Jack McMullan (Photo: Nunzia Esposito) Day 4 of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow contained plenty of drama, as Jack McMullan dominated a quickfire £150 Mini Main Event final table, and Laurynas Jakutis and Stephen Milloy enjoyed side event victories.
Day 1a of the £500 Main Event gathered a healthy 103 entries, with David Gallagher (461,000) topping a list of 26 qualifiers, which included Abdul Mukit (266,000) and Mark Johnston (252,000), both of whom final tabled the Mini Main Event, and Robbie Bull (158,000).
Jack McMullan Dominates £150 Mini Main Event Final Table (*£13,200 After Deal)
Ayrshire native Jack McMullan produced a dominant final table performance to emerge as the last player standing in the record-breaking 2026 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow Mini Main Event, securing the trophy and a £13,200 payday after a quick-fire five-hour shootout.
McMullan caught heat early, and only relinquished the lead for brief periods to Laurence Welch at the point of a three-way deal, and Oliver Hutchins shortly after. The agreement between McMullan (£10,200), Welch (£10,550), and Hutchins (£10,000) left only the destination of the trophy, and the final £3,000 of the prize pool, to be determined.
McMullan would emerge as the victor, securing a career-best tournament score for the Scot, normally found at the cash tables.
The £87,625 prize pool created by 701-runner field was a record for the event, and McMullan was delighted to be the last player standing, saying “Feels brilliant, it was a great day. I’ve not really played too many live tournaments, so thrilled, an amazing day. Jack McMullan (Photo: Nunzia Esposito) Level 34: 250,000/500,000 (500,000) Entries: 1/701 Prizes: £87,625 Ayrshire native Jack McMullan produced a dominant final table performance to emerge as the last player standing in the record-breaking 2026 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow Mini Main Event, securing the trophy and a £13,200 payday after a quick-fire five-hour shootout.
McMullan caught heat early, and only relinquished the lead for brief periods to Laurence Welch at the point of a three-way deal, and Oliver Hutchins shortly after. The agreement between McMullan (£10,200), Welch (£10,550), a £30 satellite qualifier, and Hutchins (£10,000) left only the destination of the trophy, and the final £3,000 of the prize pool, to be determined.
McMullan would emerge as the victor, securing a career-best tournament score for the Scot, normally found at the cash tables.

A record-breaking field of 701 entries created a £87,625 prize pool, far in excess of the £59,000 gathered last year, and Hutchins started the day with the chip lead ahead of McMullan.

In the next hand, Sinclair three-bet jammed light from the big blind, and cracked Craig McCombe’s kings. McCombe was left with crumbs, and was the first casualty of the day shortly after, busting to Sinclair.
McMullan caught Sinclair bluffing, before the winner doubled short-stack Mark Johnston.
Welch got in on the action when he doubled with queens against Abdul Mukit, before Johnston ran into McMullan’s kings to bust in the final hand before the first break.
On the return, action ensued as Mukit and Sinclair busted in the first two hands, to Hutchins and McMullan respectively, and suddenly the field was reduced to five.
Max Sinclair (Photo: Nunzia Esposito) PartyPoker Tour ambassador, The Hendon Mob founder, and poker legend Joe Beevers had presumably been card dead, and although he got it in good versus McMullan, the champion’s momentum could not be stopped, ending ‘The Elegance’s run in fifth.
Callum Wallace was next to go in a button versus big blind spot, again against McMullan, who now held a significant lead.
Welch was the short-stack but picked the perfect time to catch fire, doubling through, and finding a tough river hero call, against McMullan.
That gave Welch the lead when the deal was discussed, and the highest sum banked. However, he departed in third after McMullan came from behind in a battle of the blinds.

Oliver Hutchins (Photo: Nunzia Esposito) It was another thrilling day of poker action on August 5 at the Alea Casino, Glasgow, as Day 3 of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow saw the final table of the £150 Mini Main Event set, and James McAulay and Sharaz Moad become the latest PartyPoker Tour champions.
£150 Mini Main Event Day 2
A record-breaking field of 701 entries created a huge £87,625 prize pool, and 105 players returned for the penultimate day with David Doherty in the lead, and a £300 payday secured.
The knockouts came at a rapid pace, as players such as Jason McDonald and Marc Brown suffered early exits, while reigning Glasgow Main Event champion Zhen Zhen also came unstuck.
Andrew Hawksby vaulted into a massive lead when he was on the right side of a huge aces versus kings cooler against fellow big stack Brian Etheridge.
Andrew Hawksby (Photo: Nunzia Esposito) The field continued to be thinned in rapid fashion, and by the second break three tables were left, with Hawksby joined by Mark Johnston at the top of the standings, with Hutchins not far behind.
Hutchins was left with dust after he doubled David Mackie, but rallied to mount an epic comeback. First, he pipped Vladyslaw Mudryk to dispose of the Ukrainian, before he picked up kings to double against Edoardo Mancinelli’s jacks.
Then, in a three-way all-in scenario, Hutchins made quad sevens to overcome Steven Queen’s ace-king and Callum Reid’s pocket queens.
Max Sinclair secured a crucial triple-up in a hand where Craig McCairns busted Niall Farrell in the side pot in eleventh, and the final table was set when Hawksby exited to Hutchins with a dominated ace.
The players will return at 4 p.m. on August 6 for the final table, all with their eyes firmly set on the £16,250 first-place prize, with the seat draw as follows:-
