  • Ramaz Hayour Defeats Jordan Panas in Bounty for 2nd Series Trophy

    Level:23 (15000/30000/30000)
    Entries:1/85
    Prizes:$24,225 ($15,725 prizes, $8,500 bounties)
    Local Time:2:50 AM

It was a quick end to the Bounty side game on Saturday night. Jordan Panas shoved pocket deuces with the short stack, and Ramaz Haymour called it off with pocket fives. The fives held on a board of 9J69Q and Haymour had his second trophy of the series.

Haymour bagged his first trophy with four cards a couple of nights ago, and tonight he did it with two, but in both cases, it was in a Bounty game. This win also heats up the Player of the Series race as Haymour has a stack in Day 2 of the Main on Sunday, and he’ll no doubt jump up the rankings when tonight’s win is recorded.

He’s in Day 2 alongside leader Ross Wilson, so the results of the Main Event will almost certainly determine the PoS winner. That said, the Last Chance also plays out Sunday, so other top ten players could jump ahead with a win, depending on how the Main players do. Wilson and Haymour are likely the PoS favorites, but there are still a lot of variables going into the final day of action.

  • Alex Woods Out in 3rd Place for $2,201

    Level:23 (15000/30000/30000)
    Entries:2/85
    Prizes:$24,225 ($15,725 prizes, $8,500 bounties)
    Local Time:2:35 AM
    Alex Woods

Ramaz Haymour limped in from the small blind, and Alex Woods checked in the big. Haymour bet 35k on 5c8dAh[/pcn] flop, and 100k on the 3 turn.

Woods called both to the 2 river, then hit the tank for about 30 seconds when Haymour shoved his big stack. He eventually called, but his jack-five was behind the five-three for Haymour.

    Local Time:11:00 PM

The Bounty side game is now down to 21 players remaining, with about 15 minutes to play in Level 14. The average stack is about 25 big blinds right now, so things should go relatively quickly through the night. They have a break scheduled following Level 15.

Among the players still battling for a share are Ryan Cairns, Gerald Chung, Michael St. Pierre-Porter, Benny Sarnelli, Tyler Foran, George Mounsef, Denis Mujcin, Jason Law, Ramaz Haymour, and Nadav Bitton.

    Level:10 (1000/1500/1500)
    Entries:35/85
    Prizes:$24,225 ($15,725 prizes, $8,500 bounties)
    Local Time:9:50 PM

Entries are now closed in the Bounty game, with the final number on the board at 85. If that holds when the prizes are posted, it will mean nearly $35k in combined prizes, with 9 players sharing in $15,725 in payouts later tonight.

  • 69 Entries; 30 Minutes to Enter

    Level:9 (600/1200/1200)
    Entries:37/69
    Prizes:$19,665 ($12,765 prizes, $6,900 bounties)
    Local Time:9:00 PM

The Bounty prizes are just shy of $20k combined now, with 69 entries on the board. About 30 minutes are left to enter this game, so a final field of 70-80 looks likely.

  • Up to 52 Entries

    Level:6 (300/600/600)
    Entries:40/52
    Prizes:$14,820 ($9,620 prizes, $5,200 bounties)
    Local Time:8:10 PM

The side game prizes are at nearly $15k combined, with 52 entries on the board. Just over an hour remains in entry, so it looks like this one will top out somewhere between 70 & 80 entries tonight.

  • Two Hours to Enter

    Level:5 (300/500/500)
    Entries:41/47
    Prizes:$13,395 ($8,695 prizes, $4,700 bounties)
    Local Time:7:30 PM

Two hours remain in entries for the Bounty side game tonight. The field is at 47 entries with just under 15 minutes to play in Level 5. They’ll take their first break of the night following this level, then return for four more levels of open entry before the desk shuts down at 9:30 PM.

  • More than $10k in Combined Prizes

    Level:3 (200/300/300)
    Entries:33/37
    Prizes:$10,545 ($6,845 prizes, $3,700 bounties)
    Local Time:6:55 PM

The side game is at 37 entries for combined prizes of $10.5k. $3,700 of that is in bounties, with the rest waiting for payouts later in the night. Entries are open on this one for 2.5 hours – Note that my opening post for this game cites the wrong end time for entries. That post stated 10:40, when the final chance to enter will actually come about 9:30 PM.

  • 25 Entries; 3 Hours to Enter

    Level:2 (100/200/200)
    Entries:25/25
    Prizes:$7,125 ($4,625 prizes, $2,500 bounties)
    Local Time:6:25 PM

Level 2 has just begun, with 25 entries on the board. Note that the structure says blinds are 25 minutes, but the actual length is 20 minutes for this one. That means entries will close about an hour earlier than originally reported; players wanting to late-reg this game need to be at the cage by 9:30 PM at the latest.

  • NLH Bounty on the Saturday Night Side

    Date:May 16, 6 PM
    Blinds:25 Minutes
    Starting Stack:25k
    Late Entry:9 Levels (~10:40 PM)
    Day 1 Ends:One-Day Event

The penultimate event of the 2026 Pure Poker Tour #2 is set to go on Saturday night. The action for the $340 Bounty kicks off at 6 pm, and players start with 25k in chips.

There are 9 levels of open entry, which should mean the final chance to enter will be about 10:40 PM. After that, they’ll play to a winner.

In the Feb/Mar series this year, the penultimate game was the $340 4th Chance game, so there isn’t a direct comparison to post about. I’m expecting a fairly light field, though many of the 1b players who bust after entries close will likely jump into this one.
