Four Ring Events on Day Four
Good morning, Tallinn! After a successful first weekend, the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn keeps rollin’ on like a train on the mainland, and the action will most certainly not slow down. The fourth day of the festival is a Monday for the ages, with the conclusion of the first two WSOP Circuit Ring Events on the schedule. As if that wasn’t enough, two more starting flights of Ring Event #3: the €555 NLH will be played, and Ring Event #4: NLH Queens will commence. There’s also some intriguing side events and some juicy satellites. Without further ado, let’s break down today’s schedule.
11-Tournament Schedule Features Four Ring Events
Arguably, the highlight of the day will be the conclusion of Ring Event #1: the €350 Mini Main Event. After a somewhat quick Day 2 yesterday, the nine remaining players will resume the battle at 12:00 today. They’re competing for the €45,700 first-place payout, the WSOP Circuit Event Ring, the “Ticket to Paradise”, and, of course, eternal poker glory.

The Dutch is off to a good start during the Festival; he finished third in the €350 Open-face Chinese for €2,310, and now, he’ll try to convert his fairly big chip lead to his first WSOP Circuit Ring.

Latvia 875,000 6 There will be one more Ring Event winner crowned today, though, as Ring Event #2: the €555 PLO4/5 will also play until only one player is standing. 26 players bagged from Day 1, and the remaining warriors will take their seats at 13:00.
The first starting flight of the Ring Event #3: the €555 NLH, was played yesterday, and 111 players made it to Day 2. That means €102,600 has been contributed to the prize pool. Day 1b and 1c are both of today’s schedule; it’s worth mentioning that late registration will be open until the conclusion of Level 12, but all starting flights play ten levels. That means, players can register during the first two levels of Day 2.
Ring Event #4: the €350 NLH Queens will kick off at 13:00. Presumably, there will be many ladies ready to put all their poker skills on full display, and Day 1 will be played until 15 % of the field remains.
These four Ring Events aside, there’s loads of more action in the form of side events and satellites. Today’s schedule is most certainly filled to the brim.

Open-face Chinese Champion Koivurinne is Hungry for More
Riku Koivurinne, winner of the €350 Open-face Chinese during the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. Photo: Elena Kask Last night’s winner of the €350 Open-face Chinese, Riku Koivurinne, just returned to the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel after what hopefully was a good night’s rest. He took his winner’s picture with the trophy, and before he jumped into the €555 PLO4/5 Ring Event, he was kind enough to give poker.pro five minutes for a small chat.
Rumors has it Koivurinne arrived later than expected to Tallinn yesterday on account of traffic in Helsinki to the ferry. Allegedly, his plan was to play the €350 Mini Main Event after he busted the OFC. “Yet, I won the last OFC tournament I played, so you never know”, he added at the end of the quote, and now, here we are.
Riku Koivurinne took his second straight Open-face Chinese title, as he won the €350 Event during the 2025 Irish Poker Open as well. Photo: Evelyn Rom/Irish Poker Open As insane as this sounds, yesterday’s heads-up duel against Fabian Bartuschk was actually a repeat of the €350 Open-face Chinese event during the 2025 Irish Poker Open. Koivurinne got the best of his German opponent on both occasions:
“I kind of felt a little bad for Fabian both here and in Dublin because I ran really good. I really enjoy OFC; it’s a really fun game, you don’t have to stress, you just play your game and have a chat with the other players. It’s very enjoyable.”
Considering this poker.pro reporter is very novice when it comes to OFC, I curiously asked Koivurinne about the variance in the game:
“People feel like OFC is a high-variance game, but in my opinion it’s on the lower side; especially if the structure is as good as it was here.”
Riku Koivurinne also won the €1,100 PLO4/5 during the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, claiming his first ring. Photo: Elena Kask It’s safe to say the Finn is a worthy OFC winner. He’s spent time studying the game and playing a lot online, which may not always be the case with all Mixed Games players. OFC isn’t the only discipline Koivurinne is prominent in, though; during the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, he won his first Circuit Ring when he emerged victorious in the €1,100 PLO4/5. When asked what event he’s looking forward to the most this coming week, he can’t decide whether it’s the €1,100 8-Game or the €555 Sviten. Luckily, the schedule allows him to play both tournaments.
At the end of our talk, Koivurinnen has a message to all 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn players:
“Play the Mixed Games. They’re a lot of fun and, in my opinion, the most enjoyable forms poker. It’s because the Mixed Games players are always good people and are in it for the fun.”
It’ll be exciting to follow Koivurinnen’s progress this week, and perhaps, he’ll claim his second WSOP Circuit Ring.

