Vanloot continued on the aggressive path with a 750,000 bet on the 2♦5♠3♦ flop, and Piik made the call. On the scary 4♥ turn, Vanloot repeated his 750,000 bet. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Piik then moved all in for 4,100,000. Vanloot let go of his hand fairly quickly, and Piik won the considerable pot.

Robin Vanloot opened to 400,000 from UTG+1 before Jarmo Salonen moved all in for 2,250,000 from the Small Blind. Once the decision was back on Vanloot, he made the call without hesitation.

It was a classic coin flip confrontation. Vanloot took a solid lead on the 8♣K♠8♥ flop. The Q♠2♣ runout didn’t help Salonen, and he was eliminated in ninth place for €4,049. Still an impressive run from Salonen, who made the final table despite being down to 5,000 on Blinds 20,000/40,000 (and UTG, for that matter) earlier during the tournament.

It’s the fifth day of the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, and it’s only getting hotter and hotter at Olympic Park Casino & Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel.

Today will be the biggest and most memorable day of the festival so far, seeing as the first two WSOP Circuit Ring Event winners will be crowned. The €350 Mini Main Event final table will kick off at 12:00, and it’s surreal that only nine players remain from the record-breaking field that consisted of 1,162 entries. Hannes Kert will begin the final phase of the tournament as the chip leader, and together with four other Estonians, he will do his best to keep the coveted trophy on Estonian soil. Meanwhile, Finland’s Jarmo Salonen is trying to pull off something utterly insane; he had 5,000 UTG during Blinds 20,000/40,000, and against all odds, he’s now amongst the top nine. If he wins, physics are defied. Below are the final table presumptions. They’re all guaranteed €4,049, and fighting for €54,300 up top.

One hour later, Day 2 of Ring Event #2: €555 PLO4/5 will kick off. Day 1 was played yesterday and registered 282 entries. It played down to 15% of the field, and all the 42 players who made it through are guaranteed a €1,120 min-cash. Up top is €29,280 waiting for the winner; maybe Sami Säämänen has already started dreaming about the juicy payout, the prestigious title, and the legendary ring, considering he’s the current chip leader. It won’t be a walk in the park, though, as there are many competent PLO enthusiasts still in the mix.

While “only” two Ring Event winners will be crowned today, the two final starting-day flights of Ring Event #3: €555 NLH are also on the schedule. Fifty-nine players made it through from Day 1a, and they were joined by another 19 from Day 1b. It’s worth mentioning that in this tournament, players will be able to register during the first two levels of Day 2 (Tuesday, July 28) as well.

As if there wasn’t already enough Ring Event action, Ring Event #4: €350 NLH Queens will also kick off with Day 1 at 15:00 today. The expectations are high for the ladies’ event, and reigning champion Drea Karlsen is on-site in Tallinn, ready to defend her title.

Of course, today’s schedule also includes several side events, as well as a couple of satellites, for example, the €150 Mega Satellite for the €1,500 Main Event with 10 tickets guaranteed. Check out the full schedule below.

Norway’s Steffen Gjelseth opened to 1,500,000 on the Button, leaving himself with 90,000 behind. Seated right next to him, Estonian Silver Simulask re-shoved. Once the decision was back on Gjelseth, he made the call for his tournament life.

Gjelseth was in good shape to double up on the final table bubble, but the Poker Gods had other plans. Simulask flopped an open-ended straight draw on Q♥9♠10♥, and the 8♣ turn sealed the deal. After a ceremonial 3♦ river, Gjelseth bid farewell, and the remaining nine players are now bagging their chips. They’ll be united with them tomorrow at 12:00, when the final table kicks off.

The final table chip counts will be included in tomorrow’s preview post; they can be viewed already now on the WSOP Live app. Finland’s Jarmo Salonen could be the one who writes the story of the tournament; on Blinds 20,000/40,000, he was UTG with 5,000. That’s right; one eighth of a Big Blind. Now, against all odds, he’s at the final table. Were he to win it, it would be one heck of a feat.

