Niall “Firaldo” Farrell. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 14: 2,500/5,000 (5,000) Entries: 55/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD This poker.pro reporter arrived at Niall “Firaldo” Farrell’s table when the board read 8♠6♦J♣7♠7♣ with 62,000 in the middle. The player in the Big Blind had checked it over to Firaldo, who put out a pot-sized 55,000 bet. After some consideration, the opponent made the call. Firaldo turned over A♣J♦, and his opponent acknowledged the winning hand. Firaldo is really cooking now and plays a very respectable stack. The more chips he accumulates, the stronger and more dangerous he becomes.

Staples Bids Farewell

Jaime Staples during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Winter Edition. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 14: 2,500/5,000 (5,000) Entries: 58/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD Action folded to the fairly short-stacked PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples, who moved all in for 59,000 on the Button. The Small Blind folded, but the player seated in the Big Blind decided to try to knock Staples out.
Jaime Staples: J♦8♦
Opponent: A♠7♥Staples had two live cards, but the 2♠A♣7♠ flop drastically lowered his chances to win the pot. He was drawing very slim on the 10♦ turn, and the 6♠ sealed his fate. The only player left in the field wearing the PartyPoker patch is now Niall “Firaldo” Farrell.

Another Break

Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 14: 2,500/5,000 (5,000) Entries: 59/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD The remaining players in Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event are now on a shorter break.
Just a few hands before the break, there was an all-in showdown, J♥J♦ versus J♣J♠. The board spelled out 2♠9♣A♣10♣Q♣, earning the shorter stack a full double-up, crippling the opponent in the process.
As previously stated, the poker.pro editorial office will have better access to player tracking tomorrow, so the story can be told more properly, which player had how many chips, etc.

Big One for Firaldo

Niall “Firaldo” Farrell. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 13: 2,000/4,000 (4,000) Entries: 67/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD Niall “Firaldo” Farrell opened to 10,000 from the Hi-jack, and the player in the Big Blind decided to defend. The opponent check-called a 4,000 continuation bet from Farrell on the J♥J♣2♥ flop. Action repeated itself on the 6♣ turn, the only difference being that Firaldo now sized up to 15,000. The opponent completed the check trifecta on the 7♣ river, and Firaldo forced his contestant all in for 33,000. The opponent snap-called.
Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: J♦9♠
Opponent: 7♥6♥Firaldo admitted to thinking he was beat once the opponent snap-called, but he was delighted to see he had the winning hand.

Rebecca Hardisty. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 12: 1,500/3,000 (3,000) Entries: 88/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD While Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event is still ongoing, the €30 Target Stack Satellite should be over soon. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty just reached 90,000, meaning she cashed out a €150 ticket. She’ll put it to good use tomorrow and try to get her redemption in the Mini Main Event.

Niall “Firaldo” Farrell. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 12: 1,500/3,000 (3,000) Entries: 88/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD The board read 4♣10♣4♠9♥ with 95,000 in the middle. After a check from his opponent, Niall “Firaldo” Farrell moved all in for 78,000. His opponent spent perhaps three minutes in the tank before letting his hand go.

Lost Chips, Gained Knowledge

Niall “Firaldo” Farrell. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 11: 1,000/2,500 (2,500) Entries: 98/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD Action folded to Niall “Firaldo” Farrell, who opened to 5,000 from the Cut-off. The Big Blind made the call, and then checked the K♣2♠Q♥. “Quattro,” Firaldo said with his Scottish accent as he continued for 4,000, and his opponent decided to make the call. “I don’t know more than that,” Firaldo admitted that his Spanish vocabulary is somewhat limited. “Paso,” he was taught to say on the 6♦, following his opponent’s move. Action also went check-check on the 4♥ river.
The opponent turned over Q♦8♥; while Firaldo may have lost the small pot, he increased his Spanish vocabulary by at least 100 %.

Playing Down to 34

Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 11: 1,000/2,500 (2,500) Entries: 104/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD The number of entries has been confirmed, and considering each starting-day flight of the €150 Mini Main Event is playing down to 15 % of the field, it has been announced by the floor that 34 players will bag their chips for Day 2. That is roughly one-third of the current field.

Hardisty has jumped into the ongoing €30 Target Stack Satellite, which has three Mini Main Event tickets guaranteed.
Niall “Firaldo” Farrell and PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples are still in the first starting-day flight of the Mini Main Event. Firaldo, in particular, is playing a healthy stack, and Staples also has some chips to work with.