Tuominen is Out
Photo: Elena Kask A short-stacked Lauri Tuominen moved all in for 165,000 from the Cut-off. “165,000, you say?” Arasch Mirzai asked for confirmation. “Then I have to call,” he said as he put in the extra 105,000 required from the Big Blind.
Lauri Tuominen: A♦4♥
Arasch Mirzai: 5♣3♠Things were looking good for Tuominen, but the Q♦5♦K♦ saw Mirzai hitting a pair of fives. He dodged the many outs of Tuominen as the board completed with 10♥7♥. Such, Tuominen was eliminated.

Luck of the Irish
Photo: Elena Kask Level 24: 25,000/50,000 (50,000) Entries: 35/954 Prizes: €280,953 UTG, Irishman Jim O’Neill moved all in for 340,000. Lauri Tuominen re-shoved for roughly 1,300,000 from UTG+1, and the two of them eventually went to showdown.
Jim O’Neill: K♣J♥
Luri Tuominen: A♣J♦Tuominen had his opponent in rough shape from the get-go, and he was still way ahead on the 5♣9♣8♥ flop. Things were still looking good on the 7♦ turn, but with the K♦ on the river, O’Neill hit a magical three-outer to stay alive in the €350 Mini Main Event.

Tarmi Chasing Third WSOP Circuit Ring
Roope Tarmi. Photo: Elena Kask Level 20: 10,000/20,000 (20,000) Entries: 102/954 Prizes: €280,953 There are a few former WSOP Circuit Tallinn Ring Event winners still going strong in the €350 Mini Main Event. One of them is Roope Tarmi; he managed to win the €3,000 6-handed NLH in 2023 and claimed his first bracelet. Then, he won the exact same tournament in 2024. He’s proved countless of times he masters the short-handed format; will this perhaps be the year he captures a full-rig title?

Day 3 is Upon Us
The 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. Photo: Elena Kask It’s day three of the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, and today is quite the hectic day. With no fewer than three Ring Events on the schedule. It’s going to be yet another day of intriguing poker action in the Estonian capital.
First out is Day 2 of the €350 Mini Main Event. The three starting flights combined attracted 954 entries. This translates to a €280,953 prize pool, and the 142 players who’re set to take their seats today at noon are ready to fight for the biggest slice of it. They are all guaranteed a €700 min-cash. Today, the Mini Main is playing down to a final table. Play will resume at Level 19: Blinds 10,000/15,000, with a 15,000 Ante.

This is the only starting flight of this two-day affair, and today, they will play down to 18 players. Eight players secured their seat for this tournament through yesterday’s satellite, and the number of entries chasing Omaha glory is expected to be a big one.
The €555 NLH is the third Ring Event. The first out of three starting day flights is scheduled to 17:00 today, and play will conclude after ten 30-minute levels. German Phil Gross is the title defender; last year, he claimed €55,210 as he conquered a field of 867 entries. Perhaps there’ll be similar numbers this year.
While these are the highlights of the day, there are some fun and intriguing side events and satellite action. For example, players have an excellent opportunity to claim their ticket for the €1,500 Main Event for a cheaper price; the €150 Satellite commences at 21:30 and has a guaranteed ten seats.
What’s more, all ladies can partake in the Freebuy Satellite to the €350 NLH Queens, aka Ring Event number four. The satellite, which starts at 14:00, is free to enter, and re-buys and add-ons are €20 each.

