The 2026 WSOP Circuit Bratislava continued to deliver at Card Casino Šamorín, just outside Bratislava, Slovakia, as the festival, running through August 11 with 12 WSOP Circuit Ring Events and more than €2.8 million guaranteed, handed out its second gold ring on Monday. All eyes were on the final day of the €350 Mini Main Event, where Hungary’s Peter Tordai came out on top of a 1,709-entry field to collect €85,000, the ring, and a $5,000 WSOP Paradise Bahamas package.
Two other Ring Events also continued with their respective starting flights on Monday: Ring Event #3, the €550 PLO Opener, moved on to Day 1B, and Ring Event #2, the €550 Mystery Bounty, added Day 1C.

Tordai Rides an 11-Big-Blind Stack to Mini Main Event Glory
After five starting flights and 1,709 total entries, the Mini Main Event field was cut down to a final table on Day 2, and Sunday brought the conclusion of the tournament. Hungary’s Benjamin Lakatos arrived at the final table as a commanding chip leader, well clear of Italy’s Fabio Giamberardini in second.
But in the end, it was another Hungarian who took the throne of this mammoth event. Peter Tordai, who started the final table with just 11 big blinds, defeated Israel’s Jakob Melloul heads-up to win the €85,000 top prize, the coveted gold ring, and a $5,000 WSOP Paradise package that will take him to the Bahamas in December. Tordai didn’t just win the title, he all but cleaned out the table on his way there, personally sending five of the final table’s eight eliminated players to the rail.
It’s the biggest score of Tordai’s career by some distance. According to the Hendon Mob, he had roughly $115,000 in lifetime cashes coming in, a figure he’s now nearly doubled with this win alone. Melloul, arguably the most animated player at the final table, will hardly be too disappointed with a €53,000 runner-up prize.

2026 WSOP Circuit Bratislava Mini Main Event Final Table Recap
The first player to fall was the field’s lone remaining home hope, Miroslav Salaj. Salaj shoved his short stack with K♦Q♥ and was called by Melloul in the Big Blind holding 10♣8♥. An eight on the 3♦8♦4♠ flop settled matters immediately, and Salaj couldn’t catch up, exiting in ninth place.
Soon after, two Hungarians clashed. Peter Tordai shoved from early position with A♥10♣, and Richard Broda called from the Big Blind with Q♠J♠. With similar stacks, it was Tordai’s tournament life on the line. The 2♥9♦K♣ flop kept him in front but gave Broda a handful of new outs. The 3♠ turn and 9♠ river were both blanks, and while Broda survived on life support, he busted a couple of hands later against Fabio Giamberardini in eighth.
Tordai was back in action moments later, completing on the small blind with K♠K♥ as Karel Havelka shoved all in from the Big Blind with K♦Q♣. The 3♦Q♦3♥ flop gave both players two pair, with a backdoor flush draw in the mix for the Czech. The A♣ turn meant only one of the two remaining queens could save Havelka, and the J♠ river sent him to the rail in seventh.
The Hungarian claimed another victim soon after. Giamberardini shoved from under the gun with K♠Q♦, and Tordai woke up with pocket aces on the Button. Everyone else got out of the way, and a clean J♠7♣2♠6♠7♦ board saw Tordai eliminate Giamberardini in sixth place, taking over the overall chip lead at the final table in the process.
The table continued to thin out as Adrian Sieradzki shoved from the cutoff with 6♦5♦ and Tordai called with 10♦5♥. The board missed both players completely, and ten-high was enough to send the Polish player home in fifth.
Tordai lost some momentum before running into a cooler of his own, getting his stack in with A♠Q♣ against Jozef Stern’s A♦K♣. Tordai was on the brink of elimination on a 7♥2♣A♥5♥ board, but the Q♦ river bailed him out in a big way. Stern didn’t last much longer, flopping top two pair with A♠9♥ against Melloul’s J♦10♦ on a monotone 9♦A♦4♦ flop. The chips went in, and neither the 10♥ turn nor the K♠ river changed anything and the Austrian was out in fourth, just ten minutes after leading the field.
With three players left, Tordai shoved from the small blind with K♦J♣, and Benjamin Lakatos snap-called from the Big Blind with A♣6♥. A K♣7♣7♦9♦10♥ board sent the start-of-the-day chip leader home in third.
Tordai took a roughly 1.5-to-1 chip lead into the heads-up battle, and the stacks barely moved until the very last hand. Tordai limped with Q♠8♠, and Melloul happily saw a free flop with 9♦2♣. The dealer spread an 8♦9♥8♥ flop that spelled trouble for the Israeli, who check-called a bet from Tordai. The 3♣ turn was as dry as it gets, but Melloul snap check-raised all in anyway, leaving himself with only two outs in the deck. The A♦ river blanked, and Peter Tordai was crowned a WSOP Circuit gold ring winner, banking €85,000 as Jakob Melloul settled for €53,000 as the runner-up.

Mystery Bounty Brings a Fresh Wave of Chip Leaders
The third starting flight of the €550 Mystery Bounty brought a new influx of players to the felt, with 213 entries and 32 players advancing to the final day on Wednesday. The €200,000 guarantee hasn’t been reached just yet, but with one more flight still to come on Tuesday, it should be a formality.
Home player Martin Korman grabbed the biggest stack of Day 1C with 615,000, with Austria’s Kim Tae-hyong (464,000) and Romania’s József Liszkovics (447,000) not far behind. All three currently top the combined leaderboard after the first three starting flights.

PLO Opener Adds a Massive Second Flight
The €550 PLO Opener’s second flight brought 162 entries to the table, joining the 54 who came through Day 1A. Sixteen players survived Day 1B well into the money, bringing the total number of players already through to the final day up to 22.
The €150,000 guarantee hasn’t been hit yet either. It will take exactly 100 entries in Tuesday’s hyper turbo Day 1C flight to get there, otherwise, the festival could see its first overlay. Austria’s Nikolaus Grubmayr grabbed the overall chip lead with 1,047,000, one of five players advancing with a bigger stack than Day 1A’s leader, Izzat Bananyarli, heading into Tuesday’s final day.

Tuesday brings the conclusion of the PLO Opener’s starting flights, with a hyper turbo Day 1C at 11 a.m., before the event moves straight to its final day at 4 p.m. The Mystery Bounty continues with Day 1D at 5 p.m., and Ring Event #5, the €1,800 PLO Championship, kicks off its own Day 1A with a hefty €500,000 guarantee.