On Blinds 60,000/120,000 in the €350 Mini Main Event, Finland’s Ville-Tapio Mesiranta made it 240,000 from the Cut-off. Seated on the Button, Estonian Hannes Kert three-bet to 635,000. After spending three minutes in the tank, Mesiranta forced his opponent all in for 2,705,000 in total. After a heavy sigh and some consideration, Kert made the call.

Kert was ahead, but the 10♥3♥5♦ flop wasn’t the worst one possible for Mesiranta. The 7♦ turn gave him even more hope, but the 2♥ river ultimately secured Kert a full double-up. “Sick call,” Mesiranta saluted his opponent, gracious in defeat.

Kert is now up to 5,710,000, while Mesiranta plays 730,000.

They are down to 13 in the €350 Mini Main Event after the final Swede in the tournament, Olof Höglin, open-shoved 665,000 from the Cut-off. After getting the count confirmed, Norway’s Steffen Gjelseth made the call from the Big Blind.

Höglin received additional outs in the Q♣10♠A♣ flop, but he then lost a lot of outs as Gjelseth improved to a set on the 5♦ turn. The A♦ was synonymous with the final nail in the coffin, and Höglin was eliminated in fourteenth place for €2,610. That means that the trophy won’t stay in Sweden, seeing as no compatriot of reigning champion Simon Hesserud Persson is left in the field.

Steffen Gjelseth plays roughly 2,000,000 after the hand. Blids are currently 60,000/120,000.

Day 1a of Ring Event #3: €555 NLH has wrapped up. All in all, the tournament scored 141 entries, and 59 players survived Level 10. Norway’s Kenneth Svendsen ended the flight as the chip leader, bagging 189,000. Spain’s David Marfil (185,000) and Italy’s Daniele Intilisano (179,500) are both not far behind, though.

Those who didn’t make it through may be interested in taking another shot in Day 1b, which kicked off about 45 minutes ago.

There are 17 players left in the €350 Mini Main Event, and they are currently battling it out on Level 26 (featuring Blinds 50,000/100,000).

On the five-handed table, Robin Vanloot min-raised to 200,000 UTG. Ville-Tapio Mesiranta then made it 650,000 on the Big Blind, and Vanloot decided to pull the trigger. He moved all in for 3,480,000. After receiving the count and considering his options for a minute or two, Mesiranta decided to make the call.

Jiretorn and Tanneur were the shortest and the second shortest stacks in the tournament; they realized the magnitude of this hand.

Assersen and Franke in particular are looking for redemption; Franke bubbled the €350 Open-Face Chinese yesterday, and Assersen finished in second place after coming up short against Riku Koivurinne.

The remaining six players in the €555 Open-Face Chinese are on the bubble; it’s getting rather interesting.

Sweden’s Eva “Chic” Jiretorn was playing her hand, while her opponent, Johnny Johansen, was in Fantasy Land. At the last draw, Jiretorn picked up 8♠8♣7♦; she completed her bottom row with the two eights, and doing so, she qualified:

Last year, Chmielowski finished second in the prestigious €1,500 Main Event, after Jenny Westerlund eliminated both him and Igor Pihela Sr in the same hand. Joona Nyholm is one of the players in the €555 PLO4/5. While he’s chasing his first live poker title (according to The Hendon Mob), Nyholm has proved to be a very competent PLO player. In fact, during the 2023 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, he came very close to claiming his first trophy when he finished as the runner-up in a €150 PLO4/5 side event. He’s not that shabby of a Texas player, either; one could argue Nyholm’s big breakthrough came earlier this year, when he finished ninth in the €5,300 Main Event during the 2026 WSOP Europe in Prague.

Ring Even #3: €555 NLH kicked off roughly one hour ago, with its first out of a total of four starting-day flights. Tarmo Tammel is perhaps the most familiar name in the Day 1a field thus far. The reigning champion, Toni Niinivaara, isn’t in the field yet, but he busted the €350 Mini Main Event not too long ago, so he should be at the premises.