Longest Bubble in Northern Europe
The 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. Photo: Elena Kask Level 20: 10,000/15,000 (15,000) Entries: 15/141 Prizes: €11,492 The poker.pro live reporting team thought it might be a good idea to quickly catch the bubble in the €200 Progressive.
“Quickly?” Oh, how foolish.
It took close to a full hour for the bubble to burst. There were multiple all-ins and calls, and the short stack even managed to double up. At one point, there was an all-in and call-situation on all three tables (three-way on one of them), and still, no player went out in eighteenth place.
Then, thunder struck. With a four-way all in.
It was Irmantas Bzeskis who moved all in for 70,000 from the Cut-off. Then, big-stacked Frederico Dos Santos re-shoved for perhaps 260,000 from the Button. Action didn’t stop there, though; Mykyta Ivanov committed all of his 80,000. Seated in the Big Blind, Santeri Yliselä completed the chaotic action by putting all his 48,000 on the line.
Irmantas Bzeskis: K♥K♦
Frederico Dos Santos: A♠Q♥
Mykyta Ivanov: 10♠10♣
Santeri Yliselä: J♦9♥What an insane situation, and Dos Santos who had all his opponents at risk completed a triple K.O as the board ran out 6♣6♥A♥A♣7♠.
Being the shortest stack, Yliselä didn’t cash (except for some bounties), and Bzeskis and Ivanov both claimed the €201 min-cash.

One of the earlier exits after late registration closed was Drea Karlsen. Tarmo Tammel had opened to 6,000 from UTG, and Pertti Salakari had made the call. From the Button, Karlsen then moved all in for 83,000, and she was called by Tammel.
Drea Karlsen: K♦Q♥
Tarmo Tammel: K♠K♣“Let’s hit a straight,” a positive Karlsen urged to the poker Gods. “It’s not looking good,” she continued on the 8♥2♥2♠ flop. The board completed with 2♦6♦ and her fate in Day 1b was sealed. Perhaps she chooses to enter Day 1c, which currently has 133 players in.

A player in middle position called, before Mykhailo Mikhalov raised to 22,500 from the Big Blind. Lundström made the call, and the unknown player in middle position folded.
Mikhalov checked on the J♥8♦7♠ flop, and Lundström sensed an opportunity to take over the aggression. He bet 28,000. Mikhalov made the call, and the 9♥ was dealt on the river. Mikhalov checked again; Lundström now fired a 36,000 bet, big enough to make Mikhalov fold.
Fun fact: just like Lundström, Mikhalov is also a former WSOP Circuit Tallinn Ring Event winner. Last year, he won the €350 Deepstack for €25,115.

Reigning WSOP Circuit Tallin Winners
A ring from the 2024 WSOPC Tallinn. Photo: Elena Kask Considering it’s been a year since the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, it’s time to refresh who claimed the prestigious WSOP Circuit Rings last year. Some of the players, such as Rasmus Lundström and Riku Koivurinne, are already on-site and has begun their ring hunt for 2025. Presumably, more of last year’s conquerors will show up later during the festival and defend their titles.

Koivurinne Knows his OFC
Riku Koivurinne during the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. Photo: Elena Kask Level 8: Point: 1,000 Entries: 27/42 Prizes: TBA Riku Koivurinne should be a serious contender for the €350 Open-face Chinese title. He’s a master of Mixed Games; during the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, he claimed his first circuit ring when he won the €1,100 PLO4/5 for €41,200, and how, he’s back for more.
In terms of Open-face Chinese, it’s safe to say Koivurinne is in good shape. Back in April, he won the €350 OFC event during the 2025 Irish Poker Open, conquering a field of 118 entries. It’s going to be exciting following his progress not only in today’s tournament, but throughout the festival.

