Now, the latest opportunity for players to etch their name into PartyPoker history has arrived, with the tour descending on the Alea Casino in Glasgow from 3-9 August for its sixth stop of 2026.

With the city fresh off hosting a hugely successful Commonwealth Games, attention turns from the pool and track to the tables. It is the second time the tour has been hosted by the stunning venue on the banks of the River Clyde.

Last year, Zhen Zhen battled to Main Event glory, overcoming a 256-entry field to bank £22,500 after slaying a tough final table comprising David Lappin, PartyPoker Tour ambassador Jaime Staples, Kevin Frame and Dean Lyall. Zhen remains the only female winner of the £100,000 guaranteed flagship event in tour history.

In the first of four starting flights for the three-day event, players will sit down to a 40,000 starting stack, with the clock set to 30-minute levels. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 10, and 15% of the field qualify for Day 2.

Day 1c and Day 1d follow the same structure as previous flights, but with 20 and 15-minute blinds in play respectively.

Day 2 qualifiers will return at 4 p.m. on August 5 in the money, and play will continue until the final table is set, scheduled for 4 p.m. on August 6.

Plenty of good-natured patter went back and forth between the two, with McKee saying “It’s every time. This is getting personal now!”.

Players have two further opportunities to qualify for Day 2 on August 4, with Day 1b scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m, while turbo flight Day 1c kicks off at 8 p.m.

In Day 1b, players will sit down to a 40,000 starting stack, with the clock set to 30-minute levels. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 10, and 15% of the field qualify for Day 2.

Day 1c follows the same structure as previous flights, but with 20-minute blind levels in play. The final opportunity for players to qualify for Day 2 is Day 1d, scheduled for midday on August 5, which features 15-minute blind levels.

Day 2 survivors will return at 6 p.m. on August 5 in the money, and play will continue until the final table is set, scheduled for 4 p.m. on August 6.