Glenn Brown. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 10: 1,000/2,000 (2,000) Entries: 126/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD While Rebecca Hardisty, Bárbara Jiminez, and Niall “Firaldo” Farrell were the three PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors tangling in Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event (as well as PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples), more players wearing the PartyPoker patch can be expected to see later in the week. For example, this live reporter knows for a fact that Glenn Brown and Barry Carter will arrive at Casino Admiral tomorrow. Other ambassadors include Joe Beevers, Nathalie Bromley, Sam Acheampong, and Daniel Garcia. They should all be in Seville soon enough.

After that, play will resume on Level 10, which will mark the end of late registration. The already massive number of participants will surely grow somewhat bigger.
Again, play today will wrap up when only 15 % of the field remains. That number will be determined once late registration is closed.

Biggest €150 Mini Main Event Starting-Day Flight

Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 9: 800/1,600 (1,600) Entries: 120/210 Prizes: €50,000 GTD Seville has proven to be crazy. It’s the first day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville, and it’s the first starting-day flight of the €150 Mini Main Event, and a record has already been broken. This is the biggest-ever starting-day flight of the Mini Main Event, which has been played during all six previous PartyPoker Tour stops. With 210 entries and counting, it has surpassed the 172 entries scored in one of the flights during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Spring Edition.
If the other three starting-day flights present similar numbers, this will be the biggest-ever Mini Main Event by some margin.

Going on resumes, “Firaldo” should be one of the strongest players in the field. The Scott is a poker legend, with $7,462,496 in total live earnings (according to The Hendon Mob). He is one of the most recent to join the PartyPoker Tour Ambassador crew, answering not only for sublime poker skills, but also good vibes on and off the tables.

Staples Doubles Up

Jaime Staples during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Sheffield. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 7: 500/1,000 (1,000) Entries: 129/195 Prizes: €50,000 GTD A few more players proudly wearing the PartyPoker patch have joined the mix. PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples was off to a great start. He opened UTG on Blinds 400/800 and got three callers. Action was checked to Staples on the Q♣9♣3♠ flop, and he continued for 7,000. One of his opponents then raised to 15,000, and another player cold-called. Back to Staples, who decided to pull the trigger; he moved all in for 40,000. The re-raiser committed his 20,000 stack to the call before the third contestant mucked his hand.
Jaime Staples: K♥Q♥
Opponent: A♣J♣Staples improved to trips on the Q♠ turn, and the 4♥ didn’t see his opponent hitting the nut flush. As such, Staples now plays a very good stack.
According to his Instagram, Jaime’s brother Matt Staples (also a PartyPoker Team Pro) is spending the day sightseeing in Córdoba to get over the jet lag. It’s an educated guess we’ll see him in one of the other three starting-day flights of the €150 Mini Main Event.

Jiminez and Bourgeois at the Same Table

Bárbara Jiminez. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 6: 400/800 (800) Entries: 130/190 Prizes: €50,000 GTD One of the 130 players currently in the mix is the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville Ambassador Bárbara Jiminez. This poker.pro reporter strolled by her table when she opened to 2,000 UTG. The Small Blind and the Big Blind both came along for the ride, and action was then checked to Jiminez on the K♠7♣J♥ flop. A continuation bet made the trick, and Jiminez took down the pot. If this journalist’s eyesight is to be trusted, Jiminez now plays around 43,000.
Seated on the same table is Blaise Bourgeois, quite the skillful player with a WSOP Ring to his name. This isn’t Bourgeois’s first time on the PartyPoker Tour; in October last year, he almost took home the £100 poker.pro R.O.S.E.T. during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Birmingham, finishing second after Lewis Henderson.

Trip Down Memory Lane: The 2025 PartyPoker Tour London (Spring Edition)

Getnet Kassa, winner of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Main Event. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.
The first event was the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London, played at Genting Casino Stratford (back then, it was known as Aspers Casino). The festival featured 12 unique events, where the £150 Mini Main Event and the £500 Main Event were arguably the two most prestigious events.
The £150 Mini Main Event scored an impressive 866 entries, translating to a £109,200 prize pool. Local player Dost Ghrabie claimed the win, beating poker legend Will Kassouf heads-up and taking home £17,170.
The £500 Main Event got 491 entries, creating a £216,703 prize pool. The very experienced Getnet Kassa secured the win, earning himself £38,408.
The 2025 PartyPoker Tour London wasn’t the ordinary live poker festival. It was a statement from PartyPoker: the event hit it out of the park and set a standard for the remainder of the 2025 tour. Even though the inaugural event was a slam-dunk, PartyPoker continually improved leading up to each subsequent stop. Looking back at a great first year for the PartyPoker Tour, it’s safe to say the entity now has some meat on its bones, and the 2026 PartyPoker Seville will be riding the wave.

