Lundström Wins Big One Before Break

Rasmus Lundström Level 21: 6,000/12,000 (12,000) Entries: 43/608 Prizes: €282,720 The remaining 43 players in the €555 NLH Championship just returned after a break.
When most players left for the break, Rasmus Lundström and Ismael Dominguez were still involved in a hand at Table 13. This poker.pro journalist joined the action on the river, but was told after the hand concluded how it played out.
Seated UTG+1, Lundström opened to 25,000. Kauno Jäppinen made the call from the Hi-jack, and Dominguez decided to defend his Big Blind.
All three players checked the 4♠Q♠7♦ flop. After another check from Dominguez on the10♣ turn, Lundström bet 40,000. Jäppinen got out of the way before Dominguez made the call. Lundström continued on the aggressive path; he moved all in on the 5♥ river, effectively putting Dominguez at risk for 181,000. This sent Dominguez deep into the tank; after perhaps five minutes’ worth of pondering, Lundström called the clock on his opponent. With just a few seconds left on his countdown, Dominguez made the call.
Rasmus Lundström: 7♣7♥
Ismael Dominguez: A♠7♠Lundström had the best hand with a set of sevens. As he sent Dominguez to the rail, he improved his stack significantly right before the break.
Rasmus Lundström: 600,000

Lundström Finds the Call

Rasmus Lundström Level 20: 5,000/10,000 (10,000) Entries: 50/608 Prizes: €282,720 Action folded to Rasmus Lundström, who limped from the Small Blind. Tomas Bulksas allowed it, as he checked from the Big Blind.
Lundström bet 10,000 on the 4♠8♣8♦ flop, and Bulksas made the call. The Finn then check-called 14,000 from Bulksas on the 7♥ turn. Lundström checked again on the A♥ river, and Bulksas now sized up to 45,000. Lundström contemplated his decision for a minute or two before making the call.
Tomas Bulksas: J♦10♣
Rasmus Lundström: Q♣4♣A decent call from Lundström, who won a decent-sized pot.

Draw VS Draw

Level 19: 4,000/8,000 (8,000) Entries: 60/608 Prizes: €282,720 Action folded to Italian Mario Colavita, who min-raised to 16,000 from the Cut-off. Aurimas Stanevicius made the call from the Small Blind, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
After an initial check from Stanevicius on the 3♦5♦4♠ flop, Colavita continued for another 16,000. Stanevicius then forced his opponent all in for 75,000 in total, and Colavita made the call faster than you could say “Big Slick.”
Aurimas Stanevicius: Q♦J♦
Mario Colavita: A♦K♦Both players were chasing the same draw; no one got there on the 3♣9♣ runout, and Colavita had the best hand with ace high.

Rohan Oberoi: A♣9♦
Henri Wagner: A♥Q♠Oberoi was trailing, and he didn’t manage to extend his tournament life as the board spelled out 8♦3♦10♥8♣K♠.

Bubble has Burst; Players are in the Money

Level 18: 3,000/6,000 (6,000) Entries: 79/608 Prizes: €282,720 The tournament field got down to 80 entries, and hand-for-hand was about to commence, but there was still an ongoing situation over at Table 19.
Seated in the Lo-jack, Ralf Mikk min-raised to 12,000. Risto Pärnat decided to defend his Big Blind, and he was the sole caller.
Pärnat check-called a 10,000 continuation bet from Mikk on the Q♠4♠8♥ flop. The dealer revealed the 8♦ turn, and Pärnat now donk-bet 25,000. Mikk decided to make the call, and the 4♣ made its appearance on the river. Pärnat now decided to move all in; were Mikk to make the call, he would be the player at risk with his 78,000 stack. A small crowd of spectators gathered around the table, and after spending perhaps five minutes in the tank, Mikk eventually made the call.
Risto Pärnat: K♥8♣
Ralf Mikk: A♠7♠Mikk had attempted a hero call, but much to his displeasure, Pärnat had the best hand by far with a full house. As such, Mikk became the unfortunate bubble boy; the remaining players cheered, as they’re now all guaranteed a €1,050 min-cash.
The poker.pro live coverage will now deep dive into the tournament and catch crucial hands, interesting moments, notable eliminations, and much more. Now, though, there is a 60-minute dinner break on the schedule. Assorted chip counts will follow soon.

