Two more trophies have been awarded at the 3rd running of the 2026 Pure Poker Tour. Thursday night saw an epic finish in the $340 Bounty game after Russ Rimer went on a tear at the final table, getting a series of huge spots to bust four players in a row and take a stranglehold on chip lead.
Meanwhile, Thursday also featured Day 1 of the PLO Main Event, with Day 2 finishing out early on Friday. Sebastian Crema bagged the third biggest stack after Day 1, but was the man with all the chips when Day 2 finished around 3 PM on Friday.
While the top spots in the Player of the Series race haven’t changed, there was significant movement in the middle of the top ten list. Pete Fylyma jumped to 4th place thanks to second in the Deepstack Hyper and 3rd in the Bounty. Bash Ramahi is now in 5th on the back of three cashes, including 6th in the Bounty game Thursday night, while the winner of that game, Russ Rimer, has jumped into 6th place.

Crema Crushes the PLO Main Day 2

Event #12: $1,100 PLO Main Event ($990 + $110)
Sebastian Crema bagged the third biggest stack at the end of Day 1 of the PLO Main Event late Thursday evening, but by the time Day 2 was over, he was on all the chips in play. He had a great run on Day 2. After quick exits from Ross Wilson and Colten Yamagishi, Crema then found a great spot to take out the start-of-day chip leader, Aaron Chuley, when Chuley’s double suited aces couldn’t improve against a flopped two pair for Crema.
That gave Crema more than 60% of the chips in play, and after Jimmy Lee sent Joyce Funk home with the best top pair, Crema had about 2.5 million to around 400k for the other two players. Crema then flushed Samho Ngai to the rail in 3rd place, then quickly found a set against Lee’s two pair to take the game down.
This was Crema’s 9th live win, but his first PPT trophy. He has more than $1.15 million in live earnings before this game, but the $21k score from this game won’t even crack his top ten best scores.

Russ Rimer Runs Over Bounty FT

Event #13: $340 NLH Bounty ($300 + $100 + $50)
The $340 NLH Bounty game was the biggest field of the series so far. The 156 entries capped both Event #3 starting flights, as well as the 145-entry Seniors field for prizes of $44,460 ($28,860 prizes, $15,600 bounties).
Calgary’s Peter Darlington was the boss as they hit the 16 paid spots and played down to the final table, but his luck turned once there was just a single table in play. The FT action started with Pete Fylyma waking up with aces in the big blind after Jarret Gray, who was runner-up in the $560 NLH on Wednesday, shoved the small blind with a suited ace-ten.
After that, it was ALL Russ Rimer. Rimer went on a tear, knocking out the next five players in rapid succession to get the game three-handed. Rimer seemingly couldn’t miss, with one brutal example coming when he sent former big stack Peter Darlington home in 5th place after Darlington called off a river shove with jack-high diamonds, but ran into the straight flush for Rimer.
That left Rimer with about 3.1 million of the 3.9 million in play, while Fylyma and runner-up Razvan Radu were splitting the other 800k between them. Radu was a bit ahead of Fylyma, and after the three played for about a level three ways with very little change in the stacks, they decided to make a deal and end the game at about 5 AM, 11 hours after it began.
Rimer took 1st-place money with the massive stack, but he agreed to toss a bounty chip to both Fylyma and Radu to sweeten second and third a bit, and the final three finished the game according to the stacks at the time of the deal, with Radu as runner-up, and Fylyma in 3rd.
It’s worth noting that 3 players on this final table were sitting at back-to-back FTs. Gray, who finished 9th in this one, was runner-up the day before in the $560 NLH, while Fylyma & Rimer were both in the final three of the Deepstack Hyper (Fylyma was 2nd, Rimer was 3rd).
This was Rimer’s first live win in just his 4th recorded cash on Hendon Mob. The $7.4k score will easily be his best live score. Rimer collected 11 bounties on his way to the win, but then gave two away in the deal at the end. Radu ended with 3 bounties, while Fylyma had six. The bounty king for the game, and perhaps one of the biggest bounty totals ever on the PPT, was Darlington, who had 14 bounties in his pocket when he ran into Rimer’s straight flush.