Gran Casino Seville. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 5: 300/600 (600) Entries: 130/165 Prizes: €50,000 GTD The first 20-minute break of the day has just concluded. There are currently 135 players remaining out of the 135 entries registered so far; this is shaping up to be a big starting-day flight.
The poker.pro editorial office will have access to a more convenient player tracking system from tomorrow onwards; while today’s coverage might be a little on the lighter side, a thorough recap will be uploaded after Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event concludes, including the chip counts of those making it through to Day 2.

Don’t Miss Friday’s €60 poker.pro-branded Tournament

The CEO of poker.pro, Jason Glatzer, came up with the idea of hosting poker.pro-branded Mixed Games during the PartyPoker Tour, and PartyPoker liked the thought of it. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 1: 100/200 Entries: 95/95 Prizes: €50,000 GTD While this live blog will mostly focus on the ongoing Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event, let’s take a peak in the future for just one moment. This Friday, March 20, the €60 poker.pro Friday Party Madness Crazy Pineapple Bounty will kick off at 22:00. Being the official English media partner of the PartyPoker Tour, poker.pro is grateful to have a Mixed Games tournament on the Seville schedule, and considering the action that a Crazy Pineapple tournament usually brings, it’s an educated guess that the atmosphere will be electric at Casino Admiral on Friday.

Welcome to the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville Live Blog on poker.pro

The sun is shining, the tapas are cooking, and the decks are being shuffled. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville.
History is about to be written as the PartyPoker Tour makes its first-ever stop on Spanish soil. The legendary poker brand did pay Casino Barcelona a visit in 2022 during the 2022 partypoker MILLIONS Europe; however, that was a completely different tour. The PartyPoker Tour held its inaugural event in April last year (London, United Kingdom), and after five more stops in the UK, the tour has now officially expanded to Spain.
If you’re reading this, you’ve successfully navigated to the poker.pro live blog. This poker journalist’s name is Christoffer Karlén. This Swede was blessed with the opportunity to cover the tour in 2025, and now, I’ve made it to Seville, eager to watch the action unfold at Casino Admiral.

poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Being the official English media partner of the PartyPoker Tour, poker.pro will be on-site every day during the festival, again, in the form of me. I’ll be covering every knook and cranny of action during the entire festival. Crucial hands, funny moments, results, photos…the poker.pro live blog is the place to be for those who want to stay up to date with everything regarding the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville.
Today’s live coverage will kick off at 17:00, when Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event kicks off. If the 2025 tour in the UK taught us anything, it’s that the aforementioned Mini Main Event is one of the most popular tournaments. With a total of four starting-day flights, there’ll be many contestants in the field, competing for a large chunk of the prize pool (which is €50,000 guaranteed). Late registration will be open during the first nine 30-minute levels, and 15 % of the field will make it to Day 2.
At 22:00, there is a €30 Target Stack Satellite which has three Mini Main Event tickets guaranteed. Players will start with 15,000 in chips and compete in 10-minute levels until they accumulate 90,000 or more; then, they’ll be granted a €150 ticket.
2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville – Monday, March 16 Schedule
Time Event 17:00 Event #1: €150 Mini Main Event Day 1a 22:00 €30 Target Stack Satellite to €150 Mini Main Event (Three Tickets Guaranteed) While these are the sole two tournaments on the schedule today, it wouldn’t be fair to call this a slow start. Many players have already made their way to Seville, including PartyPoker Ambassadors Rebecca Hardisty and Niall “Firaldo” Farrell. What’s more, PartyPoker Team Pros Jaime Staples and Matt Staples are also on-site; it wouldn’t be surprising to see all four of the above-mentioned names tangle in today’s Mini Main Event flight. The same goes for Daniel Garcia, the Spanish ambassador for the PartyPoker Tour.

This journalist is beyond excited for the action to kick off, but first: a light jog in the exotic weather, followed by a dip in the pool and perhaps a healthy snack. See you at 17:00, folks: this is the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville.