Team Norway Leads Team Challenge

Tobias Napel Team Norway is currently leading the 2026 Kings of Tallinn Team Challenge. Two percent of every tournament prize pool (does not include satellites) goes to the team challenge prize pool, and the team that finishes first can expect quite a nice bonus to their Tallinn trip.
That Team Norway is currently in the lead is no surprise, considering how the players performed yesterday. Espen Hagen won the €350 Dealers Choice Hi Only for €6,310, something that saw him earn a bunch of points. While he was heads-up in that tournament, his teammate Tobias Napel was heads-up at the next table in the €350 T.O.R.S.E. Despite “only” coming second, Napel looks to be the one player who has earned the most points so far during the 2026 Kings of Tallinn. He also came second in the €200 NLH Turbo, so there’s no wonder he’s been a steady horse so far.

The Noble History of the €555 NLH Championship

Juha Helppi The €555 NLH Championship has been a recurring feature on the Kings of Tallinn schedule ever since the 2023 edition. Although having tournaments with the specific buy-in earlier than that, 2023 was the year it got its current name. Since then, it’s been one of the most popular tournaments during the biggest live poker festival of Northern Europe; the numbers speak for themselves. Below is a breakdown of the earlier editions of the €555 NLH Championship.

Patrik Falk Eliminated in 2nd Place (€20,720)

Patrik Falk Level 36: 150,000/300,000 (300,000) Entries: 1/519 Prizes: €149,628 A while ago, Kristaps Sipols reclaimed the chip lead (this live reporter seems to have lost the hand; must be tired). After that, he moved all in from the Button, putting Patrik Falk at risk. Falk utilized his 4,325,000 stack to make the call from the Big Blind for his tournament life.
Kristaps Sipols: 7♦7♣
Patrik Falk: 2♦2♥Falk was in rough shape, and no help for his ducks as the board spelled out 5♣10♣10♠K♠5♦. He was eliminated in second place and secured €20,720 after the deal.

Prominent Mixed Games Players in T.O.R.S.E.

Aki Pyysing during the 2025 Kings of Tallinn The €350 T.O.R.S.E. kicked off roughly two hours ago, and it should be one of the most appreciated tournaments by the Mixed Games players. Combining Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw, Omaha Hi/Lo, Razz, Seven-Card Stud, and Seven-Card Stud Hi/Lo, a player would need a very diversified skillset to be a contender in this action-packed tournament.
There are many prominent names in the field, such as Finnish legend Aki Pyysing, streamer Scott “Pokerbrahs” Kenyon, Mixed Games virtuoso Riku Koivurinne, and The Festival founder Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk. It’ll be very exciting to see how the tournament unfolds.

Big Bounties Pulled

Another event that finished yesterday was the €1,100 PLO 4/5 Mystery Bounty. Finland’s Henri Antikainen won the tournament, defeating a field of 45 entries. Not only did he claim the first-place payout, but he also secured four mystery envelopes. He just opened them by the TV table in the main tournament room, with the host Glenn Brown following the action.
Antikainen pulled €4,000, €3,000, €2,500, and €6,000, adding up to a total of €15,500 in addition to what he got from winning the tournament; not bad for two days’ work. Weinitz Carlsson Bids Farewell

Level 24: 10,000/20,000 (20,000) Entries: 49/903 Prizes: €142,764 Carl Sonesson opened to 40,000 from the Lo-jack. Jukka-Pekka Nordman then made it 75,000, before Lars Weinitz Carlsson moved all in for 455,000 from the Big Blind. After some consideration, Sonesson folded. Nordman, though, made the call within a split second.
Lars Weinitz Carlsson: A♣Q♥
Jukka-Pekka Nordman: 6♦6♠The board spelled out K♥4♦8♥K♠4♣; having a superior two-pair, Nordman stacked Weinitz Carlsson.

Speech Play

Level 24: 10,000/20,000 (20,000) Entries: 49/903 Prizes: €142,764 Action folded all the way to Carl Sonesson, who made it 45,000 from the Small Blind. After 10 seconds’ worth of pondering, Klavs Garselis moved all in for roughly 500,000. “Du kör den, alltså,” Sonesson sighed, which is Swedish for “So you pull off that move, huh?” He double-checked his holdings and continued his speech, “Where are you from? If you say Finland, I call”. The table shared a laugh before Sonesson decided to muck his hand, revealing A♦J♦.

Juocys Gets Lucky

Level 24: 10,000/20,000 (20,000) Entries: 61/903 Prizes: €142,764 The very first hand after the dinner break, Simonas Juocys moved all in for 110,000 UTG. Big stacked Jukka-Pekka Nordman made the call from the Small Blind.
Simonas Juocys: 7♥5♥
Jukka-Pekka Nordman: A♦3♥Nordman was ahead by the slightest of margins, and the odds were still in his favor as both players improved to a pair on the 5♦2♠A♥ flop. He maintained his lead on the Q♠ turn, but the fortunate 7♠ river saw Juocys surviving. “Lucky,” he said as he raked in the chips. Nordman is still quite healthy.