The second WSOP Circuit Ring Event of the festival, the €555 PLO4/5, will kick off in roughly 20 minutes. It’s a two-day event; today’s Day 1 will play down to 15% of the field, and those who make it to tomorrow’s Day 2 will all be in the money. Late registration will be open for the first 10 30-minute levels; in other words, registration should close around 21:00.

Last year, the tournament attracted 268 entries, which translated to a €127,300 prize pool. Georgia’s Andria Gogelidze won the tournament for €27,100, and time will tell whether the reigning champion shows up to defend his title. As impressive as his tournament win was last year, he almost did something even more extraordinary, as he finished third in the €1,100 PLO4/5 Ring Event a few days later.

Just like in the €350 Open-Face Chinese yesterday, the ongoing €555 Open-Face Chinese has attracted some of the best players of the game. Yesterday’s champion Riku Koivurinne, virtuoso Fabian Bartuschk (with five Open-Face Chinese titles on his Hendon Mob profile), Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, and many more skillful “OFC” players.

OlyBet Poker Tournament Director Teresa Nousainen has just welcomed all 175 remaining players in Day 2 of the €350 Mini Main Event, and the dealers are now distributing the first cards.

At the same time, the €555 Open-Face Chinese Pineapple has kicked off. Finland’s Riku Koivurinne won yesterday’s €350 edition of the tournament, and he will return today and chase the back-to-back. While he’s not currently registered for the tournament, prominent names such as Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, Jari Mähönen, and Fabian Bartuschk are all in.

It’s Day 4 of the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, and boy, is this going to be a big day.

Not one, not two, but three different WSOP Circuit Ring Events are apparent on today’s schedule. First and foremost, Day 2 of the €350 Mini Main Event kicks off at noon. The record-breaking tournament attracted 1,162 entries in total, which translates to a €342,209 prize pool. All 175 players who are coming back for Day 2 are guaranteed €700, but they are fighting for the €54,300 up top. Finland’s Ville-Tapio Mesiranta has earned himself the best presumptions for a deep run, as he’s beginning Day 2 as the overall chip leader (1,500,000), but anything can happen.

Then, at 14:00, it’s time for the second WSOP Circuit Ring Event of the festival, namely the €555 PLO4/5. It’s a two-day event, and today, it will play down to 15% of the field. Georgia’s Andria Gogelidze is the reigning champion; time will tell if he shows up to defend his title.

The third and final Ring Event of the day is the €555 NLH, and there are two starting-day flights of this ever-so-popular tournament on today’s schedule. Late registration will be open during the first two levels of Day 2 (i.e., it closes 13:40 on July 28), and all starting-day flights are playing 10 levels. Finland’s Toni Niinivaara is the reigning champion.

The bubble has burst in Day 1c of the €350 Mini Main Event.

It all played out at Table 4. On Blinds 5,000/10,000, Latvia’s Lauris Krievs limped UTG. Three players made the call, including Lithuania’s Sigitas Raila on the Button. Action was checked to Krievs on the J♠10♥Q♠ flop, and he continued for 13,000. One player made the call before Raila made it 60,000. Back to Krievs, who moved all in for around 200,000 in total. The unidentified player folded before Raila committed his 120,000 stack to make the call for his tournament life.

Raila was trailing with two pair against the flopped nut straight of Krievs. Krievs improved to the nut flush on the 8♠ turn, and the 2♥ river ultimately sealed the deal. Raila was eliminated in seventieth place, and the remaining 69 players all received a bag for their ceramic chips. They’ll be reunited with them tomorrow, Sunday, July 26, when Day 2 kicks off at 12:00.

There are currently nine players left in the €350 PLO5/PLO5 Hi-Lo. As previously mentioned, five places will get paid, and by the looks of it, Sweden’s Thomas Grähs is the current chip leader. This is not surprising, considering Grähs won the €200 PLO4/5 Hi-Lo during the 2026 Kings of Tallinn a few months ago. Grähs just knows this game, and this poker.pro journalist wouldn’t be surprised to see Grähs claim the title. The same goes for Riku Koivurinne in the €350 Open-Face Chinese, which is down to its final three players.

