WSOP Circuit Tallinn Heats Up as Four Winners Crowned and Mini Main Event Builds Momentum

The action ramped up on Friday at the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, powered by OlyBet Poker, as the festival migrated its tournaments to the massive arena in the Hilton Tallinn Park, with cash games running nonstop on the casino floor. The day witnessed multiple side events crowned while players also battled for a stack in the second opening flight of the €350 Mini Main Event for a chance at securing a huge payday and the first WSOP Circuit gold ring of the festival.

Four players walked away with trophies, led by Latvia’s Deniss Lebedevs, who topped the €200 PL T.O.R.S.E.S., while Lithuania’s Dominykas Buda emerged victorious in the €555 NLH Progressive Bounty after a heads-up deal. Estonia’s Ranel Kasi delivered a strong home victory in the €200 NLH Bounty, and Spain’s Rafael Pintado Barrantes added international flavor to the winners’ list by taking down the €200 PLO4/PLO5 Bomb Pot.

Meanwhile, attention also turned to Ring Event #1: €350 Mini Main Event, where Day 1b drew a competitive field of 241 entries to bring the total up to 376 entries across the first two opening flights with still two more to go on Saturday. Finland’s Ville Mesiranta bagged a commanding chip lead with 1,465,000 to take the overall lead over the 58 players currently advancing to Day 2. Spain’s David Santalla Marfil and Norway’s Fredrik Bratein rounded out the top three, while several Estonian players, including Karol Korm and Silver Simulask, kept local hopes alive heading into the weekend.

Deniss Lebedevs Wins €200 PL T.O.R.S.E.S.

The €200 PL T.O.R.S.E.S. brought in plenty of action. The traditional HORSE format was altered in two distinct ways. The game structure itself saw 2-7 Triple Draw sub in for Hold’em, with Sviten Special added at the end. The other change from the traditional structure is that this was played in pot-limit format, creating a fast and furious atmosphere for the 27 entries competing for a share of the €4,360 prize pool.

The final table was filled with familiar names from mixed game events during OlyBet-branded events and elsewhere. Latvia’s Deniss Lebedevs came out on top to win the €1,640 top prize after defeating Finnish poker veteran Risto Ponnio during heads-up action.

The €555 NLH Progressive Bounty attracted 36 entries to create €17,100 in prizes including €7,200 in progressive bounties.

Lithuania’s Dominykas Buda and Austria’s Jonas Klaus locked up the top payout of €2,955 each after Lithuania’s Tomas Kovalenka ran out of gas in third place for €1,490. Buda went on to collect the big bounty at the end after defeating Klaus to earn his trophy.

The local community had reason to celebrate with Estonia earning a trophy on home soil, Ranel Kasi defeating Latvia’s Janis Strautmalis heads-up to win the €4,175 top prize in addition to any bounties collected along the way.

The €200 PLO4/PLO5 Bomb Pot was added to the schedule based on player feedback and proved popular with 86 entries creating a €13,889 prize pool.

Finland’s Sami Pulliainen, a regular at OlyBet events in Tallinn over the years, made the final three alongside two players from Spain. It was not a Spanish heads-up affair after Guillermo Giner Ceballos finished third for €1,711. Spain did get its first trophy of the festival at the end, however, with Rafael Pintado Barrantes taking the €3,941 top prize after defeating Pulliainen, who earned €2,623 for his efforts.