Level 8: 600/1,200 (1,200) Entries: 230/319 Prizes: TBA Rasmus Lundström during the 2024 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. During the 2024 edition, Rasmus Lundström won the €1,100 Mystery Bounty for €19,850 (bounties not included) and claimed his first ring. Two days later, he came extremely close at capturing another ring, as he finished as the runner-up in the €555 Progressive Bounty. Perhaps, this will be the year he claims his second ring, as well as the “Ticket to Paradise”.

Mini Main Event Keeps on Rollin’
A ring from the 2024 WSOPC Tallinn. Photo: Elena Kask Level 6: 500/1,000 (1,000) Entries: 232/288 Prizes: TBA The number of entries in Day 1b of the €350 Mini Main Event is growing bigger by the minute, and no doubt will this be a very big tournament.
UTG+1, Lauri Tuominen opened to 2,200. Justus Kursi (Lo-jack) and Urmas Möttus (Hi-jack) both made the call.
Action was checked around on the 9♣5♥A♣ flop. On the K♠ turn, Tuominen bet 6,000, and Kursi was the sole caller. Tuominen continued with a 4,000 bet on the 3♣ river, and Kursi made the call.
Tuominen revealed A♥Q♥. Kursi couldn’t beat it and mucked his hand.

€200 Progressive Bounty is Starting
Level 1: 100/100 (100) Entries: 40/40 Prizes: TBA Photo: Elena Kask The Terminator (1985), Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Terminator: Salvation (2009), Terminator: Genisys (2015), and Terminator :Dark Fate (2019).
Perhaps, the seventh installment in the popular film series will be about the €200 Progressive Bounty that is just about to start. Nothing beats the thrill of a live poker bounty tournament, and this will surely be a blockbuster of a tournament.
During last year’s WSOP Circuit Tallinn, Finland’s Atush Esker won the event (which then held a €350 buy-in). He navigated his way through the field that consisted of 146 entries and won €5,005 excluding bounties. He’s not one of the 40 players who’s in the field from the get-go, but perhaps, he’ll make his appearance during the late-reg period.

Külanurk is out…or is he?
Seated in the Hi-jack, Risto Pärnat opened to 1,800 on blinds 400/800. Mykyta Ivanov called from the Button, before Artur Külanurk moved all in for 18,400 from the Big Blind. After some consideration, Pärnat made the call before Ivanov folded.
Artur Külanurk: A♠5♠
Risto Pärnat: A♥J♥Pärnat was way ahead, and even picked up a flush draw on the 8♥2♥K♠ flop. The turn was the 8♠, and when the river came 7♠, Külanurk went up and starting walking out of the tournament area. The Hunt for the OFC Trophy Begins
Many players, including Scott “Pokerbrahs” Kenyon, Eva “Chic” Jirestrom, Lena Bjorn, and Siim Suviste, were practicing their Open-face Chinese Pineapple skills last night in the lobby of the Hilton Tallinn Park in anticipation for today’s €350 Open-face Chinese Pineapple tournament.
None of those four players were yet in the field when the action kicked off at noon with 10 entries, however, there is still plenty of time with late registration still open. Bjorn will soon be in the field as she was noticed getting ready to register.
Meanwhile, Sascha Manns and Tobias Napel are at the same table at least for the early action. Our live reporter Christoffer Karlen will be spending some time picking up on some of the fun of this event while Day 1b of the €350 Mini Main Event begins.

