ekren continued for 60,000 on the 3♣Q♦4♥ flop. Saeteröy checked again on the 8♦ turn, and then called another 100,000 from Ekren. Another check from Saeteröy on the A♥ river, and Ekren sized up to a respectful 350,000. Saeteröy sighed, but then decided to go all in for 830,000. Ekren asked for a count and considered the situation for perhaps two minutes before utlimately making the call.

Ekren had made the correct call, and that settled it. All the chips now belonged to her, and Saeteröy finished as the runner-up for €4,599.

Ekren check-called a 115,000 continuation bet from Saeteröy on the 8♣7♣2♠ flop; the pot was getting big. After another check from Ekren, Saeteröy bet 225,000 on the 9♠ turn. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Ekren moved all in for 710,000. This sent Saeteröy deep into the tank; after two good minutes, she decided to let her hand go.

Ekren has now flipped the script; she is the new chip leader, albeit by the smallest of margins.

Shortly thereafter, Finland’s Saara Benlamine, who won the €250 Main Event during the 2024 Queens of Tallinn, went out in eleventh place for the same prize. In other words, the tournament is now on the final table bubble.

Yesterday, July 27, the first two WSOP Circuit Rings found new owners; Antti Pertula won Ring Event #1: €350 Mini Main Event, while Sami Säämänen won Ring Event #2: €555 PLO4/5. In other words, the first two major titles have been claimed by Finland, and we’ll see if they can keep the momentum going.

Today, there will be one more Ring Event winner, and it will be a woman. Ring Event #4: €350 NLH Queens attracted 86 entries yesterday, yielding a €25,327 prize pool. They played down to the money (15%, i.e., 13 players) before they bagged and tagged for the night. They will return today at 16:00 and play down to a winner. Almost half of the remaining field waves the Norwegian flag, including reigning champion Drea Karlsen and chip leader Vilde Fagerbakke. It should be exciting to follow the conclusion of the women’s event today.

Judging by entries, Ring Event #3 €555 NLH should be the biggest tournament today. Day 2 kicked off roughly half an hour ago, with late registration still open. With close to 600 entries, it’s getting close to tying last year’s edition of the tournament.

Ring Event #6: €1,100 PLO4/5 starts at 15:00, and it’s the “Big Brother” of yesterday’s €555 PLO4/5. Finland’s Mahias Siljander claimed the title last year and was awarded €41,000; perhaps, there will be a similar first-place prize this time around.

Last but absolutely not least when it comes to the Ring Events, it’s Day 1a of Ring Event #5: €1,500 Main Event. The first out of a total of five starting-day flights is scheduled to commence at 14:00, and reigning champion Jenny Westerlund has been seen on the premises, surely eager to defend her title.

With his elimination of Victor Amat in second place, Finland’s Antti Perttula is now crowned the winner of the record-breaking Ring Event #1: €350 Mini Main Event. He has emerged victorious from a field that consisted of 1,162 entries. Not only is he awarded with €36,100, but also the coveted WSOP Circuit Ring, the prestigious title, a $5,000 package for the 2026 WSOP Paradise, and, of course, eternal poker glory.

A second-place finish for €36,100 would have been bigger than Perttula’s previous biggest live cash (€25,867). Instead, he more than doubled it, capturing the biggest live poker tournament win of his career. It’s a very, very happy Perttula that is currently getting his winner’s photo taken next to the live reporter’s booth.

Amat checked the 3♥J♦5♣ flop before Perttula dipped his toes in the waters with a 1,600,000 bet. Amat then completed a check-raise move to 4,200,000. After perhaps one minute, Perttula made the call.

The turn was the Q♠, and Amat spent a good two minutes in the tank before checking. Perttula took about as long before forcing Amat all in for 14,100,000. Amat studied the board, his hole cards, and the Finnish body language of Perttula with surgical precision. After a good three minutes’ worth of consideration, he flicked in a chip for the call. “You have jack?” Perttula asked his opponent before the cards were on their backs. Amat nodded.

Perttula was praying for his hand to hold, while Amat was hoping to hit an eight on the river. That settled it; Amat was declared the runner-up of the record-breaking €350 Mini Main Event, and he was awarded €36,100 for his achievement.

Perttula check-called a 2,300,000 continuation bet from Vanloot on the K♥Q♦4♥ flop, and then another 2,500,000 on the 10♠ turn. After a check from Perttula on the K♠ river, Vanloot pulled the trigger; he moved all in for 10,400,000, and Perttula flew up from his chair.

“You serious?” Perttula questioned his opponent. “I have the king,” he continued, revealing he had a strong hand. “You must have ace-jack, maybe?” Perttula considered what his opponent might have. “I don’t know how to fold this,” he ultimately declared, and made the call.

Perttula was visibly happy and satisfied after the sublime call. The dealer counted the stacks, and it turned out that Perttula had his opponent covered by 200,000. The most notable thing that has happened recently is that Martin Piik, who had a decent chip lead, has been losing more and more chips to the player at his direct left, Tarvi Apsolon. Three recent hands, Apsolon has called two streets betted by Piik, the action has gone check-check at the river, and Apsolon has claimed the pot with top pair. By the looks of it, he is now the chip leader.

Chip leader Martin Piik opened to 800,000 from the Hi-jack. Seated right next to him, Tarvi Apsolon moved all in for 3,050,000 from the Cut-off. “How much is that?” Piik requested a count from the dealer.