Back and Forth

Level 23: 10,000/15,000 (15,000) Entries: 63/903 Prizes: €142,764 Seated in the Lo-jack, Luka Potocnik opened to 32,000. Jevgenijs Zotovs was the sole caller, as he decided to defend his Big Blind.
After an initial check from Zotovs, Potocnik fired a 20,000 continuation bet on the J♣9♠4♦ flop. Zotovs snap-called, and the dealer revealed the 2♥ turn. Action now went check, check, and on the 3♠ river, Zotovs took over the aggression with a 65,000 bet. “Not in my house,” Potocnik must’ve been thinking, as he raised to 150,000. A rather swift fold from Zotovs saw Potocnik secure the pot, roughly 10 minutes before the next scheduled break.
Jevgenijs Zotovs: 790,000
Luka Potocnik: 760,000 -
In the Club

Level 22: 6,000/12,000 (12,000) Entries: 71/903 Prizes: €142,764 Action folded to Klavs Garselis, who moved all in for 152,000 from the Cut-off. After peeking at his hole cards, Remy Nestor re-shoved for roughly 400,000 from the Small Blind. Oleksandr Sybirtsev surrendered his Big Blind, and the two contestants tabled their holdings.
Klavs Garselis: A♣J♥
Remy Nestor: Q♥Q♦Nestor was ahead, but Garselis picked up additional outs on the 5♣3♣7♣ flop. He improved to the nut flush on the 2♣ turn, and, just for good measure, he secured a six-card flush on the 8♣ river. He doubled up at the expense of Nestor, and his tournament life continues.

€200 Mini Main Event Bubble Burst in Dramatic Fashion; Buckle up

Level 21: 5,000/10,000 (10,000) Entries: 109/903 Prizes: €142,764 The bubble has burst in the €200 Mini Main Event, and the remaining 109 players are now all in the money. This means that the live reporting will now focus on the Mini Main Event until a winner is crowned; expect more frequent updates, including but not limited to crucial hands.
It all went down in dramatic fashion. Action folded to Alger Avi on the Button, who opened to 17,000 on Blinds 4,000/8,000. Linas Bulksas then three-bet to 60,000 from the Small Blind, before Toomas Mäkikokko moved all in for 196,000 from the Big Blind. Action back to Avi, who re-shoved for 379,000. As if things couldn’t get any crazier, Bulksas committed his 334,000 stack to make the call. Three-way to the flop then, with Avi having both his opponents covered.
Toomas Mäkikokko: A♥K♥
Alger Avi: A♦K♣
Linas Bulksas: J♥J♣What a sick hand. Bulksas must’ve been pleased to see that his two opponents were blocking each other. Bulksas maintained his lead on the 7♣10♣Q♥ flop, but he wasn’t too excited over the K♦ river. No help for Bulksas on the Q♣ river; this resulted in him becoming the unfortunate bubble boy, while Mäkikokko and Avi both improved their stacks.
Alger Avi: 668,000
Toomas Mäkikokko: 260,000
Linas Bulksas: 0Before hand-for-hand play commenced, there was still an ongoing situation at Table 17. Jerry Johannesson limped the 8,000 Big Blind from the Hi-jack. Kasperi Pitkäangas made the call from the Cut-off, and so did Sakari Setälä from the Small Blind. Seated in the Big Blind, Dainis Sibirjanovs was already forced all in, as he only played 6,000, three-quarters of a Big Blind.
All three players checked the J♦8♣8♦ flop, and the action repeated itself on the J♣ turn. Setälä bet 12,000 on the 2♦ river, and his competitors folded their hands. Eventually, it was time for Setälä and Sibirjanovs to table their holdings.
Dainis Sibirjanovs: J♥2♠
Sakari Setälä: J♠6♠Sibirjanovs had not looked at his hand; it’s an educated guess that he didn’t have high hopes when he saw Setälä’s hand. When he turned over his hole cards and saw that he too had a full house, players and spectators were flabbergasted, as they shared a laugh. Sibirjanovs’ reaction could not be mistaken for anything other than pure joy, as he survived the bubble in the most improbable fashion.
Sakari setälä: 172,000
Dainis Sibirjanovs: 12,000 -
The Noble History of Open-Face Chinese During Kings of Tallinn

Open-Face Chinese has been a part of the Kings of Tallinn ever since the inaugural edition back in 2015. The buy-in may have varied over the year, and it wasn’t always played as Pineapple, but the history is noble. Finland’s Henri Antikainen is so far the only two-time champion; Finland overall has the most titles.
Last year’s event – the €350 edition – has scored the biggest field so far with 106 entries. The ongoing tournament currently has 70 entries scored, with a good 40 minutes left of late registration. Below is a breakdown of all Open-Face Chinese events since the birth of the Kings of Tallinn.

