Nikunlassi Takes From Westerlund

Jari Nikunlassi Level 11: 1,000/1,500 (1,500) Entries: 310/930 Prizes: €1,000,000 The board read 2♦6♥3♠A♦5♠ with perhaps 20,000 in the middle. Jenny Westerlund (Lo-jack) bet 10,800, and the decision was on Jari Nikunlassi. He contemplated his decision for a minute or two before ultimately making the call.
Jenny Westerlund: J♣10♣
Jari Nikunlassi: A♠J♠Top pair was good for Nikunlassi, and he took down the decently-sized pot.
Jenny Westerlund: 171,000
Jari Nikunlassi: 122,000 -
Franke Might Multi-Table

Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk Level 11: 1,000/1,500 (1,500) Entries: 316/927 Prizes: €1,000,000 Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk plays a decent stack in Day 2 of the €1,100 Main Event. He’s not a big Texas NLH fan, but more a huge Mixed Games enthusiast. That being said, he has some impressive two-card results on his resume from the past.
Action folded to Gintautas Danilevicius, who opened to 3,000 from the Cut-off. Sergejs Serkovs (Button), Franke (Small Blind), and Erio Ermann all made the call. Franke then donk-bet 4,000 on the 6♥2♣10♥ flop; Danilevicius was the only one who decided to stick around. Franke continued on the aggressive path with a 6,500 bet on the A♥ turn, only to be faced with a 13,000 min-raise from his Lithuanian opponent. Franke looked at his hole cards and revealed his Q♠Q♣ holdings for the reporter before mucking swiftly.
“Aiyaah!” he let out as Danilevicius showed 5♣3♣. Time will tell if Franke is still alive in the Main Event at 17:00, when the €555 PL Sviten Championship kicks off. It’s his favorite game, and he wouldn’t want to miss it for the world.
Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk: 128,000
Gintautas Danilevicius: 94,000 -
We’re Live; Segins is Out

Level 11: 1,000/1,500 (1,500) Entries: 333/915 Prizes: €1,000,000 This live reporter set the new Guinness World Record for fastest sprint to Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. The first encounters captured went down at Table 3.
Romperto Koskinidis opened to 3,500 from the Button, and Aigars Petrovs made the call before Eero Ihaksi moved all in for 15,200 from the Big Blind. Koskinidis folded, but Petrovs decided he was priced in to make the call.
Eero Ihaksi: A♦5♠
Aigars Petrovs: 9♥6♦Ihaksi was looking somewhat good for a double up, but the 9♣K♥9♠ flop was far from ideal for him. The board completed with 4♥3♣, and his tournament life came to an end. That being said, late registration is still open for roughly three hours, so perhaps he will rebuy.
Aigars Petrovs: 80,000
Eero Ihaksi: 0 -

After another check from Niazi on the A♥ river, Semaska utilized his five blue 5,000 chips to go all in. This sent Niazi into the tank. “You show if I fold?” he asked his opponent. No answer, and Niazi soon enough mucked his hand. Semaska didn’t show; we’ll never know what he had.

More Titles to Sweden

Erik Friberg Compared to the 2025 Kings of Tallinn, this year’s edition of Northern Europe’s biggest live poker festival is going better for the Swedes. Zero titles last year would prove to be nothing more than a temporary speedbump for the Scandinavians; after yesterday, Sweden has now claimed six titles.
Prior to the festival’s sixth day, Sweden had already claimed four titles. When the dust settled yesterday, two more winners waving the blue/yellow flag emerged victorious. Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk got lucky on his sixth bullet in the €200 PL Sviten/PLO5, and claimed the win for €4,550. This poker.pro live journalist will do his very best to schedule an interview with the farmer later today.
What is arguably even more impressive is Erik Friberg’s win in the prestigious €5,000 High Roller. Forty-two entries yielded a €209,760 prize pool, and after conquering a field that included prominent names such as Juha Helppi, Ranno Sootla, and Roope Tarmi, the legendary Swedish player claimed the trophy and the €71,700.
It’s worth mentioning that Lennart Andersson came second in the €200 NLH Turbo, coming very close to earning Sweden a third trophy on Wednesday.