The bubble has burst in the €555 NLH 6-Handed.

During the very first hand after hand-for-hand was announced, Feras Abid opened to 15,000 from the Cut-off on the 7-handed table (Blinds 2,000/5,000). The second smallest stack, Paavo Vaeinoe Mikael Saeynaejaervi, moved all in for 38,000 from the Big Blind, after a minute’s worth of pondering. Abid made the call without hesitation.

Quite unfortunate for Saeynaejaervi, and no help for him, as the board spelled out K♣10♣5♠Q♠A♠. He became the unfortunate bubble boy, while the remaining six players all reached the money. Moments later, Sweden’s Dennis Berglin was eliminated in sixth place for €1,164. The winner will be €5,943 richer.

Late registration in Day 1d of the €350 Mini Main Event is still open for another two hours. The total number of entries so far reads 1,076, meaning the record (954) that was set last year got broken quite some time ago. Marvelous news, and the current €316,882 prize pool can be expected to grow even bigger.

One of poker’s biggest legends, Vladimir “Gambledore” Korzinin, has officially made his first buy-in during the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, as he entered the €200 NLH Deep Stack. In other words, entertainment is guaranteed.

Late registration has closed in Day 1c of the €350 Mini Main Event. The tournament scored 458 players, and 130 are currently in.

One player who registered for the tournament at the very last minute was Sweden’s Robin Wikemar. On his very first hand, he open-shoved his 40,000 starting stack (i.e., 10 Big Blinds) from the Hi-jack. Seated on the Button, Enea Subashi made the call.

“Could be over quick,” Wikemar told this poker.pro live reporter once he saw what he was up against. He snorted as the dealer dealt the dull 5♥5♦8♦ flop. No miracle on the 9♦J♠ runout, and he’s now entering Day 1d instead. Speaking of the final starting-day flight on the Mini Main Event, late registration is open for another two hours. The players are currently on a break, and Estonian Hannes Kert appears to be the chip leader with 143,000 on Blinds 1,000/1,500.

The players in Day 1c of the €350 Mini Main Event are now midway through their 60-minute dinner break. Below are the top 10 biggest stacks.

The payouts have been announced in the €555 NLH 6-Handed. All in all, the tournament scored 35 entries, which has translated to a €16,625 prize pool. Nine players are left, and six of them will be paid. Up top is a juicy €5,943 prize. Sweden’s Robin Wikemar, an acquaintance with this poker.pro live reporter, is still in the field, but reportedly did a “Bad hero call with a pair of nines” recently. His words, not mine.

The poker legend that is Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, unfortunately, became the unfortunate one to bubble the €350 Open-Face Chinese.

He started what was going to become his final hand by distributing his first five cards:

On his first drawing round, Franke improved to a pair in the middle row, and left the door open for a possible straight at the bottom:

He didn’t get optimal cards on his second drawing round. He decided to improve to aces on the top, as well as pairing his ten at the bottom row:

On his third drawing round, he found a three, but realized it would be too dangerous to put it in the middle, especially considering many queens, jacks, and tens were already out. Instead, he put it on the top, and put a six on he middle row:

“Six ten, six ten, six ten,” Franke was praying as the dealer gave him his final three cards. He found the 6♣ to clean up his middle row, but the 4♦2♣ couldn’t see him improving to a superior two-pair on the bottom row. He started fake-crying, and then said, “Look at this!” as he saw that one of his opponents had found two cards that would have kept Franke alive, namely Q♦10♦. As his opponents were playing:

…they fiested on Franke’s remaining chips/points, and he became the unfortunate bubble boy. Being a crowd favorite in Tallinn, players and spectators were sad to see Franke go, but, perhaps, also a little bit relieved, considering he’s a very prominent player with a whopping seven Open-Face Chinese titles to his name. Perhaps Franke will be back tomorrow for redemption, seeing as Event #29: €555 Open-Face Chinese kicks off at 12:00.