Out of the four, Firaldo was the only one who made it through to Day 2. Perhaps, the other three will take a shot at redemption today.
Two other PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors who are arriving in Seville today are Glenn Brown and Sam Acheampong. To be fair, they’re both already in the city, but have yet to make their way to Admiral Casino. Rumors has it Acheampong will tangle in the €100 PLO Masters Big O, while Brown is determined to give the Mini Main Event a shot.

It’s become evident that the live poker scene is hot in Seville, and it’s an educated guess that Admiral Casino will only get busier and busier. For example, more PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors, such as Glenn Brown and Barry Carter, are confirmed to join the action tomorrow.

That’s a Wrap; Play has Concluded

Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 16: 4,000/8,000 (8,000) Entries: 34/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD With 35 players remaining, the floor asked the dealers to hold off before dealing the next hand, so that they could announce hand-for-hand. However, there was still action going on at one of the tables. The flop read 3♣A♥5♣, and the remaining chips between the two players went in the middle.
Player A: 3♥3♦
Player B: A♦10♠Player A was the player at risk, but he was looking good to receive a full double-up. He maintained his lead on the 2♠ turn. When the A♠ came on the river, Player B celebrated, thinking he had the winning hand with a better three-of-a-kind. Eventually, he realised his opponent had improved to a full house, and that he, in fact, became the unfortunate bubble boy.
That’s a wrap for today’s live coverage here on poker.pro, and the first day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville is now done and dusted. The chip counts for Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event will be uploaded as fast as possible. Tomorrow morning, a longer recap of today’s action will be posted on poker.pro.
Thanks to everyone who’s been following along with the live coverage today. The blog will go live tomorrow at 16:00 for Day 1b; then, the poker.pro will have better access to player tracking, which means the live coverage will be elevated to another level.

Filthy From Firaldo

Niall “Firaldo” Farrell. Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 16: 4,000/8,000 (8,000) Entries: 35/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD Niall “Firaldo” Farrell min-raised to 16,000 UTG, and the Cut-off eventually moved all in for 54,000. “How much is that? Please tell me it’s a lot,” Farrell asked the dealer, hoping he wouldn’t be mathematically forced to make the call. After receiving the number, he wished his opponent good luck before putting the chips in.
Opponent: Q♠Q♣
Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: 4♦4♥Firaldo was in rough shape, but he took a solid lead on the 4♠10♣3♥ flop. His opponent wasn’t able to catch up on the 7♦9♥ runout. Firaldo added chips to his already impressive stack.

Pocket Peg Potential Chip Leader After Sick Runout

Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 15: 3,000/6,000 (6,000) Entries: 40/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD Between hands, this poker.pro live reporter had a small chat with Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford and Blaise Bourgeois. Crawford is playing 560,000, which could be the biggest stack in the room at this stage. She showed us the video of her securing a massive pot, and it was quite the rollercoaster of a hand.
From the video, it looks like Crawford opened to 12,000 UTG. Player A then moved all in for 35,000 from the Button. Player B re-shoved for 200,000 from the Small Blind. Having both players covered, Crawford made the call.
Player A: A♠J♣
Player B: A♣Q♠
Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford: K♠K♥Crawford was ahead, but she was not a big fan of the 8♥A♥10♠ flop. The Poker Gods were looking out for the WSOP Circuit Ring winner, though; the board completed with 2♥5♥, and Crawford secured the massive pot after hitting the runner-runner nut flush.
Only six more players will go out before the survivors will bag for Day 2. It’ll be interesting to see if Crawford can keep the momentum going and bag a top-three stack.
Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford: 560,000

Trip Aces for Pocket Peg

Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 14: 2,500/5,000 (5,000) Entries: 51/228 Prizes: €50,000 GTD Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford is one of the 51 players remaining in Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event. This poker.pro journalist took a stroll by her table, and estimated roughly 36,000 brewing in the middle on a Q♦5♥J♦A♥A♣ board. The Big Blind checked before Pocket Peg bet 22,000. The Cut-off made the call before the Big Blind mucked his hand.
Pocket Peg revealed her A♠9♦ holdings and was awarded the pot with trip aces.

The Scottish Express

More Ambassadors Making Their Way to Seville

Glenn Brown.

Dinner Break

Photo: Nunzia Esposito Level 10: 1,000/2,000 (2,000) Entries: 125/219 Prizes: €50,000 GTD It’s time for a 60-minute dinner break in Day 1a of the €150 Mini Main Event.