“Torsk på Tallinn” Leading the Team Challenge

One of the coolest, most unique features of Kings of Tallinn is the Team Challenge. Until Friday, February 13, 12:00 local time, players can create teams of four. The better finishing position in the various tournaments, the more points will be collected for the team. Two percent of all Kings of Tallinn tournament prize pools go to the Team Challenge prize pool; there is a lot of dough up for grabs.
Much thanks to Thomas Grähs’ win in yesterday’s €200 PLO5/PLO5 Hi/Lo, “Torsk på Tallinn” is currently leading the Team Challenge. Of course, there’s a lot more to go; it’s not going to be a cakewalk maintaining the lead, but they’re off to a great start.
“Torsk på Tallinn” references a Swedish comedy-drama movie from 1999. It’s a fun watch.

A Man With a Plan

Just to make things clear, the plan for today’s live coverage is to laser-focus on the €200 Mini Main Event from the bubble and onwards. Crucial hands, assorted chip counts, notable names in the field… every nook and kranny will be covered. Up until the bubble, though, there’ll be some more general updates on everything going on at the Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel.

Notable Names in OFC

Fabian Bartuschk The €350 Open-Face Chinese is up and running, with roughly three hours left of late registration. There are many prominent names in the field, such as Fabian Bartuschk and Riku Koivurinne. In fact, the two of them were heads-up in the same tournament a few months ago during the 2025 WSOP Circuit Tallinn. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the two of them making deep runs; only time will tell how the tournament unfolds.
-
Astonishing Numbers

Late registration has closed for the €200 Mini Main Event; it’s safe to say the numbers are rather impressive. A total of 903 entries has yielded a €142,764 prize pool; while the payouts are yet to be confirmed, the eventual winner should expect a decent ROI on the €200 buy-in.

Mini Main Conclusion, Open-Face Chinese And Much More on the Plate

Good afternoon, fellow poker enthusiasts, and welcome to the third day of the 2026 Kings of Tallinn. It’s destined to be another day in poker paradise, and today’s schedule is filled to the brim with golden nuggets.
In terms of coverage, poker.pro will today focus a tad more on the €200 Mini Main Event. The tournament is approaching the end of late registration, and it should land somewhere around 850 entries. Not too bad for the first weekend, eh?
That being said, there will still be some general updates regarding everything else that’s going on at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel today. As can be seen below, it’s a smorgasbord; buckle up for the ride.

A General Update to Round Off Today’s Coverage

Play is still bust at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel during this second day of the 2026 Kings of Tallinn.
Day 1c of the €200 Mini Main Event is on Level 6; with 215 entries and counting, it’s turning out to be the tournament one dreamt of.
Thirteen players are remaining in the €200 PLO 5 Hi/Lo, battling for a €4,650 first-place payout. Latvia’s Deniss Lebedevs is the current chip leader with roughly 600,000, with Swede Thomas Grähs chasing his tail.
Eleven players will be paid in the €555 NLH. Currently, 22 players are still in, including Mounir Tajiou, Taago Tamm, and Roope Tarmi. The winner will receive an impressive €11,480.
The €200 Badeucy/Badacey is still going on, and the Mixed Games players are having the time of their lives. Word on the street is poker.pro CEO got busted by Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk. Who would’ve thought!
Last but far from least, the first starting-day flight of the €350 NLH Kings of Tallinn Cup is currently on Level 5. Good friend of poker.pro Rasmus Lundström is one of the players trying to secure a big stack for Day 2.
That, my friends, wraps up today’s live coverage here on poker.pro. The live update frequency has been a little slower on account of several starting-day flights and a few satellites. Tomorrow, though, the plan is different. The live coverage will kick off around 13:00, when everything will kick off with a description of the general atmosphere in the room. The poker.pro editorial office will then keep on providing updates from the various events, before shifting focus to the conclusion of the Mini Main Event, from the bubble and onwards.
What can’t be said enough, though, is that the 2026 Kings of Tallinn is living up to its expectations, just after the first two days. It’s a poker fiesta that can’t be compared to anything else, and there’s a lot more fun to follow.
Thanks to everyone who’s been following along with today’s action; we’ll see you again tomorrow.

Baducey, Badacey, Barocketsciencey

This poker.pro journalist just took a stroll by the Sydney room, where the €200 Baducey/Badacey is now in full flare. It’s not the easiest game for a newbie to pick up, but one thing’s for sure: the participants are having the time of their lives. Scott Kenyon, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, Jason Glatzer, Eva “Chic” Jivetorn, Riku Kouvirunne… the list of Mixed Games enthusiasts in the field can be made long, and it’s going to be an entertaining journey to the title.