Meanwhile, the remaining eight players are all guaranteed €720, and they’re continuing to battle it out for the €5,476 up-top. Finland’s Riku Koivurinne, who, together with Fabian Bartuschk, is arguably one of the best Open-Face Chinese players that there is, seems to have a very healthy stack.

As of right now, 914 entries have been made in the €350 Mini Main Event across all flights. Late registration is still open for roughly 2 hours in Day 1c, and Day 1d just recently started. Considering the tournament got 954 entries last year, it’s on a steady course to set a new record.

Last year, Sweden’s Simon Hesserud Persson received €45,700 when he won the tournament. It wouldn’t be surprising if this year’s winner walks away with even more.

The payouts have been announced in the €350 Open-Face Chinese. A total of 57 entries has yielded a €16,786 prize pool, and the top eight players will get paid. Finland’s Dennis Wikholm seems to be the chip leader at this moment (or do you say “point leader”?). Much to this poker journalist’s surprise, Fabian Bartuschk is out. Riku Koivurinne is still in, though. Once again, it’s a very respectable field.

The €350 PLO5/PLO5 Hi-Lo kicked off roughly 20 minutes ago. Finnish poker legend Aki Pyysing is one of the 11 players currently in. Fun fact: Pyysing won a WSOP Circuit Ring during the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, as he emerged victorious in the €350 PLO4/5 Progressive Bounty.

As previously stated, there are a lot of competent players in the €350 Open-Face Chinese. Two of them, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk and Riku Koivurinne, even have a WSOP Circuit Ring to their names. Below is a breakdown of the seven players with the most live earnings (source: The Hendon Mob).

With two more levels of late registration, there are currently 30 players in the €350 Open-Face Chinese (the tournament has scored 45 entries so far). It’s a very competent field with players such as Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, Tobias Napel, Sascha Manns, Lena Björn, Eva “chic” Jiretorn, and Jari Mähönen.

But the two biggest names in an “OFC” context are arguably Fabian Bartuschk and Riku Koivurinne. Koivurinne is the reigning champion, and he beat Bartuschk to claim the title last year. Two months prior to that, the same two players were the top two left in the €350 Open-Face Chinese Championship during the 2025 Irish Poker Open. In that one, Koivurinne also got the better of his opponent. That being said, Bartuschk has five Open-Face Chinese tournament wins on his Hendon Mob profile; the most recent one came just a few weeks ago in Bratislava, Slovakia.

All and all, the ongoing tournament will be an absolute thrill to follow.

It’s a glorious Saturday, and it’s the third day of the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. There were immense action at Olympic Park Casino & Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel yesterday, and there’s no sign of it slowing down today.

First out is Day 1c of the €350 Mini Main Event, and the third and penultimate starting-day flight kicked off just a few minutes ago at 12:00. Day 1d is scheduled to 17:30, and that’s the last chance for people to qualify for Day 2 (which will be played tomorrow, Sunday, August 26, at 12:00). The poker.pro editorial office will soon post the chip counts from yesterday’s 1b flight.

On the image is Swedish poker entreprenour Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, and the reason that he’s on the feautured picture in today’s preview article is because he is a big Open-Face Chinese enthusiast. They €350 Open-Face Chinese Pineapple kicks off at 12:30, and it’s arguably one of the most intriguing side events on today’s schedule. That’s a claim the Texas lovers might disagree with; they might aim their focus towards the €555 NLH 6-Handed instead, while the four-card enthusiasts lock horns in the €555 PLO4/5.

The third break in Day 1b of the €350 Mini Main Event just concluded, meaning late registration is closed. A total of 241 entries were registered, and 68 players are in. They are playing down to 15% of the field, and all who make Day 2 will be in the money.

There are four players left in the €200 PL T.O.R.S.E.S. Sweden’s Lena Björn was the first one to bust after the players got in the money; she claimed the €400 min-cash.

Eleven players remain out of the 36 total entries in the €555 NLH Progressive Bounty. Six players will be paid; the first-place payout is €2,955.

