With his elimination of Gerhard Brimmers in second place, Darren Harbinson is now crowned the winner of the £230 Main Event during the 2026 THMC Nottingham. He conquered a field that consisted of 943 entries to claim the title, the trophy, the £26,750 first-place payout, and the £2,500 THMC South Africa package.

The first hand after the break, Aggarwal utilized four 30-second timebank chips before committing 600,000 out of his 800,000 stack to limp UTG. Guangdong Dai made it 1,500,000 from the Cut-off before Razin Sheikh moved all in for 11,500,000 from the Big Blind. Aggarwal used his last four timebank chips to keep stalling for the payjump, but, eventually, he made the call. Dai folded; Sheikh and Aggarwal tabled their holdings.

Darren Harbinson bagged 4,460,000 from yesterday’s 1c, and it’s he who enters the final day as the overall chip leader. There’s a long way to go, though, and he’s got his work cut out for him.

The tournament will kick off in just a few minutes on Blinds 20,000/40,000, with a 40,000 Ante. All 139 players are in the money, guaranteed £400. Up top is a juicy £26,750 first-plaec payout; the poker.pro editorial office will soon return with the full payouts.