Mini Main Event Highlights Schedule for Day 2
A ring from the 2024 WSOPC Tallinn. Photo: Elena Kask After a successful Day 1, it’s time for the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn to kick off for real. Even though yesterday’s two tournaments generated astonishing numbers of entries, today is when play moves into the event facilities located on the second floor of the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. Today’s schedule features a delicious smorgasbord of events, and poker.pro is on-site, ready to cover every ounce of action.
Day 1b and 1c of the €350 Mini Main Event should be considered the main course of today’s menu. Yesterday’s Day 1a flight attracted 274 entries, and 41 players bagged for Day 2, which will be played tomorrow, Sunday the twenty-seventh. All Day 1-flights are being played down to 15 % of the field. Finland’s Ville-Matti Keränen bagged the chip lead from the first flight with 1,360,000.
The €350 Open-face Chinese is also an interesting nugget on today’s schedule. The 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn is heavy on the Mixed Games, and this is just the first non-Texas NLH tournament out of many for the ten-day festival.
There are also two €80 satellites later tonight. The €80 PLO5 Satellite has five tickets guaranteed to the second WSOP Circuit Ring Event, the €555 PLO4/5. The €80 Texas NLH Satellite has a whopping ten tickets guaranteed to the €555 NLH, aka Ring Event number three.
Last but not least, there’s a €200 Progressive Bounty tournament kicking off at 15:00. With €80 progressive bounties, this tournament should attract all intrigued bounty hunters.

Mini Main Action Kicks Off the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn
The 2025 WSOPC Tallinn will be played July 25-August 3 at the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel & Olympic Park Casino. Only a couple of hours into the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, and it’s safe to say the event is off to a promising start. In fact, the Freebuy Satellite to the €350 Mini Main Event attracted an astonishing 227 entries. 17 unique players all got their hands on a ticket to the first ring event (out of a total 12).
Considering all poker today is being played solely in the casino and not in the Hilton’s event facilities, the overwhelming interest in the satellite forced Day 1a of the Mini Main Event to be slightly postponed. As of right now, 143 players are in what has to be considered the highlight of the first weekend.
Reminder that the poker.pro live coverage will kick off tomorrow. A list of those who made it through Day 1a of the Mini Main Event will also be provided then.

The 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Kicks off Today
The 2025 WSOPC Tallinn will be played July 25-August 3 at the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel & Olympic Park Casino. Photo credit: Elena Kask Today marks the beginning of the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. Between July 25 and August 3, it’s going to be a prestigious battle at the Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. With no fewer than 12 WSOP Circuit Ring Events – one of them being the €1,500 Main Event with a staggering €1,000,000 guarantee – there’s no doubt all contestants will put their full repertoire of poker skills on display.
And if the rings weren’t enough incentive already, there’s a massive bonus on the line: every winner of a WSOP Circuit ring event in Tallinn will also receive a $5,000 “Ticket to Paradise” for the 2025 WSOP Bahamas, including entry to the $2,500 WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty and a luxury stay in the Caribbean.
With that in mind, the schedule for the first weekend of the festival features quite an interesting potpourri of tournaments.
Three Ring Events this Weekend
Arguably, the €350 Mini Main Event is the star of the first weekend. Day 1a is scheduled to commence today at 16:00, while 1b and 1c both are played tomorrow, Saturday 26. Day 2 will be played on Sunday, and the survivors will move on to the grand final on Monday where a winner will be crowned.
Undoubtedly, the atmosphere at the Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel will be as good as last year. Photo: Elena Kask The Mini Main Event is a certified ring event, and that is also the case with the €555 NLH, as well as the €555 PLO4/5. Both tournaments have their first flights on Sunday (in fact, there is only one Day 1-flight for the PLO4/5).
While these three ring events are the three tournaments that should attract most players during the first weekend, there’s a lot more fun on the schedule. The €350 Open-face Chinese Pineapple (Saturday 26) should appeal to all Mixed Games enthusiasts, as is the case with the €200 NLH/PLO4/PLO5 (Sunday 27). What’s more, there is a €150 Mega Satellite to the €1,500 Main Event on Sunday with ten tickets guaranteed. That isn’t the only satellite this weekend, however; there are €80 satellites both for the €555 NLH, and the €555PLO4/5.
Needless to say, the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn will kick off with a flourish this weekend. It’s going to be a poker week to remember in the Estonian capital, and this is only the beginning. The poker.pro live reporting team will be on-site throughout the festival and report daily from July 26 to August 3. Make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action.