In he €200 NLH with €50 Bounties, there are 43 players left. The tournament attracted 143 unique entries, and the top 22 will get paid. Up top is €4,175.

Last but not least, late registration is still open in the €200 PLO4/5 Bomb Pot, and the €170 Target Stack Satellite to the €1,500 Main Event. The said satellite has 10 tickets guaranteed.

Norway’s Johnny Johansen became the unfortunate bubble boy of the €200 PL T.O.R.S.E.S., meaning the remaining five players are all in the money. The are guaranteed a €400 min-cash, and are all fightning for the €1,640 first-place payout and the title.

Finland’s Risto Poennioe seems to be the current chip leader with 394,000. The current level (16) features Blinds 4,000/8,000, and Call or Make it 8,000-28,000.

There are 10 minutes left of late registration in the €555 NLH Progressive Bounty. Nineteen players are currently in out of the 34 entries registered so far. Here’s your daily reminder of the $5,000 package added to all WSOP Circuit Ring Event winners.

Just like always, the winner of each WSOP Circuit Ring Event will not only walk away with the trophy and the first-place prize. All Ring Event winners will also receive a $5,000 added package to the 2026 WSOP Paradise. Played in the Bahamas, it’s one of the most luxurious live poker events that exists. The package includes an entry to the 2026 WSOP Paradise Circuit Championship, six nights of accommodations, and access to the complimentary buffet.

The fifth event of the day (counting satellites), the €555 NLH Progressive Bounty, kicked off roughly 30 minutes ago. Right now, there are 14 players in. With the progressive bounty being €200, it should be an action-packed affair. The most recognizable name in the field as of now is Guillermo “GGordo” Gordo. His last endeavor in Tallinn wasn’t too shabby; he finished twelfth in the €1,100 Main Event for €10,750 during the 2026 Kings of Tallinn.

Even though the €350 Mini Main Event is the only Ring Event that has begun, this poker.pro live reporter can’t help himself, and needs to share his excitement over one certain tournament that will be played next Friday, August 31: Ring Event #9, the €555 Sviten.

Out of all the various poker disciplines, Sviten is arguably the one that brings the most action. Only good vibes are guaranteed in this PLO/Five-Card Draw Frankenstein of a game. During the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, Sviten was played as a certified Ring Event for the first time ever. It attracted a large crowd, including many Swedes. The game was, in fact, invented in Sviten by Anders “Bengan” Bengtsson, and many players vawing the blue/yellow flag wanted to prove that the Swedes are the best at Sviten. Three Swedes made the final table during last year’s event, but the title was ultimately claimed by Finland’s Jarkko Suokas, who beat Sweden’s Nicklas Nordblom heads-up.

All Sviten enthusiasts won’t have to wait a whole week before satisfying their needs, though. In total, there are six events on the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn schedule that include Sviten.

Artur Külanurk is one of the 104 players currently in Day 1b of the €350 Mini Main Event. During the 2023 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, Külanurk finished third in the €1,500 Main Event for an impressive €84,050. That has been the closest he’s been to a WSOP Circuit Ring so far, but he’s a man on a mission, and he has proved time and time again that he knows how to play cards at the level required.

Another familiar name has joined the €350 Mini Main Event Day 1b fun. Thomas Grähs’ last Tallinn adventure was a good one, seeing as he won the €200 PLO4/5 Hi-Lo during the 2026 Kings of Tallinn. The Swede is still missing a WSOP Circuit Ring to his name, though; perhaps he won’t much longer, if everything goes his way.

In roughly 10 minutes, the €200 PL T.O.R.S.E.S. will kick off. T.O.R.S.E.S. is a special twist on the more familiar game H.O.R.S.E. The games included in the T.O.R.S.E.S. are:

Today is the day when the upper floor of Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel opens up, and when the festival starts “for real.” That being said, yesterday’s stealth start didn’t disappoint, with big numbers in Day 1a of the €350 Mini Main Event. A total numbers of 139 entries were made in the tournament, and 21 players made it through to Day 2. Spaniard Joel Hernandez bagged the chip lead with 594,000; the poker.pro editorial office will soon return with the full Day 1a chip counts.