Frode Alfredsen Level 9: 600/1,200 (1,200) Entries: 74/204 Prizes: €1,000,000 GTD After an initial opening to 2,500 from Frode Alfredsen from the Lo-jack, Sergejs Piratovs moved all in for 21,000 from the Cut-off. When action came back to Alfredsen, he comfortably made the call.
Sergjes Piratovs: J♠J♥

Franke’s in the Green

Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk We interrupt the €1,100 Main Event Day 1a coverage with an important announcement! After firing six bullets, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk is now guaranteed a profit in the €200 PL Sviten/PLO5. His first three bullets converted into three hands; partially because he misread the game, but also because he is a fish. Just kidding; he’s currently at the final table, battling it out for the €4,550 first-place payout against three Finnish opponents. They’re all guaranteed €1,940, and time will tell whether Franke will be able to turn this into a Cinderella story.

Reigning Champion Plays a Big Stack

Kaspars Butans Level 8: 500/1,000 (1,000) Entries: 91/201 Prizes: €1,000,000 GTD Scrolling through PokerLens, this poker.pro live reporter noticed Kaspars Butans in the field. Butans won the €1,100 Main Event during the 2025 Kings of Tallinn for €182,000, beating No Filter Poker Series founder Mounir Tajiou heads-up. That was the biggest-ever Kings of Tallinn Main Event; only time will tell whether the record will be broken this year.
When this reporter strolled by Butans’ table, the board read 7♦7♠6♦10♠ with 16,500 in the middle. Steinn Thanh Du Karlsson (Small Blind) and Oleh Pritsak (Big Blind) both checked before Butans bet 6,500. Thanh Du Karlsson mucked instantly, but Pritsak made the call. The dealer revealed the Q♥ on the river; after another check from Pritsak, Butans sized up to 14,500. This sent Pritsak into the tank, and he spent two minutes there before making the call.
Butans turned over Q♦Q♣ for a rivered full house. Pritsak grimaced before mucking his hand.

The action on the A♠K♦10♣ flop went down so fast; this poker journalist’s pen almost caught fire. Mihelsons checked, Koutsoftas continued for 1,300, Dyhrberg Andersen raised to 4,500, Mihelsons folded, Koutsoftas moved all in for 20,400, and Dyhrberg Andersen called.

Seated in the Hi-jack, Kalle Suvi opened to 1,200. Chmielowski then three-bet to 4,600 from the Big Blind, and Suvi decided to make the call.
Chmielowski continued on the aggressive path with a 3,400 bet on the 8♠5♦5♣ flop, and Suvi made the call. Chmielowski slowed down and checked the 7♠ turn. Suvi put in a pile of blue 5,000 chips, forcing Chmielowski all in for 20,400. After 30 seconds’ worth of pondering, Chmielowski made the call.

The Prestigeous €5,000 High Roller in Full Flare

Another tournament that is currently going on in the main tournament room is the €5,000 High Roller.
There have been High Roller tournaments on the Kings of Tallinn schedules for many years, but last year was the first time it had the €5,000 buy-in. Then, Lithuanian Kestutis Jungevicius conquered a field that consisted of 58 entries to claim €90,380, which was the biggest share of the €264,480 prize pool.
As of this very moment, the €5,000 High Roller has 20 entries; late registration is open until 18:00. Juha Helppi, Mounir Tajiou, Yaniv Peretz, Markkos Ladev, and Paul Newey are just some of the prominent names in the field, competing for arguably one of the most prestigious titles of the 2026 Kings of Tallinn.

Onni Huttunen Level 36: 150,000/300,000 (300,000) Entries: 1/608 Prizes: €282,720 After Martin Zobel limped the 300,000 Big Blind from the Button, Onni Huttunen moved all in for 6,100,000. It didn’t take too long for Zobel to make the call.
Onni Huttunen: A♦3♦
Martin Zobel: 7♦7♣Huttunen was out on deep waters, and he was in dire need of an ace or any other miracle to stay alive. The 9♠J♣2♦ flop didn’t bring much hope, and as the board completed with 8♦J♥, Huttunen’s tournament life came to an end. For his runner-up finish, he was awarded €35,250.

Martin Zobel: A♣2♠
Max Jafaripour: 8♥8♦It’s an educated guess Jafaripour was thrilled and hopeful to double up, but the K♦A♦K♥ flop was not high on his wish list. The board completed with 10♣4♠; Jafaripour couldn’t beat Zobel’s pair of aces, and he had to settle for a third-place finish for €23,950.
The stage is now set for a heads-up duel between Zobel and Onni Huttunen.