Day 1b is one of the highlights on today’s schedule which includes eight events in total, including satellites. The second flight of the first WSOP Circuit Ring Event will kick off at 14:00; before that, there’s another freebuy satellite at 13:00, with seven seats guaranteed. Intriguing side events includes the €200 T.O.R.S.E.S., the €555 NLH Progressive Bounty, and the €200 PLO4/5 Bomb Pot. Also worth mentioning is today’s €170 Target Stack Satellite to the prestigious €1,500 Main Event. Kicking off at 21:00, it’s the last event of the day, and with 10 seats guaranteed, it should be a popular affair. Players will start the tournament with 10,000, and once they reach 100,000, they will be able to cash out for a ticket.

Drea Karlsen (photo) was one of the 12 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Ring Events last year, and it’s safe to say she enjoyed her Bahamas trip. Time will tell which 12 players secure their tickets to paradise this year.

Sweden’s Simon Hesserud Persson is the reigning Mini Main Event champion, as he won the title last year. Back then, 954 entries translated to a €280,953 prize pool. Hesserud Persson got €45,700 alongside the coveted WSOP Circuit Ring.

Igor Pihela Sr is in Day 1a of the €350 Mini Main Event, and it’s a familiar name. Pihela Sr always attends the events at Olympic Park Casino & Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel, and he’s had some success at the WSOP Circuit Tallinn. Last year, he finished third in the €1,500 Main Event in thrilling fashion, as Jenny Westerlund knocked him and Krzysztof Chmielowski in the same hand to claim the title, becoming the second-ever female WSOP Circuit Main Event champion. The first one was Jessica “Lilith” Vierling, who won the $1,700 Main Event during the 2024 WSOP Circuit Los Angeles.

Day 1a of the €350 Mini Main Event is currently on Level 3. Late registration will be open through Level 12 (i.e., it will close around 22:00 tonight). All starting-day flights are playing down to 15% of the field, and everyone who makes Day 2 will be in the money.

Apart from the previously mentioned Rasmus Lundström and Martin Zobel, Taago Tamm is another prominent player in the field. He is chasing his first-ever WSOP Circuit Ring; during the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, he finished second in the €555 PLO4/5 Button Round Each for €18,000 (Andria Gogelidze won the tournament for €27,100). Perhaps this is the year that Tamm gets his hands on a coveted ring.

It’s quarter past three, and the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn is off to a stellar start. The freebuy satellite to the €350 Mini Main Event attracted quite a large crowd, as a total of 197 entries were registered. Rasmus Lundström, who won a WSOP Circuit ring during last year’s edition (as he won the €1,100 Mystery Bounty), was one of the players, but he only lasted a couple of hands.

He is now entering Day 1a of the Mini Main Event, which more or less just kicked off. There are currently 24 players in, including Germany’s Martin Zobel (who won the €555 Kings of Tallinn Championship back in February).

It’s not your average live poker festival that is about to take place, but one of a certain magnitude. Ladies and gentlemen: welcome to the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn.

It’s goosebumps all around. This is the fourth year the WSOP Circuit has touched Estonian soil, and the event has been growing bigger each time. That should be the case this time around as well, seeing as there are 12 prestigious rings to fight for. These 12 rings will all find their new owner(s) during the course of the upcoming week and a half.

At 15:00, the first starting-day flight (out of a total of four) will kick off, and there’s no reason for player not to take their shot at glory. The reigning champion of the tournament is Sweden’s Simon Hesserud Persson; he received €45,700 when he conquered the field that consisted of 954 entries last year. Perhaps the Swede till return to the Estonian capital to defend his title.

The third and final event of today will be a €80 Mega Satellite for the star of the show, namely the €1,500 Main Event. With five seats guaranteed, this is one of the best opportunities for players to secure their Main Event seat for a cheaper buck.