Mindaugas Grigaitis: Q♥6♥
Onni Huttunen: K♠10♥Grigaitis was trailing, but he took the lead on the 9♣Q♠4♦ flop. His breathing room wouldn’t last long, though, as Huttunen improved to a superior pair on the K♥ turn. No dice for Huttunen on the 8♠ river, and he bid farewell in fourth place for €16,800.

Aaltonen Proudly Plays in Härkönen’s Seat

The final table of the €555 NLH Championship is not the only thing running in the main tournament area. The €200 NLH Celebrity Special is also in full swing, and the “regular” players are looking for good spots to knock out the celebrities, as they all have some kind of mystery bounty on their heads.
Tapio Aaltonen is one of the players in the tournament. Two weeks ago, Kings of Tallinn regular Marko Härkönen suddenly passed away. As a sign of respect, the Kings of Tallinn crew reserved Table 1-Seat 1 to Aaltonen, who was a very close friend of Härkönen. He has promised to donate half of his potential tournament winnings to Härkönen’s widow; both Härkönen and Kings of Tallinn are paying homage to Aaltonen in the most beautiful way possible.

Tomas Bulksas: A♦6♦
Mindaugas Grigaitis: K♦Q♣Bulksas was ahead on the 5♦5♠4♦ flop, and he maintained his lead on the 4♣ turn. Poker can be a brutal game, though; Grigaitis hit the K♠ on the river, and with that, he eliminated Bulksas in sixth place for €9,500.

Finland’s Onni Huttunen, second in chips, then three-bet to 725,000 from the Button. Small-stacked Andrejs Kovalovs was more or less forced all in from the Big Blind, so he committed his 275,000 stack. Grigaitis folded before Huttonen and Kovalovs went to showdown.
Onni Huttunen: A♦5♣
Andrejs Kovalovs: K♣J♦Both players hit a pair on the 4♣J♠A♠ flop, which made it even tougher for Kovalovs. The A♥ turn left Kovalovs drawing dead; the dealer dealt the 2♦ river for ceremonial reasons, and Kovalovs went to collect €7,200 for his seventh-place finish.
Onni Huttunen: 6,200,000

Mindaugas Grigaitis: K♣J♦Göransson was ahead, but it wasn’t by much. He maintained his lead on the 7♦8♥10♣, but Grigaitis picked up an additional straight draw. Breaking News: No Filter Poker Docummentary Released on poker.pro’s YouTube Channel
October 17-22 last year, the No Filter Nordic & Baltic Championship was played at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel.
No Filter Poker Series was founded by Mounir Tajiou. After the last casino shut down in Sweden, he wanted to create a reasonable opportunity for all Swedish poker players to play live poker. Said and done, he founded the No Filter Poker Series, and it’s far from your ordinary live poker event. Don’t take my word for it; a documentary of the event was made, and the 40-minute movie speaks for itself.
The said documentary was released on poker.pro’s YouTube channel just a moment ago, and it’s a great watch. Watch the documentary above.

€200 Pot Limit Razz Progressive Bounty in Full Swing

The remaining nine players in the €555 NLH Championship have yet to resume play on the final table; it’ll be another 30 minutes before all poker enthusiasts will be able to follow the final table action on the stream.
In the meantime, it feels fitting to mention something about another tournament that is currently going on: the €200 Pot Limit Razz Progressive Bounty.
Last year, the €200 Pot Limit Razz made its first appearance on a Kings of Tallinn schedule. Kings of Tallinn is a festival for the players, so tournament director Teresa Nousainen and her crew are eager to listen to players’ wishes and continually improve the festival. After hearing the players’ requests, the Kings of Tallinn team has now added the Progressive Bounty format to the tournament, something that is guaranteed to spice up the action even more.
The tournament kicked off roughly 2 hours ago, and late registration will close in about 10 minutes. Three things that are worth knowing about the tournament:
- Plays with Blinds.
- Initial deal: calling/raising Blinds.
- Fourth street and onwards: lowest hand showing to open.
Last but not least, here’s a breakdown of last year’s Razz tournament.

Sami Pulliainen: A♦10♠
Martin Zobel: A♣Q♠As if things weren’t already bad enough for Pulliainen, Zobel hit top pair on the Q♥4♦5♦ flop. Pulliainen wasn’t able to produce a miracle on the 6♠K♠ runout, and he bubbled the final table.
The remaining nine players are now on a short break. The poker.pro live reporting will now follow the delay of the stream. Watch the stream through the link below.
